Owner was amazing with communication! Also had a small emergency with my sister’s family and she allowed them to stay with my family. There was an odd odor in the downstairs bathroom, hopefully it can be addressed and fixed for the next tenants. Over all the house was comfy and welcoming! Would definitely stay again!

close to simon cancer center

This was a excellent property only minutes from the simon cancer center which is why we were in town. Plenty of room to sleep lots of people. The house had lots of off street parking.

Very nice people to work with

Lots of room and the people you rent from are very nice, nobody bothers you, the washer and dryer is a big plus, if you stay bring your own pans if you plan on cooking the ones available are in very poor shape, a small box of trash bags will help, (we only had two for the week)there’s a towel for each bedroom but you can wash them and be fine, they do have some laundry soap and suave shampoo and conditioner in bathrooms, I would recommend it’s close to a lot of shopping and events close by, over all a pretty good stay.

Our experience with this property was shocking and deeply concerning. Upon arrival, we were immediately alerted by a kind neighbor that homeless squatters were living in the garage. Sure enough, there were clear signs of unauthorized occupants on the property. The carpets were heavily stained, the furniture was worn and dirty, and the home looked nothing like the photos shown in the listing. The description is inaccurate and misleading in nearly every way.The surrounding area did not feel safe—there were homeless individuals on or near the property, and we did not feel comfortable staying even one night. We contacted the property manager immediately with our concerns, but they refused to call us back or take the situation seriously. Despite the obvious safety risks and false advertising, the host refused to issue a refund and was entirely unhelpful.We ended up contacting the police and leaving the property that same day for our safety. It’s unacceptable that this listing remains active given the circumstances. Travelers should avoid this property at all costs—it is unsafe, misrepresented, and managed with complete disregard for guests’ wellbeing.

Overall this property accomodated the needs of our stay. However, it was not very clean and didnt have some necessities that one would think you'd have when hosting a large group of people. It was in the heat of summer but the upstairs was extremely hot. There were no garbages in the bathroom, and when we looked under the sink there was cat (or some sort of animal) feces. It had been there a long time given how harsld it was. That tells mw the house has not been properly cleaned. It also seemed as though the kitchen and main kiving space had not been swept, as the floor was not clean.

READ THE REVIEWS: It IS too good to be true.

This rental felt like we had just missed a plague of locusts, hurricane, or other natural disaster and the host was trying to make it work. It was NOT CLEAN. You shouldn't be able to see the wipe marks moving the dirt around or be leery of taking off your shoes to walk to the bed. We had flagged this property before the earlier review posted. Our experience mirrored theirs. Lots of bedrooms. Lots of beds (though what was offered as queens were doubles). Lots of space. Much of that space is because of a lack of furniture. Most of the furniture in the pictures is not in the house. One towel per bed in most cases. No towels, wash clothes or trashcans in the bathrooms. Like the guests before us, we, too, bought wash clothes and left them behind. One chair at the dining room table for 8. Mismatched bedding that had visible dirty spots/stains on at least 2 beds. Cracking ceiling in the living room that is dropping plaster on to the couch and coffee table. The lack of window coverings in common areas, hallways between bathrooms and bedrooms, stairway and even at least one bedroom was a MAJOR PROBLEM as we were travelling with four 15 year old girls. The good news is the urban raccoons visiting the trash outside the door seem as interested in us as we were in them. Long story short: unless you are a bunch of frat boys, you will likely be uncomfortable by the level of cleanliness and lack of basic "amenities" of this rental.

More like camping with late night scares

To start we were left one towel per bed, not per person, no washcloths or hand towels. PM asked up to check the dryer where we found a few more towels. When I told the PM we’d be buying washcloths they offered to reimburse me for them. All but one bed had incomplete sheet sets. Many had flat sheets used as fitted. Second night two men came to the back door at 11:30 pm, frightening us, to take out the trash and they proceeded to break into the detached garage to get some random carpet from it. PM had emailed at 10 or so to tell us they were coming however I didn’t get the email. Scared those that were still up and they were considering calling 911. Appliances appeared quite old and not very functional Stovetop was dirty, oven door had a broken handle and fridge was missing a lot of shelves and ice maker and water dispenser did not work. Many of the overhead lights and lamps did not work. One fan in rooms didn’t work. Shower curtains were half hung and dirty. There were a lot of windows without any curtains or blinds. For a house that sleeps over 10 people dishes and glasses qty was lacking. Pots and pans were of terrible quality. Overall for a “completely remodeled” home it lacked in many areas. The location worked for our group but we did some cleaning and washed towels to make our stay better. Overall not my usual VRBO experience
