About this space
Take it easy at this newly renovated, modern, unique and tranquil waterfront getaway.
The space
This is a massive newly gut renovated 3,460 sq foot waterfront home that sits on Ellicott Creek with a large seasonal pool and deck.
The following is the layout:
FIRST FLOOR
Living Room 1:
Two couches, decorative fireplace and Roku smart HD TV
Living Room 2 opens into sun room:
Couch/sofa and decorative fireplace with a work desk and chair tucked into the corner of the sun room
Kitchen:
Open concept flows into dining and living rooms
Granite counters
Island with two barstools
Dishwasher
Whirlpool stainless Side by side refrigerator with ice maker and water dispenser
Samsung convection+ stainless cooktop and airfry stove
Built in microwave
Coffee station
Dining Room:
Seating for 6 opens into kitchen and living room
Garage:
Storage only. NO PARKING INSIDE THE GARAGE. We keep construction materials, pool equipment and kayaks in the garage. You’re welcome to use the kayaks.
OUTDOOR SPACE:
In ground pool
Dock on Ellicott Creek (suitable for boating and kayaking however beware that it is not maintained and off limits for liability purposes - anyone using the dock assumes the risk; the dock is being disclosed as present but not an included amenity with the booking)
Kayaks - one adult plastic in single kayak; one inflatable adult double and one kids kayak

Poolside Loungers for two and two anti gravity chairs

Queen bed and walk in closet
Also on the second floor is a Catwalk wraparound area that is accessible by a spiral straircase and surrounds main living room below (also accessible by main regular stairway).
Guest access
Guests have full private access to the entire home, grounds, pool (seasonal only June-august), with access to creek in backyard for kayaking. The garage is not included. You may park in the driveway but not inside the garage. We store flooring, pool equipment and kayaks in the garage. There is one closet in the master bedroom that is locked and also off limits. Guests do not have access to the locked owners closet. The basement is raw and unfinished. Guests do not have basement access.
No part of this property is shared with anyone.
ID REQUIRED
Guests are given access to the home only after providing a valid drivers license or government issued ID through the messenger platform. All adult guests are required to provide ID. This is required for compliance with town ordinances for short term rental homes.
Other things to note
GUESTS
The guest count is very strict and must include any visitors that you plan on having over to the house.
GARAGE
No parking inside the garage. It is owners storage only. We also have kayaks that you’re welcome to use.
PETS
We are pet friendly but only for responsible pet owners and with approval. We charge $150 per pet per stay. This is a fee additional to the regular cleaning fee. If you have a pet that is not a dog, please be specific.
KIDS
Although we are child friendly, this house is not childproof. Please monitor children at all times. There are some pieces of furniture that could potentially be knocked over and cause harm if not careful. The cabinets do not have locks. There is a swimming pool and open water creek, both in the backyard, that do not have a gate or lock. By reserving your stay in our home, you agree that you understand this home is not childproof and we will not be held liable for any injury. Children under the age of 18 are not to be left unattended in the home at any time.
SWIMMING POOL
The swimming pool is not heated. It is available seasonally from June to August. We cannot gaurantee weather conditions or water temperature.
CREEK
The backyard opens to open water. We are on a deep creek. The creek is suitable for boating and kayaking. If you plan on bringing your boat, please let us know in advance; the dock is not available to guests without specific pre-approval.

ID REQUIRED PRE-CHECK IN
You will get a code for the front door. This is only provided upon receipt of your drivers license or government issued ID. Your name must match the name on the reservation. We require ID for all adult guests part of the reservation.
CAMERAS
We have two outdoor cameras, on in the front entrance and on the back deck. They video and audio record 24/7 and are monitored.
Tampering with or disabling the cameras will result in immediate cancellation of your reservation without a refund and a fine of $500 in addition to complete loss of reservation payment.
HOUSE RULE VIOLATIONS
Violating the house rules, not checking out timely at 10am, smoking, leaving cigarette butts anywhere on the grounds of the property, having unauthorized guests and any other house rule violation will result in a $500 penalty as well as any additional actual expenses related to damage, cleaning, etc.
