"Roaring Creek"

Todd, NC: desde el momento en que llegas a Roaring Creek, el sonido del agua corriendo y el canto de los p��jaros comenzarán a relajarte. Disfrute de la naturaleza en su máxima expresión en esta encantadora casa de 3 habitaciones y 2 baños, ubicada en el centro de Boone y West Jefferson. En el nivel principal hay un comedor abierto, sala de estar y ��rea de cocina con hermosos pisos de madera noble. Te encantará acurrucarte junto a la chimenea de leña en esas frescas noches de Carolina Mountain en los cómodos muebles de cuero para ver una película en el televisor de pantalla plana con satélite. La espaciosa cocina está bien equipada para cocinar comidas familiares. Una mesa de hockey de aire se encuentra fuera de la cocina. En el nivel principal se encuentra la suite principal con cama queen, televisor de pantalla plana y baño privado. Arriba hay dos dormitorios, cada uno con camas queen. Afuera, relájese en el burbujeante jacuzzi o siéntese y relájese junto al arroyo.

Abundantly private, yet within 25-40 minutes of West Jefferson and Boone. Love the creek sounds and wide open pasture behind the cabin. Carolina Mountain Properties is a great company with which to work and plan vacations!

Great get away weekend

Took the family and the dog up to this private cabin and had a great time exploring the creek on the property. Also went into West Jefferson to check things out and get dinner. Had a great time!

Great Get Away

The new owners are definitely taking care of the cabin and it shows. I do hope they bring back the bridge, swinging chair on the front porch and some of the vegetation that has been removed. The hot tub is also in need of being replaced. The home has really become a special spot for our family and we hope to return.

Peaceful getaway

Our stay was everything that we had hoped for, quiet and peaceful, beautiful surroundings. The only thing is that I wish I had asked about prior to booking was about outdoor lights. From the pictures I had assumed there wouldn't be any bright city street level brightness security lights that couldn't be turned off. It may not bother everyone but total night-time darkness is something I look for when vacationing in rural/natural areas, both for star-gazing and sleep. I did appreciate that when I contacted the property manager through VRBO they did contact the owner to ask if the security light could be turned off (it couldn't). That is the only thing I would change though.

We heard barred and screech owls, several different thrushes, and saw wild turkeys in the meadow. Long days on the trails were soothed by evenings in the hot tub and the most comfortable bed.New owners have made nice updates, and as always, Jennifer and the team at Carolina Mountain Properties were great!

Nice weekend at Roaring Creek

Really enjoyed the quiet setting with the stream right next to the house! The house was a great size and had everything we needed. May want to disclose in the ad for the property that there is no bath upstairs for those two bedrooms. Has two baths but both are downstairs. Minor inconvenience.

Roaring Creek Cabin is exactly that! A beautiful cabin right next to a roaring creek. So serene and peaceful with a beautiful trees all around. Our dog loved playing in the creek. And we loved relaxing at the fire pit next to the creek. If you’re looking to get away from it all, this is the place to stay!

Another Great Stay!

We had a great time visiting around Ashe County. We love this cabin and the creek. We set around the firepit each night looking at stars while the sound of the creek worked its magic on our blood pressure.

Nice quiet property. I thought it was closer to Boone but we worked it out. A real grill would be nice. Loved the creek and front porch swing. Loved being notified of the early option for check in.

We had a great time at the cabin and hiking nearby Elk Knob and Mount Jefferson. It was great to rest in the hot tub after a day on the trails. Roaring Creek is our home away from home in the mountains, highly recommend it!

Lovely property

We enjoyed the privacy of the property. The mountain stream was wonderful to listen to. We especially liked the hot tub each evening when we came back and we got lots of pictures as the property was beautifully landscaped.

Great Cabin

The cabin is very nice. Decor was outstanding. Roaring stream was pleasant to listen to and photograph. The mountain scenery was beautiful with the fall colors. Enjoyed our stay even with all the driving to get anywhere.
