This is my second stay at this location. Franz has always be ready to address any issues with my stay, like having his handy man come when a stairway light goes out to fix it the same day. Excellent managing and an excellent location.

This property in Hidden Hollow is wonderfully wrapped in a forest setting, with a herd of deer visiting almost every afternoon and widely spaced but friendly neighbors. The house is circuit 1915 but very nicely revised and comfortable. You are very close to town (5 minute ) drive but feel like you are deep in the woods. The hosts are outstanding, hospitable and promptly communicate to ensure you have a good time and to meet your needs or questions. Outstanding. I will definitely consider using this hideaway again.

Excellent stay

Property was as described. Beautiful scenery, room for the kids to run and play. They really enjoyed just swinging on the swingset in nature. Rooms were comfortable and host was responsive. We did not use hot tub but it was hot and ready. Definitely a great place in the woods but drivable to anywhere.

Our stay was absolutely perfect—better than we could have imagined! We came to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary and were greeted with peaceful mornings watching deer while sipping coffee, and afternoons full of birds and squirrels that kept our golden doodle entertained. The home itself was beautiful, cozy, and well-appointed—from the comfy beds to the hot tub and fireplaces (both indoor and outdoor). The wraparound porch with views of the pines and wooded surroundings made every moment feel like a retreat. The hosts were truly special—kind, thoughtful, and always quick to respond. It was a memorable and meaningful getaway in every way!

Comfortable for the whole family

Stayed with souse and four kids and it was comfortable for the whole family with plenty of space and dishes for everyone. The location was ver convenient to Flagstaff and Snowbowl. I highly recommend this property to future visitors in the area.

Wonderful Tall Pine Location.

The home has great character and was cozy and warm. The proximity to Snow bowl mountain is amazing. 20 min from parking spot to house. The hot tub was super warm and perfect for post riding relaxation. It has a nice view of the stars at night. The home is also 10 min from Flag so going to get a bite was super easy. The home owner was super responsive and very helpful when we called with basic questions. Would def stay again!

Great winter getaway

We had a great time at this property which was located in a cute wooded area but within close proximity of the city of Flagstaff and all it's amenities. We were skiing at the Snowbowl and were about 15-20 minutes from its parking lot. The house was as expected - renovated and clean but still had character of the original home. The house was spacious and had all the amenities we needed. The owners checked in to see if there were any issues. No complaints - we would return if back in area.

A darling house in the woods

The house was adorable. All appliances worked beautifully. The beds were comforable The privacy was wonderful. The surrounding woods and roads to walk on were awesome! We loved this amazing little house in the woods and so did our dog!

First, the property hosts/owners were amazingly prompt with communication and extremely friendly. Next, this home is just wonderful and cozy, yet comfortably accommodating for our family (4). Retreat to the Tall Pines
