Very clean inside and a great location! Only a few minutes walk to the orange line and a 20 minute train ride to the heart of Boston. Check in and out are easy. Everything you need to have simple meals at the house and a hot bath before bed. The bedroom with bunk beds is nicely set up for people with young children. The window AC units kept up with the 95 degree days that we had during our stay. I almost forgot to mention that there are plenty of hooks for clothes and towels, etc!!! It's so nice to finally stay in a place with them

My family of six had a perfectly pleasant stay. Apartment was clean and in good condition, location was convenient, and great communication from the host. The jet tub did not disappoint. Would recommend.

Great stay

Nice place near the T. Quiet and clean. Washer/dryer not in unit. There is an odd sliding door in the unit, not sure how secure it is but we had no issues.

Great location

I really wanted to like it. The location was perfect for us. Place needs repairs and updates. Shower head leaking, handle comes off and same with toaster. Beds are uncomfortable. Wish communication with host was better. No hand soap in the bathroom. Could use better cleaning

Easy commute

Came to watch Boston Red Sox game but didn’t want to drive in city. This apartment was spacious and had the amount of bedrooms we needed at good price. It was clean and had all Amenities needed. Easy walk to T station. Friendly neighborhood.

Malden rental property

This property is in need of maintenance with regards to the shower (control knob was broken), the dishwasher (mounting attachments were loose), and overall cleanliness. Also, the bed mattresses were too soft - getting a good night's sleep was a bit difficult. In general, we would recommend improvements to the cleaning, maintenance and better mattresses.

Location

This is all about location. Close enough to the train station to get into downtown Boston in minutes. But away from the craziness of the city. Apartment is nice and bedrooms are good size. Would stay again.

Overall - Nice

Rental was pretty much just as described and shown in the pictures. Clean and good amount of space for the money. Parking is limited to one car per apartment. We had three vehicles. Fortunately, our unit’s parking spot was the biggest available and we were able to squeeze two cars in to the space plus street parking on the weekends is allowed without a permit. Not sure what we would have done if we stayed during the week. Also want to mention that there is a barn door in the unit that leads to the basement which is off limits. There is a small chain lock on this door but doesn’t feel safe at all. We came home one time to find someone had accessed the basement from outside. Would have been very concerned if I had younger children staying with us. Other than parking and this weird door, everything else was fine.

Disappointing but worked

Host communication was good at first, she responded to query about hair dryer by purchasing one. However, we were refused the checkin info which, as two older women, my sister and I asked for so we could know where we were actually going before we flew cross country. After stressful back and forth with host, we were finally given the address so that we could check out the neighborhood and plan our activities. We were refused the actual check-in information until check-in which added to the stress of the trip. We just wanted to know exactly where we were going and how we would get in Arriving, there was trash around the doorway heightening our concerns about where we would be stay Tues-Sat. It was a hot day but the AC was not on and one of the window units (which were noisy and old) did not have a working on button. In the kitchen, cooking equipment was minimal and we were left only enough dishwashing liquid for one use, the sponge was not new (which just is a nicety that many hosts provide), there were no hand towels and there were dirty dishes in the dishwasher. I saw a roach in the shower, we had to supplement tp, toilet seat old and gross. Decor in kitchen was poinsettas from Christmas. Emergency numbers were well-displayed. Beds were reasonably comfortable though one had a plastic cover which was noisy, cotton towels were weirdly unabsorbent. Not enough hangers. Apt layout is good. Door to basement with big 'DO NOT ENTER' sign is...strange. Neighborhood was nice

Out of town work

I travel for work sometimes up to six of us. It is hard to find a nice clean comfortable place to stay at an affordable price. This place is very clean and comfortable. The only complaint I have is the toilet is kind of crammed in between the shower and the tub. Other than that this is a wonderful place to stay.
