Espléndidas vistas del oeste y magníficas puestas de sol para disfrutar en familia y amigos desde la amplia terraza, sala de estar y comedor, terraza acristalada y cocina de este elegante Cabo. Disfruta del maravilloso ambiente de este plano de planta fácil de vivir con dormitorio en el primer piso, baño, área de lavandería, sala de estar con chimenea y muebles empotrados, gran área de comedor con ventana amplia y mesa de comedor con espacio para 10 personas. Arriba hay dos dormitorios más (tres gemelos y una reina) y un baño con ducha (sin bañera). La propiedad cuenta con increíbles jardines perennes con un camino que conduce a la costa. En el paseo marítimo, hay una isla propiedad de la Asociación del Río Damariscotta, a la que se puede caminar durante la marea baja. La isla es un gran lugar para nadar durante la marea alta. Esta propiedad tiene un sótano con su entrada independiente que está ocupada por el administrador de la propiedad. El administrador de la propiedad trabaja durante el día, y no lo verá a menos que necesite su ayuda. Tenemos tres kayaks y una canoa que son de uso gratuito durante su estadía. Puede hacer arreglos con nuestro administrador de la propiedad (ex empleado de la guardia costera de EE. UU.) Si desea utilizarlos. Nishad was the perfect host. Even though he was out of the country during our stay, any questions I had were promptly answered by the people he left in charge. The house is beautiful and comfortable with plenty of room to spread out. I would give this house more than 5 stars, as it was clean, furnished nicely and had all the amenities you need to enjoy your stay! Thank you for your hospitality, we would definitely stay here again.

Owners and local caretaker Kathleen, were very great communicating everything. House was beautiful and had all the amenities. Individual AC units in each bedroom were a really nice addition on the hot days. Would absolutely recommend this place and would stay again next time I come back home to visit my local Maine family.

Beautiful home. Plenty of room for 3 couples. Spent most of our time on the very large deck. Extremely well stocked kitchen. Comfy beds and linens. No complaints at all and hooe to return.

Fantastic Home!

So glad we came across this home for rent! The location was fantastic and just where we needed and the view from the back deck was breathtaking! The home is very spacious and comfortable! The only constructive criticism I would have is maybe with some of the supplies, there weren't any face cloths and toilet paper was limited, so we went and bought some. Otherwise, totally decked out to accommodate everyone in your family! Thank you very much and we will totally rent here again!!!

Thanks, Lori. I am glad you had a comfortable stay, we enjoyed hosting you. I am sorry that there were no face cloths and that there was not enough toilet paper. Our cleaner normally leaves extra toilet paper in the bathroom closets, and her number is available in our guest book should future guests need to get in touch with her for more supplies. The face cloths should be on your bed when you arrive along with the towels . Do let our cleaner know if supplies are out.

Nice, quiet home set back from the river

We stayed at this property for a wedding because of the great reviews and the distance to everything. We really enjoyed this house and all it had to offer. We really felt at home and the quietness and cool Maine mornings were perfect to wake up to. The only slightly negative thing I would say would be the beds/mattresses are a little dated. So, if you're used to something different, it may take some adjusting. No big deal, just thought I would add. Overall, we really enjoyed this property and I would rent again. Thanks!

Thanks for your review and for your extremely positive feedback, we enjoyed hosting you. In terms of the beds, just to clarify for future guests, the bed in the master bedroom, 1st floor, is certainly dated, but the mattress is brand new and is on the firm side - I suffer from a bad back. The beds and mattresses in the second floor are all from Ikea and are only a couple of years old - you can see them in the photographs.

Absolutely delightful

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay for a week this summer. The house is close to everything! The kitchen was well appointed, the beds were comfortable and the renovated bathrooms were wonderful. We loved the deck and watching movies in the TV room. All the appliances worked well and we were grateful for the printer and filtered hot/cold water which not all houses come with. Though we didn't take out the kayaks, we did wander down to the lakeside at low tide and were amazed to find so many live wild oysters! It's a beautiful spot. Lastly, the house is really beautifully decorated. We enjoyed looking at the art and the color combinations. It was a truly lovely home base for our adventures in this part of Maine. Thanks for having us!!

This is our fourth year renting a place with dear friends for a week and we all agreed this was the best pick yet. Lovely house in the perfect spot - great view over the water, 10 min from town, groceries, etc. our hosts were very responsive and the house was in perfect order, with lots of the essential spices, etc for cooking. We will definitely look to rent again.

We loved our stay here! The home is very nice - well laid out, clean, and well-appointed. The view of the trees and the river from the house and deck was beautiful. The mini-splits air conditioning units were appreciated during the several hot days during our stay. We would definitely return.

Lovely house

Really lovely home, immaculately clean and spacious for a large family. Plenty of sleeping options, beautiful huge deck. Owner is super responsive if anything comes up. Upgraded appliances and finishes throughout. On the road but surprisingly quiet. Water access a bit of a hike. Highly recommended.

House is very nice and spacious. Great location. Some housekeeping was missed and short on household supplies. Main floor shower slow drained so you stood in water. Didn’t realize someone lived in basement separate entrance when rented. Would not stay here if knew. Was informed his bedroom was below main room and when he went to bed. Not ideal for vacation home rental.

Nice place to stay with concerns

Everything was good, Towels and linens needed to be upgraded to hotel quality, One of the twin beds was not a true twin bed in the King size bed room. The Culligan water station was a nice ammenty. The back porch view of the river is awesome. Having a person living in the basement was uncomfortable.

The house was very comfortable and most amenities were provided. I expected to be closer to the water and have easier access to the water and kayaks. The owner was helpful in explaining the best times kayaking.

Very good stay

House is very spacious, fully equipped with all essentials, quiet neighborhood and close to restaurants, shops and Hannaford’s grocery store. We were a family of 6 adults (3 couples). The deck and furniture are brand new and we hung out there for breakfasts and at sunset. Host Nishad was very responsive and helpful throughout our stay of five days! Thank you Nishad and Alex the property manager too!

Nice family getaway

We really enjoyed our stay. Some of our pros and cons would be: Pros: owner provided lots of information and ensured we had everything needed to enjoy our week. - house was very spacious and furnished. - centrally locates to beaches, restaurants, And family activities. - house was stocked with everything we needed. - LOVED The foosball table Cons: the only issues we found were the lack of dock for access to river. We were only able to kayak and canoe once with the family because of difficulty in access to river. - We (having three kids) would have liked a lock on the master bedroom door for additional privacy. Thank you Nishad for sharing your home with us during our getaway.

We enjoyed hosting Becca and family and would be happy to see them return. In terms of the kayaks, the river is a tidal river and there is usually a four hour window when you can easily kayak by dragging the kayaks into and out of the water off a grassy bank. However, this is not possible when the tide is low and while once in a while it's okay to use our neighbor's dock, we don't have a dock as we don't own land there but only have access to the riverfront. I do send the tidal times to guest prior to their arrival.

Comfortable with water access

We stayed five nights and found the home to be roomy, comfortable and well supplied with all we might need. Having water access with a canoe and three kayaks was wonderful for us.
