FOR SPRING RENTALS, INQUIRE ABOUT BASEBALL TICKETS!! I have 4 season tickets in the grandstand, under the roof on the 1st baseline. Available for some home games with rental of the unit.
Unit has 3 bedrooms, 2 baths. 2 queen beds, 2 full beds (one is a trundle in the master bedroom which can function as twin or full/queen. There is also a large sectional couch that is comfortable and can sleep another person (or 2 if kids). It is NOT a sofa-bed. But you can see it in the pictures. Master bed has new Tempurpedic mattress. Unit was painted in July, 2024, and has new vinyl wood floors throughout.
Condo is on ground floor of a gated property, with fully equipped kitchen (including spices, and basic condiments). Full sized refrigerator/freezer with icemaker. Has a new Kitchen Aid dishwasher and a disposal. Keurig coffee maker with a variety of pods supplied. All paper products, towels, and linens supplied.
Has a pleasant private "porch" area with adirondack chairs and small side table. Great for morning coffee or afternoon glass of your favorite beverage.
Pool in season.
Tennis/pickleball court.
Easy walk to Ole Miss baseball and football games.
Separate laundry room with washer and dryer and all cleaning supplies stocked.
Wireless internet on site.
Ceiling fans in all rooms.
Cooler, small propane grill, and folding chairs available for use.
Just off highway 6/278 with easy access to campus, the Square, or the business district of Oxford. Baseball stadium is about a 10 minute walk. Campus about 3-4 minutes past that up Old Taylor Road.
Easy parking (1 or 2 cars - unassigned parking spots) and keyless entry with code that is supplied a day or two before arrival.
I also provide a "welcome" basket of snacks, red and white wine, sodas, and some other things to make your arrival more fun!!

I have deep, life-long ties to Oxford and Ole Miss. My mother was raised in Oxford and her parents both were professors at Ole Miss. I graduated from both undergraduate and law school there, and taught classes at the Law School for 14 years thereafter. I have owned this property for more than 20 years and it still is used primarily for my mom's returns to visit her hometown and for gatherings of my extended family. We frequently have spent Thanksgivings and significant birthdays here. I love Oxford.
Por qué escogió este alojamiento
The Turnberry location is so great, primarily because it is within walking distance to the campus - especially if you're a baseball or football fan. I have been a baseball season ticket holder since 2004, and I LOVE not having to secure parking for the weekend games. In the spring, if you rent my unit on home baseball weekends, I may well have baseball tickets available for your use. Please ask!!

Turnberry is unique amongst properties in Oxford in that it has so many added "bonuses." Those include the pool (during season), the large gazebo that is available for all to use, and the tennis court and pickleball court (same court). There are also general use charcoal grills throughout the property which make evening cook-outs quick and easy. The property is also gated, allowing an added element of security during your stay. Parking is unassigned, but generally available in proximity to the breezeway entry to my building. Parking is not covered. My unit has been given an overall "facelift" prior to the start of the 2024 football season: paint throughout, new floors throughout (vinyl wood to replace old carpet), new bedding (and some new beds), new outdoor furniture on the porch, new dishwasher... And I love leaving my guests a "welcome basket" filled with fun things to eat, drink, and celebrate the Rebels with!! If there is anything in particular you'd like to have waiting for you when you arrive, let me know and I will try to make that happen!!
