Lovely, peaceful stay at Owls Nest. Such a beautiful area in a quiet community. Very easy access to hiking, Cashiers, Lake Glenville and overall just at a wonderful place. Property manager is very responsive and kind. We hope to be back with our kiddos and pup next time. Thanks again!

We had a great time. This was our second time staying in Chinquapin but first time in Owls Nest. Such a great community with ALL the amenities!! Owls Nest was fantastic and our host was great. We will be back!!

Great Stay

We had a great stay at Owl's Nest. Great location in Chinquapin with access to so many amenities and amazing trails throughout the property. The house was clean and cozy with all that we needed for a great stay. Will definitely be back!

Very welcoming and spacious home

This Home is located in a beautiful area. It’s welcoming, spacious and comfortable. The Kitchen is very spacious with a six gas burner range but could use additional kitchenware. The home has a nice wine cooler. The deck is small and the seating is a bit weathered BUT it’s enticing and perfectly located to enjoy nature, especially the birds. There’s a bird feeder that attracts an amazing number of beautiful birds It’s entertaining and soothing to watch them gather at the hanging feeder. And the owners welcomes guests to refill the feeder by supplying bird seeds. We reached out to the owner and he was quick to respond to our question/request. We enjoyed our stay.

Top Notch Property

Owls Nest is an extremely nice property. We have been coming to the area for many years and it is the best place we have stayed in and is definitely the best value. The house is well maintained, nicely furnished and has everything you could need. The kitchen is huge, the living room has plenty of seating and the beds are comfortable. We especially enjoyed having our breakfast and coffee on the back porches. Being in the Chinquapin community makes this property even better. After staying here it made us want to purchase a lot and build this same house. There is just so much to do without ever leaving the community. Most of it is within easy walking distance from the house. We enjoyed just walking through the community and hanging out at the clubhouse and lounging in comfortable chairs, taking in the views and great weather. Michael, the host, is great to work with. He is easy to get in touch with, very responsive and pleasant to work with. If we don't end up getting a place of our own we will definitely want to stay here again. It is a top notch property!
