Can’t really complain about anything for the affordability of the place. Everything worked the way it was supposed to.

Nice size house for our group of 6.

The house is small and in an older neighborhood, but cozy and nice. We had everything we needed for our two night stay. All the appliances worked and there wasn't much we had to do for check-out. Some properties ask you to do more than just start the dishwasher and washer machine. We didn’t spend much time there as we were out and about all day. Each bedroom has a TV, which was nice, plus the TV in the living room.

Ok if you are not picky

The house has a lot of fragrance trying to mask the old smell. It will give you a headache. The floors were sticky. I'm sure it was from the cleaning solution. The beds were not comfortable. If you are not picky and trying to save money, this will probably be fine.

I wouldn’t be able to rate this house as the host never sent the information to access the house and when I sent messages the day of check in, no response was received and when calling him no answer ! VRBO guest services were very helpful, they helped me cancel, and help me get a refund. I’m thankful I was able to find other place to stay for our stay otherwise our weekend would have been ruined!

We never got access to the property. The host would not respond, despite dozens of attempts. Had to drive all night back home because there were no rooms available in the area, due to a big event. Terrible, TERRIBLE experience!!!

Quaint

You can tell a lot of effort goes into making the place comfortable. Little details like the decor, conveniently placed hooks, the appearance of plants and the organization of dishes in order to make it homely. Cleanliness left a little to be desired since I felt the house needed a good dusting and either previous guest or owner was a smoker so there was a fair amount of fragrance trying to mask that fact. (There is no smoking in the house but the smell permeated) There is a dedicated butt can but unfortunately, considering how windy it gets, it just littered the few that were present across the yard.Another review mentioned sticky floors, which is just an unfortunate byproduct of vinyl or linoleum flooring. We brought our baby with us and cleaned the floors in order to get rid of the ambient sticking and it persisted, it wasn't a major problem just kind of a nuisance when putting the baby down for naps. If you're a sock wearer it's a non-issue. There was coffee and essentials present in the kitchen and all the trash was empty and soap dispensers full. The linens were clean, towels plentiful and every bedroom came with an extra set of fresh bedspreads in case the ones on the bed weren't to your liking. Manager of property was courteous and timely with some billing inquiries we had and the neighborhood was tucked away enough to not get a ton of through traffic.Overall, a nice stay.
