Come relax on your second story front porch that wraps around the home to give you views of the pool with screen enclosure, banana trees and a small tropical garden. This beach house retreat will envelop you in the joys of southwest Florida. Located on a quiet cul-de-sac in the waterfront community of Baywood Village, almost directly on the city limits of Tarpon Springs and Palm Harbor. Downtown Tarpon Springs is a 5 minute drive away where Greek culture is bustling and the old school Florida feel is alive and well. If it's the beach you're looking for, Honeymoon Island, Fred Howard Park and Crystal Beach are all within 15 minutes of the home and offer limitless relaxation and water activities alike. Clearwater Beach is a 25 minute drive away. The quaint and beautiful Dunedin is just minutes away as well with amazing dining and sunset piers.

Just 35 minutes from Tampa International Airport!

Very welcoming. Worked for our needs. Was very close (less than 5 minutes actually) to the Innisbrook golf course for the New Year’s Eve golf event put on by under armour. Would stay here again.

Peaceful Paradise!

We had the most amazing time during our stay. The pool was everything we were looking for. This property is spacious and clean. The owner is very responsive when it comes to communication and overall it’s a great choice to utilize for you home away from home. Will definitely be booking again.

Family trip

When we arrived it was very clean. The house was set up perfect easy accessible to shopping, restaurants and the beach everything we were hoping for . first time for grandkids to see the ocean. We all had a wonderful time. The kids loved the pool and we will spend time there again maybe next year!

Anniversary getaway

The house had great theming, very beachy and very clean. It was really relaxing. Pool was a bit chilly this early in the season, couldn't swim much. But other than that we had a great time. Awesome neighborhood

Avocado House - Awesome stay

We had a great experience at the Avocado house. The house was clean, had comfortable bedrooms, was in a nice location close to several beaches and the pool was well maintained. The kitchen was well equipped and the gas grill was basically brand new. Overall, my family and I would recommend staying here.

Avocado House

This house was great to stay for a week. It felt very home like, was comfortable, and very clean. I liked that it was in a nice, quiet neighborhood. Beaches weren’t too far of a drive, so was a good option to stay if you don’t want to pay on the beach prices. The pool area was definitely a favorite of my family’s to hang out.

Amazing!!

Our family of 4 stayed at the Avocado House for 9 days and we simply can’t say enough positive words about our trip. The house was very clean and felt like home our entire trip. Our messages were always answered very promptly and couldn’t have asked for kinder owners! The pool was refreshing and the patio furniture was great and also very clean and well taken care of. I would highly recommend if you’re in this area to stay at the Avocado House because you will not be disappointed!! We will definitely be returning guests at this property!!

Avacado house

We enjoyed our stay at this home. We found the design of the house (staying on the top level) not as conducive to outdoor living (not enough light outside to BBQ after the sun went down, extra work to carry food outside/down the stairs) but we were out and about most of the time anyways. It was a quiet location which we appreciated. Our host John was very easy to work with, very quick to address any issues that came up. Overall a positive experience.

Sun, Surf, and Dolphins

Our family had an amazing time staying at the Avocado House! It is conveniently located in the heart of the Gulf coast. Very easy to get to Honeymoon Island and Clearwater beach as well as the Clearwater Marine aquarium. My son was able to get two days of surfing in at the north beach on Honeymoon Island, while I hung out in the shallows and got great shells. Also a short drive to Dunedin to visit the local Farmer's market and very convenient to shopping. We had busy sun filled days and it was a dream to come back home to our comfy house and full kitchen. Lots of great dinners and swimming in the salt water pool, with a rinse off shower by the pool. Can't wait to get back to this home away from home!

The Avocado House is the Best!!

My family and I (my husband and our little under 2, plus our fur baby) thoroughly enjoyed The Avocado house! We stayed for a week and had such a blast! John and Alyssa were both amazing and so sweet. If we had any questions or issues at all they were quick to respond, went out of their way to solve it instantly, and John took the time to provide us with plenty of great local recommendations! The pool was fantastic, the outdoor space was perfect for hanging out (either by the pool or on the wrap around deck) and we spent many nights comfortably watching movies and cooking dinner together. The house was outfitted perfectly for a comfortable stay and more than accommodated us. We had a wonderful time and can’t wait to come back!

great place to stay

John made the entire process of booking, changing dates and communicating so easy. He was extremely fast to reply to all of my questions. The house was clean and well equipped with everything you would need. John even had beach chairs and beach towels we were able to use. He had a fully stocked coffee and tea bar. The kitchen had cleaning products, paper products and even foil. The neighborhood was quiet and the house was close to many popular tourist spots. All three generations of us had an awesome stay at his Avocado house. Highly recommend.

A Perfect Family Getaway at the Avocado House

Our stay at the Avocado House in Palm Harbor, Florida, was nothing short of amazing. From the moment we arrived, it felt like a home away from home—but with all the fun and beauty of a dream vacation.The pool area was absolutely phenomenal. It became the heart of our trip—where memories were made, laughter echoed, and the kids (ages 1 to 17!) spent endless hours splashing, swimming, and simply enjoying themselves. It’s rare to find a place that entertains every age so effortlessly, but this home delivered.The house itself had everything we needed—thoughtfully stocked, incredibly clean, and full of charm. John, our host, was outstanding: responsive, helpful, and always just a message away. His attention to detail and care for our experience truly made a difference.Beyond the home, Palm Harbor offers so much to explore. With beautiful beaches just minutes away and a variety of local attractions, there was never a dull moment. But honestly, the comfort and joy of the house made it tempting to just stay in and relax.I can’t recommend the Avocado House enough—whether you're traveling with a big family like ours or just looking for a peaceful escape.
