Added the cottage behind the main house for a week when our adult children came to visit. The experience was terrific. Beds comfortable. Kitchen well supplied. We cooked every day. I enjoyed watching the sun rise and set on the mountains from the comfort of the living room. Easy access to the purple bus or easy walk to the gondola for those who didn’t want to wait. Location is perfect for walking to town as well as the sledding hill. This is our second year staying at this location. We’re looking forward to staying there again. River Ridge Rentals is very responsive to questions etc. hot tub was well maintained with frequent service.

The property was as advertized and the management company was easy to work with. Walking distance to shops , restaurants , mountain ... Will stay at this location when in Breck again.. This unit looks brand new..

Good location, easy walk to Main Street. Full complement of dishes, pots and pans, silverware, etc. Nice beds, linens, and towels. Maybe this is picky, but we could not find any hot pads for removing pans from oven, and could use some plastic glasses for use in hot tub. Didn't respond to after hours "emergency" phone call until the next morning.

One month at French Street Retreat

Our adult children and grandchildren joined us at different times. There was plenty of room. Kitchen was well equipped for all the meals we prepared. Hot tub was right outside the back door, quite convenient. All the beds were very comfortable. River Ridge staff was extremely responsive and helpful. Very close to downtown, short walk or bus ride to the gondola. Would rent this house again.

Great Family Ski Trip

Reviewer Comments: We had another excellent stay in Breck and the "French Street Retreat" was a wonderful place to call home while we were there (five people in our party). The check in process was easy, the home is outstanding, spacious, very well appointed and spotlessly clean. The location is excellent--we walked everywhere--Main Street shops and restaurants, Quicksilver lift, and Gondola--and the shuttle stop is just on the corner. We highly recommend this house if you're looking for a spot for a family vacation. We look forward to returning.

There was plenty of room for three couples to have their own space, and to relax together in front of the fireplace. Everything we needed was there, and we were able to walk to town, restaurants, and trails.

Perfect!

We loved this house & its proximity to town…. We could walk almost everywhere!! We had 6 adults, 3 children, and 2 dogs…. Everyone was happy! The hosts were very helpful & quick to respond to texts. Highly recommend if you’re in Breckenridge!

Kitchen well equipped. Parking for 2 cars but we squeezed in a 3rd small one. Hot tub was great apres ski. Minor issues: front right burner on stove does not light reliably and need a better cork screw. Overall great experience and would stay again.
