Country Farm House with magnificent view of Peaks of Otter and surrounding mountains located in Bedford County, VA.

Single family home, privately owned available as vacation rental in quiet neighborhood 5 miles North of Bedford just off Route 122.

Features and/or includes; furnished kitchen with small appliances, large Great Room, dining rooms, large breakfast room, two bedrooms with queen size beds in each on first floor, master bath with larger shower, washer and dryer, full bath with tub and shower on main level. New heat pump.

Second floor has two (2) small bedrooms, full size bed in room on left, two twin beds in room on right, with low ceilings and half bath between rooms.

Covered front porch and garage with sliding glass doors facing the mountains, large level yard and plenty of parking. Patio with tables and chairs and propane fire pit.

A great get-away or have a small wedding out door beneath the mountain views.

The house was spacious with a great layout for our girls weekend away. The two bedrooms and bathrooms downstairs are roomy. The half bath upstairs was a nice plus. We really enjoyed the farmhouse feel. The kitchen had everything we needed. The outdoor areas are perfect for relaxing and enjoying the amazing views of sunset and sunrise. The large yard would be great for kids too.

We love this house. It's nostalgic of Grandmas farm house, it's clean and comfortable. It's sits on a quiet hill with amazing views of the mountains. The owners are very sweet, and let our kids fish in the pond at the bottom of the hill.

This was the perfect home for a family gathering. Yes, the views are stunning! The house is very close to quaint Bedford and the D-Day Memorial. It is clean and well cared for. The extra amenities were appreciated and helpful. The gas fire pit was a nightly center point and the gas grill was immaculate and in excellent working condition. The hosts were gracious and very helpful. I enjoyed meeting this amazing couple and they were available to answer any questions. Absolute GEM!

LUCOM Graduation Trip

Our family of five adults stayed for my son’s graduation from LUCOM. Preston and Judy were super friendly and kind. The property is gorgeous! It was the perfect place to stay for us. The house had all the comforts of home. It was wonderful living in the country for a few days and taking many beautiful photos. Highly recommend! If we ever make it back to Lynchburg, we will stay here again.

Liberty Graduation 2025

The property is beautiful and the house is a darling old farmhouse that was so cozy and homey. The hosts are wonderful people, with whom we had the privilege of visiting with during our stay. We stayed here for our son’s graduation from Liberty University, which is a 30 minute drive from the property. Our only regret is that we couldn’t stay longer.
