Hamilton Lodge is a completely remodeled lakefront retreat on Lake Hamilton nestled at the end of the point adjacent to Garvan Woodland Gardens - home of the Anthony Chapel and some of the most beautiful gardens in the country. In just 20 steps from the porch, you’ll be dipping your toes in the lake, climbing in your kayak, sitting on one of numerous Adirondack chairs, or walking out to your private covered boat slip with attached floating sun deck with lounge chairs. Over 2000 square feet of outdoor decking graces the lakefront. Half of the decks are covered, providing shade for outdoor seating, glider couches, dining tables, and rocking chairs. The other sun-seeking decks invite you to enjoy lake life at its finest. There’s plenty of space for games and water recreation, but you’ll be tempted to just sit, relax, and enjoy the tranquility of lakeside living. While centrally located on Lake Hamilton, it’s just off the main channel, so lake traffic is minimized. And you’re not tucked in a cove looking across at houses or condos just across a short stretch of water. Your view is of one of the largest open-water areas of Lake Hamilton with views of uninhabited Electric Island in the distant foreground and Mount Riante in the far distance. It truly is a slice of heaven just waiting for you to experience with your family or a group of friends.

Step inside the door and be greeted by an inviting and spacious living, dining & kitchen area, featuring a large smart TV, comfortable seating arrangements and wall-to-wall windows offering stunning views of the lake. You’ll find plenty of games, puzzles, cards and poker chips in the entry cabinet. The kitchen features a stainless-steel double oven, 48” 6-burner gas cooktop with griddle, 2 refrigerators, pantry, and everything you might want for cooking any meal. Grocery delivery is also available.

A drink station includes a Keurig coffee pot and pod offerings, a drink refrigerator that keeps drinks extra cold, and a large ice maker (1 of 4 ice makers in the house.) Don’t forget to grab a frozen glass mug from the freezer for your first pour!

The home has 4 master suites with king beds and attached bathrooms - 2 upstairs and 2 downstairs. (Two of these king bedrooms can be converted to 2 twin XL beds in each room upon advance request – a perfect solution for needing extra beds for individuals.) Each of these rooms has a smart TV, seating area and ceiling fan. The bunkroom features 2 twin-over-twin beds (sleeps 4) and has glass French doors that open to the 2nd floor deck with breathtaking views of the lake. The bunks all have independent wall outlets for phone and tablet charging.

Each bathroom has a custom tile shower stocked with shampoo, conditioner, & body wash. Additional amenities are also included plus multiple towel sets in each bathroom. The tankless water heater means the last person still gets a hot shower. Microfiber beach towels are provided for outside use.

The 2nd floor deck includes two classic glider couches, Adirondack chairs and 5 rocking chairs. If the breeze isn’t strong enough, just turn on the ceiling fans. The 1st floor deck includes a covered seating area with cushioned couch and chairs, a large dining table that seats 10 or more, a massive gas griddle for cooking outside, a hot tub for up to 7 people, and additional seating on the sun deck. Just a few steps down to the water level, you will enjoy the expansive deck with more chairs, the fire pit, and walkway out to your private boat slip with floating 12x20 swim deck attached. If you’re looking for adventure, take the kayaks across to Electric Island and enjoy the 2-mile nature trail.

The first-floor central hallway has a full-length mirror, utility closet (Washer/Dryer, Detergent, Iron/Board, Steamer) and access to the carport and both downstairs full bathrooms. The 2-car carport has an EV charger that can be used for a small fee so no need to search out a charging station or wait for a charge!

Are you attending a wedding at the Anthony Chapel at Garvan Woodland Gardens? Look no further than Hamilton Lodge. As the crow flies, Hamilton Lodge is about 400 yards from the gardens. It’s about a 10-minute WALK to the garden gates, and you’re just minutes away if driving. This house has been the perfect spot for the bride’s family, groom’s family, or guests that want to make the most of a magical weekend. (Many guests stay for the whole week!)

You’ll receive the door code several days before your arrival. Early check-in, if available, can be requested.

Unfortunately, this property is not available to student groups, large events on the property. Please message management for any special requests. Families and those over age 25 are welcome to book!

Bedroom 1: 2nd Floor, King bed with ensuite bathroom, waterfall shower with bench. This room has spectacular views of the lake and Mt. Riante. Smart TV, Seating and work desk. Direct access to 2nd floor deck with outdoor covered seating area with 2 classic glider couches.

Bedroom 3: 1st Floor, King Bed with connected full bathroom. Seating area, smart TV. King bed can be converted to 2 Twin XL beds with advance request to accommodate 2 individuals sharing the room.

Bedroom 4: 1st Floor, King Bed with connected full bathroom. Seating area, smart TV. King bed can be converted to 2 Twin XL beds with advance request to accommodate 2 individuals sharing the room.

Bedroom 5: 2nd floor bunkroom with 2 twin-over-twin beds, each with charging outlets. (Sleeps 4). Double glass French doors provide access to 2nd floor deck with 4 rocking chairs and breathtaking views.
