Serenity in the city. Luxury property carriage house in a peaceful garden enclave in the heart of Denver's hot Golden Triangle neighborhood. Secure courtyard entry from private garage (note that oversized trucks or SUVs may not fit)

Great for extended stays: full kitchen with pantry. Full bath with walk in shower. Large bedroom with organic King-sized mattress. Living room with smart tv and a comfy sofa (is appropriate for kid/3rd guest sleeping), and a fold down work or dining table cleverly hidden in the armoir when not in use. Two closets plus exterior storage if needed for gear.

The carriage house is great for romantic and cultural getaways, only one block from Denver Art Museum, cafes and coffee.2 blocks to Clyfford Still and History Colorado, The Art Hotel, Civic Center and the Capitol building. Walk to the Convention Center (.8 of a mile), Larimer Square and Union Station downtown or west to the Santa Fe Arts District. Easy 20 minute drive to Morrison for Red Rocks concerts.

Ideal for longer term executive relocation or travel nurse stays - only a few blocks' walk to Denver Health Medical Center.

The apartment is clean and has all modern conveniences. The high pressure shower is nice after traveling and the hosts got in touch with us in a timely manner. The area offers umteenth things to do. We were glad to have rented a car.

Great location, very clean, spacious. Had everything we needed. Garage parking was a bonus. Stairs are noted in the description - so note that It is challenging to bring a heavy suitcase up the steps. Arrival instructions were tricky - use GPS for the address but make sure the street name is specific as there is another completely different area with the same street name but with an added St. after the name that automatically pops up. We could walk to everything and owner restaurant recommendations were great.

Many Pros, A Few Cons

Positives: (1) The Golden Triangle neighborhood is fantastic. Walking distance to all the museums and plenty of fun coffee shops, restaurants. Neighborhood is gentrifying quickly. (2) The apt. is very spacious and layout is good. Very comfortable mattress and living room furniture. Lots of kitchen cookware and some starter items like coffee, spices, etc. (3) Check-in is a little complicated but Michelle is a good text communicator, directions on how to get garage opener, door key are very clear on VRBO once you actually rent. Print them out; you'll need them!Negatives: (1) The apt. is very noisy because it sits directly over the garage, and the way to enter both this rental, but also a larger home owned by the same owner, is through the garage. So the garage door goes up and down lots of times all day (and night, because the larger home had 8 people coming and going at all times.) And it's noisy. (2) Parking: we had a Chevy Malibu and BARELY fit lengthwise in the garage (about 1 inch to spare.) You CANNOT park a larger car in the garage. The main house guests had a large SUV (because there were 8 of them) and there was NO WAY they could park in the garage. There is plenty of on-street parking (for free) but with 2 hour time limits from 8am to 6pm except Sundays.

Cozy Colorado!

This place is an absolute gem! It’s in a prime location in downtown Denver, where you can walk to explore, shop, and dine. Having access to a parking space was a huge plus, as we rented a car to drive to hiking locations. The host was extremely responsive and checked in to make sure we had everything we needed. We will definitely be back!

Michele was a wonderful host. She met us for early check-in to drop of our luggage. She recommended restaurants that were a denver must see. She responded to our questions in good timing. Must see sites are the illusion museum. Pavilion, 5280 burger bar, and levan deli.

My husband and I could not have been happier with our choice for a short stay in Denver. The apartment was very clean and nicely appointed. The location was excellent for walking to museums and the many nice restaurants, cafes and bars in the area. Secure parking in the garage was an added bonus. Would definitely stay again.

The communication was perfect, the directions to get in the apartment were accurate, and the apartment was clean. Everything worked as it should and the bed was perfect for a good night’s rest. We hope to stay again!

Convenient and affordable for downtown Denver

We enjoyed our stay at this property. Fairly easy walking distance to the convention center, where we were attending a conference. It was more affordable than a lot of the downtown hotels with more amenities. Note that you couldn't do this property if you can't do stairs!

Michele was a great host, and the apartment is comfortable. The location worked well for me, and having access to a garage for parking was a bonus. It might be worth noting for future renters that the apartment is up a flight of steps.

Great spot!

The location was absolutely perfect for our stay to visit family. Walking distance to so many museums! Driving was also easy and having a garage spot helped very much. The unit was comfortable and surprisingly quiet for being downtown and close to hospitals. Highly recommend and will return the next time we are in town.

Great place!

The place is really nice - it's very clean and modern. It's not HUGE, but still spacious enough for 2-3 people. The location itself is awesome, as it's close to a lot, however finding it/getting in can take some getting used to. Lastly, our contact was very responsive as well and quite kind for assisting us. Overall a really great place to stay!

Amazing Property and Host

I came to Denver with my daughter for a concert and this was a perfect place to stay. It was within a short drive of everywhere we wanted to go. The property was amazing. Comfortable, very clean and safe/secure. The host went above and beyond. Made sure we had what we needed and were settled after we checked in. If I had a question answered me right away. Made sure we had the best stay possible. If I’m ever in Denver again this is the first place I will look to rent.

Nice getaway spot downtown!

This is a perfect little apartment for my husband and I and daughter as it was about four blocks from our son’s apartment. Nice walking distance to most things in our short stay. Michele was very kind and helpful. We would definitely stay here again!

Lovely place, great location

Really, a fantastic VRBO to stay at. I was there for a convention and this is about a 15 minute walk from the convention center. If you're comfortable using the scooters, it only takes minutes to get to and from there. The place is bigger than it looks in the pictures, with a very good sized bedroom, a well organized kitchen and a comfortable living room. Getting in took a bit, as I wasn't sent a code. But owner responded to messages and let me in personally. Had one other issue when one of the doors had locked me out, but after about 15 minutes, the owner responded and took care of it. Other than that, it was a flawless stay. AC/Heat worked well, there was a smart TV, and plenty of outlets. The place was extremely clean and had some staples in the kitchen available for cooking. There's a small local marketplace a few blocks away, and several bars/restaurants within walking distance. Would absolutely recommend this to anyone coming into town who wants to be within walking distance of the convention center, but doesn't want to be in the middle of all the commotion. Lovely stay.

The location and walkability to beautiful museums, coffee, parks and cafes is ideal. We love the street art nearby and easy access to everywhere in and around Denver or up into the mountain towns. The neighborhood is changing and will become only more vibrant with the new high end retail and residential developments.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

The Carriage House feels very private, and more like a home than staying at a hotel or in a busy condo building. High end finishes, furnishings, and lovely light make it a pretty and relaxing stay.
