Relax and enjoy the breathtaking view at Balsam Haven. Our mountain home has year round long range view of the Great Smoky Mountains. Fireplace, and two fire pit areas. Grill out on our beautiful deck and enjoy the view! Conveniently located 3 minutes from Dillsboro and Tuckasegee River, 5 minutes from Downtown Sylva, 10 minutes to Western Carolina University (WCU) 15 minutes to Cherokee & Casino, 20 minutes to Great Smoky Mountain National Park, and 20 minutes to Bryson City. Cozy up by the indoor fireplace, gather around the outdoor firepit for smores, Play cornhole and ladder golf in the yard, and relax on the outdoor deck. Comfort, relaxation and fun await! Fenced in side yard perfect for pets.

Great place, Highly Recommend

Our family of 8 enjoyed this weekend at the house. Great time with all the amenities needed. Beautiful location, we went on the Polar Express in Bryson City, ate at Lulus in Sylva, super friendly people-highly recommend!

Great stay at Balsam Haven

House was clean and set up for a great stay. They had a cute tree up for the season too. The house is located close to several towns. We enjoyed shopping in Dillsboro and enjoued the holiday luminaries. Our dogs wnjiyed the

Balsam Haven is a beautiful, clean and comfortable home! The decor is very nice, the beds are very comfortable, and the view is spectacular! The home is not technically a 4 bedroom home but worked perfectly for our group. Thank you for allowing us to use your home! We definitely recommend it!

Beautiful home with wonderful views of the mountains, close to Sylva and WCU. We especially enjoyed sitting outside on the deck in the late afternoon/evenings and the fenced yard for our dog. Driveway was very steep, but we were able to manage it in our mini-van without any issues (and was worth the view). Hosts were great and very responsive, would stay here again in the future.

Great house, great views

We had a great overnight at Balsam Haven! Perfect spot to watch the sunrise. Everything we could need in the house. The deck is perfect, and having a fenced in side yard is really nice for our dogs. House was clean with lots of little touches to make our stay very pleasant. Will be back again if it’s not booked!

Graduation Weekend

Great place for WCU graduation weekend. House was perfect. Parking was a little lean with a full house, but extra spot helped! Road is pretty steep but had no issues. Owners were very quick to respond to questions.
