Victoria de la zona Oceanfront estudio cerca de Royal Roads University y de la universidad de Pearson

Situado en Metchosin en las afueras de Victoria, nuestra casa junto al mar, a 30 minutos del aeropuerto y el famoso Butchart Gardens y 45 minutos de la terminal de BC Ferries Swartz Bay. Hay 3 campos de golf minutos - el Olympic View Golf Course, el Oso de Moutain Resort Golf Course y el curso Metchosin Golf. Playa del ingenioso, una playa larga y poco profunda ideal para chiquillos y adultos por igual se encuentra a 5 minutos a pie. El fácil acceso a nuestra cala tranquila, donde las focas toman el sol en las rocas con regularidad y frecuencia águilas se elevan por encima. La principal zona comercial está a 10 minutos en Langford y hay muchos restaurantes a menos de 15 minutos en coche.

Estamos a 10 minutos de la Universidad Royal Roads y unos 15 minutos de la universidad de Pearson.

Nuestra espaciosa suite estudio de 600 pies cuadrados está equipado con:

La suite tiene una entrada privada y se abre a un patio y jardín de vegetales. Caminar por ruta corta y están pasando por alto la cala, donde se puede observar focas tomando el sol en las rocas. Puede caminar hasta la playa, saltar rocas o explorar la orilla del mar.

Se permite un perro, siempre que:
• Son sociales: tenemos un joven barbudo social.
• Se quedan fuera de la cama y del sofá, ya que tenemos muchos huéspedes, algunos de los cuales pueden ser alérgicos a la caspa de perro.

La suite tiene un área cerrada, aprox. 25 ’x40 ’adjuntos a la suite y el patio exterior está completamente cercado y los perros invitados son bienvenidos allí con sus dueños.

A stay at Bob and Jennifer's studio was the perfect getaway. Nestled on a quiet bay, the studio is far enough from the bustle to feel like a true escape but still conveniently close to everything you might need.Every morning began with a cup of coffee in the gazebo, watching the incredible sea life. Seals playfully swam and fished in the bay, while eagles and kingfishers soared overhead. The backyard, with its small rocky islands dotting the water, was a constant source of peaceful entertainment.The location is ideal for nature lovers. A provincial park with stunning daily walks is just a short distance away. After a day of exploring, returning to the tranquil setting of the studio felt like coming home. The sunny weather was a bonus, making the whole experience even more enjoyable.To top it all off, Bob and Jennifer were wonderful hosts—friendly and welcoming. I can't recommend this place enough and can't wait to go back.

Bob and Jennifer were very kind and accommodating hosts. The apartment was just perfect size for 2 adults. It was very clean and well cared for. The best part was the stunning views from the back yard. My hisband and I would sit out each night with a beverage and watch nature in action. It was a busy little bay woth seals, heron, kingfisher, hummingbirds and bats. Thank you Jennifer and Bob!!

We had an amazing stay at Bob and Jennifer's home and enjoyed our morning coffee looking out on the water watching sea lions, otters and other wildlife. The unit came complete with some groceries to get one though the first night incase you were not able to get to a store. Bob and Jennifer were very accommodating offering their advice to any questions we may have had. We would not hesitate to recommend their accommodation to anyone would definitely stay there again. Thank you Bob and Jennifer for sharing your home with us.

It was a memorable weekend at Metchosin. It’s quiet and vibrant. Jennifer and Bob’s place is something you will treasure, you have the million dollar view while watching the seals, birds, kayakers and ships passing by.

We will be forever grateful for the memory of our stay at Salty’s by the Sea in Metchosin - we loved it! Sadly we were only there for 3 nights. We had hired a car with plans to explore more of the island but the bay at the end of the garden is captivating and full of life and beauty. We didn’t need to venture very far - one day into Victoria and a morning along a bay or two … The accommodation is perfect, comfortable, well equipped and the welcome bundle was generous and much appreciated (not to mention some fresh berries from the garden :-) … we had completely forgotten about the provided provisions so it was a lovely surprise!On the Sunday my husband enjoyed exploring the local area on his bike while I enjoyed present shopping at the local Metchosin Farmers market, visiting the School Museum, taking in an art exhibition and generally loving life and the friendly folk!Bob and Jennifer are warm and welcoming. We enjoyed our conversations and appreciated their hospitality. Our stay was perfect.

Slice of Paradise

Bob and Jennifer were gracious hosts with tons of suggestions on things to do in and around Victoria. The property itself was beautifully manicured with ample outdoor seating to just sit around and watch the ships, seals, bald eagles and even whales. The suite is lovely and well equipped.

Great respite location from busy Victoria

Enjoyed our calm and relaxing stay at Bob and Jennifer's beautiful property. Very generous hosts who generously provided a few breakfast items to get us started. The back yard was a wonderful sanctuary with a beautiful view, and it was fenced for our dog, too. Thank you so much for hosting us!

The Place to Stay....

The description of the place was correct with no surprises. The owners were very kind and met me as I arrived to give me a tour. The location is about a 15 minute drive to down town Victoria and about 45 minutes to the Airport or the Swartz ferry terminal. I was there for ten nights and enjoyed my stay. The bed is actually very comfortable. The area around the property is an amazing place with forest everywhere and some really beautiful homes. Great place to take walks or a drive.

Perfect getaway!

Best place ever

Bob and Jennifer are great hosts. There place is perfect. The vues are magnificent. Eagles, seals, herons. We watch racing sailboats passing by (Swiftsure race). Easy ride to Victoria. 5 minutes to the grocery store and liquor store. It is super quiet. 10 minute walk to the coast and a great beach.

Quiet Getaway close to Victoria

Bob and Jennifer are sweet. We wanted quiet privacy to celebrate our anniversary just the two of us and we found that here with a private apartment attached to Bob and Jennifer's home. Beautiful view, quiet neighborhood, and simple breakfast items for us.

A True Gem!

Everything about Salty's by the Sea is wonderful - the suite, the property, the hosts and Fergus of course, the resident 4 legged host. The private table and fenced in area in the garden for the suite was wonderful for us and our dog to just chill. And the whole Metchosen area is a beautiful area to vacation, quaint rural type of surroundings with small beaches, and easy commute into Victoria if desired. Also a shout out to "My Chosen" a local restaurant and bakery that was a delightful bonus for our stay - great food and service! I highly recommend this destination for a west coast vibe.

Salty’s Towers

We recently spent 3 nights in this cosy and comfortable accommodation. We were greeted by generous and amicable hosts Rob and Jennifer who left food in the fridge for us to cover the first couple of days - how kind! We enjoyed the beautiful private cottage garden attached to the vrbo accommodation, and our hosts generously shared their own garden with its stunning views of the ocean. The entire property was fully fenced and totally safe for our little Yorkie-poo. We swam to a tiny island nearby via the hosts’ private beach front. The property was most conveniently located close to parks, walks, shops and restaurants nearby. Highly recommended.

Scenic Wonder

Properrty was beautiful and well kept, The suite was roomy and cosy with a personal touch. Kitchen area was well stocked. The suite was very clean and the garden areas were beautiful. The owners were very accomodating and friendly. Location and property was dog friendly, our dog loved the place. I would highly recommend this little piece of paradise.

Absolutely delightful

Very welcoming hosts who welcomed us into their lovely home, provided some delicious staples and some great advice about the locality. The view from the garden was absolutely breathtaking and we greatly enjoyed watching the array of wildlife. Thank you for a lovely few days.

A Little Slice of Heaven

Beautiful gardens and landscaping. Different areas to relax in: one we right outside the garden; one in the open overlooking the ocean with seals and geese; another covered area overlooking the aforementioned area; and one down below, almost at sea level in a sheltered area. Jen and Bob were great and had some breakfast items in the fridge along with some fruit. Only negative was there wasn’t a separate bedroom. Would stay there again.

Beautiful Metchosin

This little gem on the water was just what we needed for a few days. We were there to visit my brother and to attend Fired Up, a ceramic show and sale. The kitchen was very well stocked and we cooked two of our dinners ‘at home’ and ate out in Sooke one night. Showery weather kept us from enjoying the garden much but there’s a little alcove down by the water’s edge to watch the ocean. Sea otters romping and more! Thank you Bob and Jennifer.

Salty's by the Sea

Bob and Jennifer and Fergus were wonderful hosts. So nice to be greeted in person! The seperate suite had everything needed to be self sufficient. The gift of first meal groceries and fresh fruit was very much appreciated and a very thoughtful addition by the hosts. The secluded bay, the lush gardens and the seperate patio area provided so many places to rest and retreat. I highly recommend Salty's by the Sea and hope to return next time I'm vacationing on the island.
