This cabin is tucked away and offers privacy on 12 acres to explore with a large covered front porch overlooking your private Native trout stream. Only 4.5 miles to Blue Ridge Parkway, “Up The Creek” is centrally located close to Boone, West Jefferson, Wilkesboro and Blowing Rock. The property has hiking trails, crystal clear creek for swimming and a nice deck built on creek with grill, also fire pit. Great getaway if peace and tranquility is what you seek but still close enough to Explore surrounding towns.

Loved staying at up the creek. The host thought of everything. The kitchen was fully equipped and they even had bowls for our pup. Definitely recommend.

This was a perfect spot for a weekend getaway. It’s a beautiful cabin with a stream out back. The cabin is very clean and well stocked. We would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful secluded location with lots of trees and a magnificent outdoor porch overlooking a creek. The cabin was beautiful, decorated with the outdoors in mind. It was sparkling clean, quiet and restful. The owner was communicative and made check in and check out simple. We would definitely stay again. I give it a 10 out of 10!

Our stay was one of the best experiences we’ve had. The cabin was beautiful and perfect for our family of 4. The creek was a lot of fun, we visited it every day after our day of adventure in Boone and Banner Elk. The porch was nice for relaxing and listening to the waterfalls. Our host Renee made check in super easy.

A very cozy and comfortable cabin overlooking a beautiful accesible stream nestled not far from Boon, NC. Great escape if you are looking for some peace while still having access to the areas major attractions. The driveway is fairly steep but very manageable under normal weather conditions. I would probably recommend a 4 wheel drive if there is any snow. From my experience the driveway is not uncommon for many mountain homes. The home has everything you need just bring your own groceries and coffee and then you can enjoy your own little private retreat. I would book again.

Amazing Experience

House was perfect size. Loved the creek- kids spent the majority of the time floating down and catching small fish and bugs. Well stocked kitchen too.

Such a peaceful retreat

Cozy little cabin at the end of a long gravel road. It was great floating in the tubes down on the creek. Both us and our dog had a blast! Will definitely return.

Perfect Getaway

We loved our stay at the cabin Up the Creek! It was so peaceful and cozy, clean and had everything we would need. We had fun adventuring down at the creek, roasting marshmallows, and enjoying quiet evenings on the back deck. We would absolutely visit again!

Peaceful creek cabin

Absolutely beautiful cabin that is so cozy and secluded in the woods. Loved sitting on the porch listening to the creek! Loved the picnic table on porch and enjoyed our meals on porch. Super clean and loved the decor and all the wood work pieces in the cabin. Loved enjoying the creek, waterfall, etc. Hope to go back! You will not be disappointed.

Amazing waterfall

This was our second time staying here, and it won't be our last! My family loves walking to the waterfall. The sound of the creek and the privacy at this cabin is rejuvenating. We can't wait to come back next time!

Lovely cabin

The cabin was set deep in the woods yet convenient to Boone. It was charming and tastefully decorated. We were cozy and warm despite the cold and enjoyed our stay.

Up The Creek

We had such a peaceful stay at Up The Creek and Renee was the perfect host. The sound of the creek, the beautiful fall colors and the fall flowers that greeted us when we walked in the cabin are the memories that we brought home with us after our stay in this lovely cabin.

Great Stay in the Mountains

Everything was great. Cabin was very clean and well-equipped. I liked the layout of the cabin and the outdoor space was amazing (huge back porch listening to the stream, fire area etc.) It was nice to have hiking trails on the property especially if you are travelling with a pet that needs some exercise. My dog loved the waterfall hike. Just some info for future travelers, the driveway is steep and curvy. My AWD did great but could be intimidating to some others. You are out in the woods; keep that in mind for food, medicine and supplies. The cabin is built on a hill and the trip down to the stream is steep. None of this bothered me and I thought the place was great but I thought this info would be helpful to future guests. I would definitely come back!
