A corta distancia en Marina de Robbie a mano el sábalo, el Museo de buceo y el Teatro del Mar alimentan. 45 minutos a Parque Nacional de los Everglades. 1 hora para Zoo Miami. 2 horas en coche escénica a Key West - hay que ver!

Beautiful home in perfect location

This townhouse was so much more than we had expected. It was perfect for our little after-xmas getaway. Very quiet and yet close to everything. Thank you, Greg & Carolyn, for this home away from home.

Comfortable place to stay in Key Largo

My family of 4 stayed here the week before Christmas for 3 days for our scuba diving vacation. We liked the bedrooms upstairs (plenty of room for all to sleep!) with 1 full bathroom. Beds were comfortable, upstairs bathroom spacious. Living room on main floor had 2 comfortable couches, with a rocking chair. Large eat in kitchen with nice appliances. Another full bath on 1st floor was convenient. Large fronch porch was nice to leave our wet scuba gear that didn't bother neighbors. Carolyn & Greg were fantastic. Living room tv went out 2nd day and Greg brought a new one. The lagoon being out the back door was great for kids. Pool behind us was being worked on, so we walked down the path to other pool, which was nice. We enjoyed our stay here and would definitely consider staying here again.

Beautiful community, cute and cozy condo with everything you could possibly need.

The condo community itself is beautifully landscaped and well kept, with PLENTY of things to do ON site. This particular condo is adorable. Light and airy and perfectly situated directly in front of the pool and the saltwater lagoon. Hallelujah -- no bored kids! The condo was well stocked with everything you could possibly need. We were so at home here. The owners, Gregory and Carolyn, were very accommodating and incredibly helpful. They thought of everything.I could not have been happier with this condo and this community. I want a do over!!

A huge disappointment - we moved out!

We stayed just one night and then moved out. The unit is situated in Kawama Yacht Club which is an old, shabby and unappealing environment. The main features of the swimming pool and lagoon were unattractive. The lagoon looked foul; certainly not for swimming. The unit itself was small, particularly the bedrooms. The second bedroom was very cramped with a huge open hanging wardrobe alongside the double bed. However, on the positive side, the unit had been renovated with a new kitchen, new bathrooms and soft furnishings. The outside area needed updating and was quite below par. The 4 rusty bikes were not as expected. We moved out directly and found vastly better accommodation. Unfortunately, we had to forfeit our rental payments but we could not have stayed there happily.

Excellent stay at Key Largo!

A very comfortable, clean and enjoyable place to stay while visiting Key Largo. Everything is thought through to make your stay more comfortable. Thank you Carolyn for recommending Theater of the Sea, we had the BEST time!

Would Definitely Go Back

The condo was comfortably appointed and had everything we needed. We liked the pool that was further away from the condo best. There was a beautiful path to walk around the pools and lagoon. The location was quiet and secure. Very relaxing. It is perfect for a small family or two couples. We woild definitely go back.

This was our families 4th year staying here and as years before it was great! The new renovation was a great change for sure...made for a lot more space to move around in the kitchen and the eating table was perfect for our size family. We'll be there again next year for sure...making it a yearly family thing!!

Two ladies

We were 2 ladies on a getaway holiday. We had a wonderful,relaxed stay at this condo. It was clean and comfortable. We really enjoyed the lagoon our last day there while we relaxed before leaving early the next morning. Carolyn met us there with keys and friendly hospitality. They even supplied coffee and condiments. Being two ladies alone, we felt quite safe in this gated community. We were close to several restaurants and attractions.

Nice Key Largo condo by lagoon

Great Condo with nice responsive owners. Ability to use pool, lagoon, bikes, and fishing polls are a great add-on! Relatively clean and efficient property. Nice TVs, and other appliances. Close to Everglades, Miami, and Keywest. Uncomfortable mattresses and pillows. Owners may consider investing in better quality ones. It was hard to sleep for kids and adults. Towels may need to be updated.

Fourth Year in Paradise

We just spent our fourth year in paradise at Carolyn and Greg's condo. Each year they renovate a part of the condo. This year they redid the kitchen and the first floor. The redesigned kitchen is much more usable with more counter space and new appliances. It also makes for more usable space and a larger feel. The tile floor that looks like reclaimed wood is both beautiful and functional. The location is perfect just steps from the pool and beach lagoon. Swim the lagoon or feed the many varied fish. Walk to the jetty for great ocean views and sunsets. Great place to keep warm during the winter!

A Wonderful Month....

We had a wonderful month. This unit is recently renovated and is very nice. It is always clean and ready for our arrival. The owners are very helpful. It is located in an area that you can travel to the other Keys and to the Everglades. We had a relaxing month, located right at the pool. My husband loves to go to the jetty to fish, you can also sign onto a fishing boat for one half day or the full day. There are plenty of restaurants nearby.

A very nice condo

This is a very nice condo. The owners did a lot of renovation recently, such as a new tile floor. The furniture and decorations are very well matched with the environment. Everything was well prepared. Viewing the sunrise at the jetty is a very good experience. We had a surprisingly good view when we got to the jetty at about 10:00 am. The water on both sides (the ocean and the bay) is very calm and tide is low. The views are incredible.

Great Vacation....loved it!!!

This was our 3rd year staying at the same unit. We love it so much. The owners are great and very helpful. The unit is always clean and ready for you and your family to walk in and feel as if your right at home. The kids loved fishing at the jetty and we enjoyed the sunsets at the same time. We brought our bikes this year, and was really glad we did. I'd recommend this unit to everyone, cause we love it and I'm sure you'd love it too....

Perfect Location within Complex

First of all, the owners could not have been nicer. They addressed all email quickly and just open their home to us. Their townhome was stocked with paper products, spices, sheets, bath towels, beach towels, condiments, etc. Most impressive was the location within the complex - right across from the pool and lagoon. The weather was perfect too - in the low to mid 80s everyday. I highly recommend.

Wonderful time here - grew on us more and more

We loved this place. Rustic, home from home. Everything you need. If you want modern, sparkling accommodation then this is not your place. If you want a place next to a beautiful lagoon that you can swim in and lovely surroundings, with great walk to the marina. Really quiet - well away from the main road. We'd love to come back one day. Greg and Carolyn were really friendly and helpful. Thank you!

The Keys

Nice place, had everything we needed. Nice complex to bike or walk around, felt very safe, pleasant surroundings and landscaping. Lagoon was nice to look at, and seeing the fish and iguanas was neat. Close to lots of good restaurants and to the State Park. It was also nice to walk out your back door and be right at the pool and the lagoon. Had lounge chairs both places, with palm trees next to the lagoon.

Home Away From Home

Our family of 4 (including 2 young boys) visited for a week in June. Not the ideal time to visit, as it was hot and humid, but we had a great time anyway. The complex is very nice - not super fancy, but the pool was very clean, and security was both friendly and attentive. Parking was a cinch right in front of the unit. The unit itself was quite charming, very relaxed atmosphere and beacy decor. There were a few small maintenance things that I left for the owners - not a big deal. It's not pristine - there's some broken furniture in the closet, for example, but everything worked that needed to, and it really felt sort of "cottage-y", which makes me feel much more on vacation than a modern, fancy decor. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed except our own food. Linens were provided. Fantastic pool toys. The king size bed was extremely comfortable - made us want to get a new mattress at home! The location is really ideal. Maybe 25 feet to pool and lagoon, 5 minute walk to tennis courts. We didn't make it out to the jetty - we were just too busy. The lagoon is great if you are used to ponds and lakes - really neat to snorkel around it. Don't miss snorkeling at Pennekamp! We also went to Theatre of the Sea in Islamorada and swam with dolphins - truly amazing! All in all, we loved it. We already are discussing a potential return next year.

Fun even without sun

We rented this property with our two sons (10 and 13) and another couple and their son (14). We all had a blast! We especially enjoyed being within a few feet of the pool and the lagoon. We enjoyed seeing the resident iguana, as well as the puffer and parrotfish in the lagoon. Even though it was overcast most of our stay, we had plenty to do and were never bored. I would highly recommend this property to almost anyone. The owners were there to greet us upon arrival and were very helpful with any questions we had. Thanks Greg and Carolyn for a wonderful time!

Just like home!

I stayed here the 1st week of April with my two kids aged 10 & 13. Owner met us upon arrival, the place was clean and tidy. He had area guides and coupon books available for our use and told us to make ourselves at home with whatever we needed. Told us about a couple of local eating spots and what reefs to go snorkeling at. There were bikes for the kids and I to use as well as tennis raquets and fishing poles. Clean beach and bath towels in the closet, coffe maker, and all the kitchen utensils and dished we would need. The time we spent at the yacht club was very nice. Fished off of the private jetti, swam at the beach, snorkeled in the saltwater lagoon located right out the back door (with the tarpon, parrot fish, angels and snappers). We swam in all of the pools, fed the fish in the lagoon, played tennis, and even had a picnic on one of the floating docks in the lagoon! Oh yeah, the kids loved seeing the wild green iguanas that live there. This pictures on the vrbo site are just like the place is, no gimmicks. You can view the property on the satellite version of google earth and see everything Im talking about as far as the jetti, lagoon, marina, and pools. Overall, the place was great! Nothing to fancy or too shabby, but just felt like home to us. Compared to a hotel room, which I originally planned, this was a 1000 times better!!! Conveniently located to everything in Key Largo and just a short ride to the other Keys. Great time, I would recommend it to a friend!

Great Location

The property is well situated between Miami and Key West ... a great get-away, but close to many other tourist spots. The property was presented as described on the website and the owners were quite accomodating and accessible. We had a great family vacation. T. W.

Perfect stay for a family

Great two bedroom home with lots of amenities. Great pool and lagoon right out the back door. The kids spent most waking hours swimming and snorkeling in the lagoon. Kawama was a great resort and friends stopped for the day to enjoy the lagoon as well and we cooked out on the gas grill. Short walk to ocean with fishing and snorkeling. House had everything you need, and more. Shopping and restaurants nearby. National Park nearby. The owner Greg met us there and gave us a quick review of the area and house. We had a great stay; would highly recommend.

The listing was very accurate and our family had an amazing vacation. We plan on staying there again in the near future! With younger kids it was great, cause we didn't even have to leave to have a great time. The lagoon and the pool was the kids favorite and it was right outside our porch door! The guys went on 2 charters and caught a ton of Mia Mia. All the restaurants that were closest to us were very good, and Mrs. Mac's Kicthen was a great place for a really good breakfast. Overall we had a great time and can't wait to stay there again, and the listing was perfect; I was worried about the Townhouse not being like I seen on the computer, but it was even better than I thought. We thank the owners for having us and can't wait to visit again!!!!! Shasta

Relaxing getaway with the family

Our family really enjoyed our stay here. We have 3 children of various ages (9,12, & 16). They all had a great time. We drove up to the villa and parked right out front. There is a nice patio in front with a barbecue. There eat in kitchen with a large table and counter seating. The family room is very spacious with two leather sofa in front of the flat screen tv. The view from family room is the pool and lagoon. There is a screened in patio with a table and chairs. They have equiped the unit with boogie boards, inflated tubes, bikes, and fishing poles. We all slept very comfortably. The area has many fun things to so. The owners were really nice and provided great suggestions on local restaurants. We would definitely stay here again. It's a great Key Largo location.

Great location

We stayed at this place in the beginning of March and it was very nice. My 2 year old daughter loved the lagoon and the pool as our balcony was only 20 feet from them and the grounds are gorgeous. The master bedroom was cooler than the other bedroom so one room was too cold and the other a bit too warm but nothing major. Perhaps a fan in the room could help, wink wink to the owners :) The owners were there when we got to the place and gave us some good eating recommendations. We enjoyed our stay and would like to thank the owners for a great and hassle free experience.

Location, location, location. That says it all. We are located in the heart of Key Largo, close to everything, yet far enough away from the 'big city' to be able to relax and get away from it all.

Kawama Yacht Club has a resort feel to it. There are 2 pools, a lagoon with beach entry and platforms to jump off of, tennis courts, a playground, an ocean side beach and a jetty to walk along or fish off of. You feel like you are in your own world as you relax and unwind.
