Vacation in privacy and luxury at this magnificent, 6,500 sq ft upscale, coastal contemporary, on just under two acres and less than 500 feet from an immense private, sandy beach on Cape Cod Bay. Only five properties have access to the private beach, which stretches a distance of more than three football fields along the bay. There is an easy, pretty path leading to the beach, yet the final access over the dunes and down to the beach, while only a very short distance, may be challenging for some.

Kitchen and Dining: Naturally, a home such as this has a spacious and exquisitely equipped, updated chef's kitchen. There's also a large, connected caterer's kitchen. You'll enjoy all topline appliances, including two dishwashers, a Keurig coffee maker, freestanding ice maker and a handy wine fridge. There are double gas ranges and ovens. The more than ample granite counters include a generous center island.

There's an informal dining area off the kitchen with a large Pottery Barn dining table, while the more formal dining room, which easily seats up to 12, is off the home's main entrance foyer and has a striking coffered ceiling.

Interior Living Spaces: There are several comfy lounge seating areas where guests can gather for conversation or to view TV. Counting the bedrooms, there are four gas fireplaces in all. The main level is also home to a private office/work station for anyone in the group who cares to work remote.

Moving up to the second level, you first encounter yet another small lounge area. There are two small decks off either side of that sitting area with comfy seating of their own.

The second level is also where you'll find the self-contained apartment in the space over the three- car garage. The apartment has a full kitchen, a full-size bedroom with a queen bed, a full bath with a walk-in, no-step shower and a washer/dryer. It also enjoys its own private brick patio.

On the lower level, you'll find the media room and more lounge seating for a large TV. The property-wide sound system is controlled from here as well. This level also provides what the owners call their “Beach Room,” where much of the beach gear is kept. There is also a handy half bath here.

Sleeping Arrangements: Your group of up to 10 will relish the comfortable sleeping arrangements at this upscale property. The second level sets forth the primary king suite with a full bath ensuite. You'll be impressed by the huge dressing room with closets on all four sides, plus a stunning center island, handmade from Brazilian mahogany. There are two bedrooms on the second level with kings, one has a full private bath. The other shares a full bath with the final second level true bedroom, this one with two twin beds. There is also a queen size sleep sofa on the second level. In all the house has 4.5 baths, including a full private bath on the lower level, where another spacious king suite is located.

Outdoor Spaces: This property is designed to make the most of summer outdoor living and dining. It has multiple brick patios, the largest of which is truly gigantic. The patio table here seats 10, plus the eight Adirondack chairs, which normally provide seating around the oversized natural gas fueled fire pit. The fire pit is ideal for evening gatherings to gaze at the stars and plan the next day's activities. A smaller patio, but not really that small, is home to the larger than normal (10 ft X 5 ft) enclosed outdoor shower with its soothing, very special rain shower head. You may find some of your group members lingering longer than usual in that outdoor shower.

One more extraordinary feature of this house is the small rooftop deck, up a short stairway from the second level. This unique space provides an elevated peek at Cape Cod Bay and is a special place to enjoy cocktails and sunsets.

Location: No doubt you'll want to spend a fair share of your time on the beautiful bay beach a short distance from the house. But you can also walk nine minutes in the opposite direction to Scargo Beach on picturesque, freshwater Scargo Lake.

Feel like dining out? You have some excellent choices very nearby. The Sesuit Harbor Café, which serves up the best fried clams around is only a five-minute drive. In even less time you can drive to the popular Scargo Café for their famous tuna martini and dinner, or Grumpy's for breakfast or lunch, both right there for you on Route 6A, the King's Highway.
