Moonshadow: A New Modern Getaway to Rest, Relax and Enjoy The Forest

Moonshadow is a sleek and charming, two-story woodland cabin nestled amidst a picturesque hillside, offering a cozy and eclectic retreat. This idyllic cabin provides all the modern comforts and amenities of a larger home while maintaining the intimate appeal of a smaller space.  This cabin is situated close to our very first authentic Canopy Crew Treehouse, "Sylvan Float."  We highly recommend booking the two together for larger groups who have some folks who want to remain grounded and others who want to explore what it's like to live up in a tree!

The main floor boasts a warm and inviting living room and a well-appointed artsy tiny kitchen. There is a loft above with a queen sized bed for sleeping and a cozy but still lavish bathroom with a sink, flush toilet and marble shower.

Moondshadow is conveniently situated just off of Nada Tunnel Road, mere minutes away from major trailheads and world-class climbing spots like Military Wall and Left Flank. Its prime location grants easy access to the breathtaking hikes and exhilarating climbs found in the renowned Red River Gorge and Natural Bridge State Park.

Staying in a Red River Gorgeous Cabin is truly a one-of-a-kind experience.  Since all of our hand-built cabins are unique, we wish to inform you of their individual features so you can come prepared to enjoy your stay to the fullest.

Full Bathroom:  Featuring marble shower, flush toilet and stone bowl sink

Compact Kitchen:  4-burner stovetop, half-size fridge, cookware, microwave, toaster, eating utensils, dish rack, kitchen sink, cutting board, heat and air conditioning and ample lighting.  Interior seating in the kitchen is limited.

Living Room Area:  Features a couch downstairs that looks out onto the deck which has relaxing swing-seating, which overlooks a wooded hillside and a few other small cabins.

Utilities:  Full electricity, plumbing, heat, air conditioning and flush toilet

Other Details:  Amazing all-natural location, parking for 1 car, easy access to exceptional hiking trails and climbing areas, including several within walking distance.

We are happy to host pets at Moonshadow and ask for an additional $50 (plus tax) non-refundable pet cleaning fee for the first pet.  Any additional pets are $25 (plus tax).

Linens are always provided for this cabin.  We will provide pillows, blankets, bedsheets and bath towels.  We will also provide kitchen towels, toilet paper, hand and dish soap.

Firewood is also available upon request.  For $25 we will deliver firewood to your fire pit.  Please be sure to mark on your reservation if you would like firewood delivery.  Please be sure to put out all fires COMPLETELY when you are finished.
