Nice getaway

Peaceful

This property was in great shape and had all the amenities needed for a peaceful stay. The property was clean at check-in and was easy to find with the check-in information from the owner/management. The only real issue is that there are very few restaurants in this part of Gulf Shores but if you plan ahead and bring what you need from the grocery in town you will have a very quiet stay. The pools and beach were clean and in great shape. There are several golf courses in the area also that are top notch.

Thanks for staying with us and we love hearing you enjoyed your stay! Sassy Bass Island Grill is the restaurant at the resort where the condo is located. Next door is Kiva Dunes which has a nice place to eat and the Beach Club which has a couple of great places to eat along with themed food truck in the summer. You might also enjoy Tacky Jack's and Sassy Bass Amazin Gill that are a couple of miles from the condo, and for fine dining try Jessie's on the Bay is a “must try”. Please come back and see us again soon!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My family and I had a great stay during our time here. It was very clean and had everything we could have wanted in a vacation rental. However the WiFi didn’t seem to want to connect to the TVs so if you have kids that want to watch their shows during down time or night time I suggest bringing tablets. Other than that everything was great!

Housekeeping

The rooms need to be clean. The rug and floors were dirty. Neither tubs would drain.. so we didn’t shower.. and water was leaking in the bathroom roof over our toilet.

Sandi we are sorry you experienced a problem during your stay, but we heard nothing from you until this review. Our instructions are clear about letting us know immediately if anything needs attention so it can be addressed immediately to help you better enjoy your stay. The tubs drains have been addressed and a leak from the shower above was found and has been repaired. These items along with having the unit recleaned to your satisfaction would have been a quick fix had you let us know so we could have helped you better be able to enjoy your stay. Thank you for staying with us and in the future if you ever stay at one of our properties, we need to know upon arrival is there is anything need to make sure you have a great stay.

It’s ok

Had some problems that didn’t get addressed until the day before we were leaving. Some things in condo need updating. Will probably pass on this condo next time.

Viki we are sorry we needed time to have a plumbers scheduled to clear the shower drains which was one of your two concerns. The other concern was the bedding in the primary bedroom. A new box spring and mattress set were ordered and are being installed on Wednesday. To the best of my knowledge these were the only concerns you had regarding the condo. Thanks for staying with us and we hope you enjoyed your time at the beach!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have stayed in Golf Shores Plantation many times and still love it here. This rental was excellent and we would recommend it to anyone. The car parking process is not that that easy to do, and I noticed 5 cars sitting next to the guard station on Friday, all in the process of filling out forms. And the dryer payment system the property uses is terrible.

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: It was a nice place. This is my second review obviously they didn't like what I had to say in my first review because they didn't publish it. The place had several things wrong and the property manager didn't correct the issues and I won't book with her again because of that. Most of the pools were great but by end of our 7 days our pool was super dirty and cloudy you couldn't see the bottom so we had to go over to other condo resort pool and it was pristine. Whoever was cleaning our pool didn't know what they were doing.

The condo itself was very clean, well decorated and comfortably accommodated our family of five. The owners were easy to work with, accessible, and friendly. The resort itself has 6 pools, restaurant, sauna, gym, tennis courts, and basketball courts. I will definitely book again and will highly recommend this unit to anyone.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I sent 2 seperate emails to the property manager concerning maintenance issues. No one showed up while we were there to address these problems. Some should have been done right away, and otheres were proberly more long term, but if I were the owner, I would fix all issues for the guest's to have the best stay possible experience possible. One emergency call to fix the A/C was taken care of the same day.
