Happy Ours at Sunset Island, Prime location for large families, Sun-Sun weeks

Happy Ours has a prime location within the unique, resort community of Sunset Island that is sure to have something to appeal to every member of your family.

Nestled just within the gated entrance of the community, the house is just steps away from the Clubhouse, which provides access to the Indoor and outdoor pools, locker rooms, and the fitness center. Adjacent to the pool deck, also just steps from your door, is the largest of the 3 private beaches, which also has beach and poolside service from the tiki bar which also has a lite fare menu. Just before entering the community there are several shops, restaurants, bars and even the OC bus stop at this convenient mid-town location. A short walk or bike ride on 67th street will take you right to the ocean.

The community also offers two smaller private beaches, interactive fountains, a little café/convenience store for Starbucks coffee, light breakfast, sandwiches, frozen treats and convenience items, boat slips available for rental, a crabbing/fishing pier and a scenic walking/jogging trail encircling the 1 mile perimeter of the community. Sign-ups are available for Boot-camp or Yoga programs that are typically scheduled a couple of times during a one week stay. There are also free kids’ educational programs offered by our resident Naturalist to learn about the marine and local wildlife indigenous to the island. The social committee also also offers various activities and events throughtout the summer, including weekly movies on the beach.

Happy Ours is the perfect home for large, extended or combined family vacations. There is a **MAX of 10 Adults/teens (or persons over 12 years old) due to bedding. Max occupancy is 12 including infants and small children!

Linens are now included in reservations betweem Memorial Day and Labor Day. A linen delivery service can be scheduled for your convenience outside of that timeframe.

Enjoy a vacation home away from home! At the house you will find beach toys, umbrellas, beach chairs, crabbing and fishing gear, 4 adult bikes, beach carts, a charcoal and/or pellet grill (host will be able to discuss availability closer to check-in) and well stocked kitchen which includes a crock-pot and large electric griddle for quick and easy homemade meals.
Whole-house wi-fi allows you to stream, play or interact on any of the smart-tvs throughout the house or your own devices. The living room also has a sound bar for better sound quality for movies or your blue tooth devices.

To protect our property and our guests during the rental period and to assist with check-in and turn-over verifications our home has been equipped with a security camera at the rear entry, in the garage and front door. These cameras are directed and intended to record entries and departures of the home only.
All overnight guests must be registered on the rental agreement and government issued photo id must be provided.
** No pets are allowed in this vacation home.
** No smoking (including vaping) inside the property
*In compliance with HOA requirements all primary renters must be a minimum of 25 years old. On holidays and some town events this age may increase to 30 yrs old. No subletting or substitutions are allowed. Age verification is required.

The community resort fee includes parking/passes for 3 cars (1 car in the garage and 2 vehicles in the driveway/parking pad) and 6 pool passes. This fee is charged and collected by Sunset Island. The current fee schedule is for reservations 5/1-5/28 and 9/11-9/30 $150 and 5/29-9/10 $200.
Additional pool passes (for up to the number of registered guests) and one additional parking pass, subject to availability, can be purchased for $70/piece.
