This beautiful and luxury property gets back to nature! Overlooking a beautiful 30 acres body of water where you can fish, kayak, swim and some other activities with the whole family. Perfect getaway, you will be able to rest and recharge. This place is within 30 minutes away from the sports complex, Blue Oval, Abraham Lincoln Birthplace, Log still Distillery, mammoth cave, Lynn camp launch on the green river for conoing and kayaking and much more.


Complete with a gorgeous King size bed with a private full bath, 1 Bedroom with 2 queen beds and 1 bedroom with bunk beds along with living room area and a loft area with comfortable sofa, flat screen tv's, a dining table and full kitchen. We look forward to making your stay an enjoyable experience!

Fantastic Group Getaway

Our stay was amazing and our host was very easy to work with. Its a great location for a group of people to host and enjoy some time off the lake. The property was very clean and well maintained and had many amenities that made the stay easy and enjoyable. You won't regret booking this if your looking for a quiet getaway with lots of space to enjoy.

Beautiful country property with plenty of space to spread out. Kids loved pulling in big fish, shooting hoops, throwing bags and swimming. Will be back as soon as we can!

Great Stay with Friends

This is a fantastic place to stay with families and friends. A relaxing environment yet we were still able to take day trips to see Mammoth National Park, Abraham Lincoln's birthplace and Louisville Slugger Museum. When we weren't going on excursions, the kids (and adults) LOVED playing basketball in the gym while watching March Madness.

Perfect for a big family

Awesome place. We had an amazing time. Perfectly set up for a big family with lots of kids. The kids were outside or in the gym the whole time.

Awesome accommodations, amazing lake, views, and wildlife, that was all detoured when we lost our 8 yr old Lab. She was missing for 48 hours, however let me tell you about the loving and wonderful people in this community and close neighbors, who all pitched in by spreading the word and even physically searching themselves. We found her alive and well. Then enjoyed our last day on the lake, and property catching numerous catfish and bass. Geese fly in the evening and overnight, then leave to feed in the morning. Hodgenville is a short drive, to get groceries or restaurants. Would recommend this property to any and all, whether families and children, or just a couple like us needing time away.

We booked this to tour Mammoth Caves. Caves were closed due to rain and flooding. This property was so awesome that my kids didn’t mind being stranded there. Garage is a great hang out and bigger than it looks in pictures. Definitely did not disappoint.

Birthday party weekend

This was our second stay at this amazing property. It was just as magical as the first trip. It provided a perfecr set up for a birthday party for both of my kids. It was a cold and snowy weekend, but the kids were warm and entertained the entire trip.This property is a gem.

Quiet open space.

The property listing is accurate. All modern fixtures and comforts to make the stay relaxing. The combination of the large grass and fields next to a large lake was a wonderful setting.

Private lake

Amazing property that is very well-appointed. We never left the house the 4 days we were there! The lake is amazing and clean, perfect to paddle board on. Lots of land to play with your dog and nice memory foam beds. This is one of the best vacation rentals I have ever stayed at!

Perfection

This place was absolutely beautiful. Fishing on the pond watching the geese fly in and out throughout the day. Rocking on the porch and stargazing at night. The amenities were so nice to have when we wanted a break from the outdoors. Basketball and corn hole in the garage with great speakers for our music. My girls loved riding their scooters through the huge garage area. We had everything we needed to cook our meals. They also had plenty of toilet paper, paper towels, etc to get us started. All of the beds and couches were comfy and we felt right at home! Not one issue during our stay. We definitely plan to stay again in the future! Best spring break our family has had in a long time.

We came to town to play at the Ripken baseball park in Elizabethtown. We had 3 families. Boys all 14 +. They had THE BEST time. Fishing. Playing basketball. Cornhole. Us parents had a blast too! 25 mins from the ballpark. Would 100% recommend! We put all the boys in the loft on the couch and air mattresses.

Amazing Family Time

This was the quiet, relaxing week away that we needed. We didn’t leave the house for the first 2 full days. With the basketball games, tons of cornhole, time spent on the porch and dock just being still, bird watching, and ALL the fish that were caught (over 70 plus a snapping turtle!), using my teens’ words - “Phenomenal” “Loved it” “Hope to go back” “Every part was amazing” !Mammoth Cave was one of our only excursions from the house. It was beautiful! Urgent care was another trip for a lure stuck in a finger. We had to drive 30 minutes to the closest one that was open that day.And a must stop is The Whistle Stop in Glendale - amazing butterscotch meringue pie. Yum! Everything we needed was provided - plenty of towels, toilet paper, spices, kitchen needs. The only thing we needed more of was dishwasher tablets. My only note of caution is that if you like a softer mattress, bring some extra padding. The beds were fine but I personally need a lot more “cushion”. I always travel with extra padding. Chris is a great host. We hated to leave but hope to make it back again one day. Thank you for amazing family memories in your country home.

A little piece of Heaven !

We stayed at this property the past 4 days for the 4th of July week with family. We came in from NC, family from Chicago and from Shepardsville. This property was everything wanted and could imagine. This property offered activities for everyone but most importantly the kids. Every single one of them stayed outside or in the gym area the whole time we was here. Most of these kids stays on their phones or games all day, but this trip, none of them did which was a big blessing. I’m sitting here thinking about the best words to describe this place, but it’s hard because we don’t want this secret to get out. The owners was very professional and replied in a timely manner. The house was clean and offered everything you needed to have a few days away. Kitchen was stocked of things you need. Plenty of rooms and space for a family gathering. This place is a must see and a great place to bring the family

Family Vacay

Remember that summer vacation you took as a child, and you still remember it with fond memories years later? This was that trip for us. This property is unbelievably beautiful. It has fishing, swimming, basketball, a fire pit just to name a few. You arent limited to weather controlling your plans. If it rains there is a huge indoor space for activities. The views are phenomenal, and it is private and peaceful. This is the spot to reconnect with your family, and enjoy the nature that surrounds you. The communication was top notch from the property owner. The property was squeaky clean, and they had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. My children had an incredible stay, and are still talking about it. Thank you for helping provide a meaningful core memory in my childrens life! Highly highly reccomend this property. You will not be disappointed.

Great Experience, highly recommended

Great experience, the place is just as described on photos. Towels are provided, enough toilet paper and trash bags were provided. I really appreciate that Chris and Crista gave us enough supplies to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Love that they provided us with everything to make smores, and coffee. A general store is close by, within 5 min drive. The garage was accesible, however it was not cleaned, and had a lot of personal items, so we thought we were not allowed to use it, anyhow, we were fine with using the outdoor space which is where we spent most of our time. The house has an exeptional view. Having a blender would be nice. Me and my family don't really see other often because we live in different states, we all had a great experience in this house and were very happy to be all reunited again. Thank you for having us.

Amazing!

We highly recommend this home; you will enjoy every moment. The property is accurately described in the listing photos, amazing! The house is well stocked from towels to kitchen essentials. The home has a huge indoor space with basketball, cornhole, TV and large table for playing board games. Our children could not have been more pleased, they spent every minute either swimming in the lake or playing basketball. Adults were just as pleased spending every morning, before our day began, on the porch drinking coffee and watching the sunrise. After a day of exploring (Mammoth Cave, The Arc, Forest Giants, Lost River Cave, just to name a few) then when dinner was cooked, dishes were clean we enjoyed the evening cool air on the porch watching the deer and turkeys come out to feed on the bank across the lake. An amazing place for a family, we give this home a 10 of 10 and would 100% recommend staying here for a family Kentucky vacation. The property owners responding quickly to our one question, about fishing, after that we did not need anything more for, they communicated everything in advance. Thank you for sharing your lake home with us!

Everything was great. Very clean and inviting. Very spacious. The pond and outside property were very well kept as well. Had a great time fishing with the whole family and the dogs. Would definitely recommend to anyone who enjoys fishing and enjoying and nature. Very peaceful.

This property is so relaxing and peaceful. We can just set on the porch all day and watch the waves on the lake. We really enjoy watching the wildlife and our kids fishing and playing in the water.

This property is very private, peaceful and secluded. The Views are breathtaking as soon as you pull into the property. When you are at this property it seems as if everything finally slows down and you can enjoy quality time with family without being on phones and tablets. Love the family time that we get at this place!!
