THIS WAS BY FAR THE WORST LODGING EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD. One star is far too generous for what we experienced with this property and its owner.Our reservation was canceled by email the morning we were already traveling. Because we were on the road, I did not see the cancellation until we were nearly at the property—with two children, two pets, and a car full of supplies for what was supposed to be a New Year’s Eve stay in Atlanta.Imagine a family arriving for a vacation, exhausted from travel and preparation, after having paid all fees—including pet fees—only to have the rental canceled at the last minute by the host. Finding alternative accommodations that would accept pets on such short notice was extremely difficult, and we were forced to spend a significant amount of money replacing food and supplies we had already purchased.Beyond the financial impact, the stress this caused our children, our pets, and ourselves was considerable.DO NOT BOOK THIS PROPERTY. It has the potential to completely ruin your vacation—and it certainly ruined the last week of 2025 for us.
