We appreciated the goodie basket and drinks in the fridge. Steve kept us informed during a brief power outage. Nice place to stay and Steve was a great host.

We really enjoyed staying here the property was well equipped, and maintained. Steve and Kim were very nice hosts. We loved the decor, and it felt like home away from home. We would definitely book with them again in the future if we go to the Denver area again.

The most charming place we have stayed at. The Rocky Mountain theme decor was perfect and the place is filled with every amenity you could want from rain gear to grocery sacks to extra pillows and blankets. The back yard is a sweet evening retreat with twinkling lights and little lamps that come on at dusk. It is also clean as can be.

The hosts went above and beyond to be helpful. Power was out across the region and this rental had a generator to power the heater and hot water. We were in town for a family reunion and The hosts provided numerous flashlights and even offered to let our family in the area to come stay and be warm during the at freezing weather. They recognized how it was an extraordinary circumstance and rose to the occasion. In addition, the rental was very well stocked. They even provided laundry detergent for sensitive skin which I truly appreciated. I am deeply grateful to Steven and Kim for opening their home to us; we had a lovely visit.

The house was well appointed and the owners thought of helpful amenities. It was clean, and there were sufficient supplies. The owners were very quick to respond to any questions. It was a good location to Red Rocks in a funky neighborhood.

Quiet and peacefull

Stayed here for 4 nights. It was perfect for attending red rocks. The house was equipped with extras in the kitchen and bathrooms The drive to red rocks was easy. The town of evergreen had some good restaurants. Will stay here again next time we attend a concert

Place is great! Well appointed with everything you need. Bedrooms are nice, bathroom are fine and clean. The backyard is nice as well. Love the area, nice quiet. If you’re going to Redrock this is great place to stay, it’s a short scenic ride down to the arena and the town of Morrison. The owners are responsive and very nice. Great place to stay!

Rustic Retreat

This rustic home was comfortable and clean. The property owners were very thoughtful and the place had everything we needed. We loved seeing wildlife roaming near the home, too!!

Awesome place for hiking and Red Rocks!

We came for long weekend of hiking and a concert at Red Rocks with our two teenagers, and our stay here was fabulous. It literally felt like home. The hosts were great and left us a basket of goodies and snacks that included local treats. The details and instructions about the home were so helpful, and we enjoyed the suggestions for local things to do and enjoy. The place was immaculate and very well stocked to make you feel right at home. We will definitely be back, and we would highly recommend this location!

Peacful Mountain Stay

Steve and Kim wete amazing hosts! They greeted us upon our arrival, and stayed in contact with the goings on in the area (deer, bear visitor, weather, etc.). They had a gift waiting for my husband, who just graduated trade school, and even provided us with a cooler and beach towels for our trip to Waterworld! We would highly recommend thjs rental! The price was very budget friendly and lots of room for our family of 6 (2 parents, 2 adult children, and 2 children under 12).

Pleasant and Relaxing

This was a beautiful home. The hosts made us feel super welcome by greeting us as we arrived, leaving a welcome basket for us, and providing a variety of amenities, particularly in the kitchen and bathrooms. Even though they live next door and make themselves available if you need them, they in no way interfere. The home is very comfortable. We enjoyed being able to sit out on the back patio. Deer were constantly roaming the neighborhood. We would absolutely stay here again.

Mountain Getaway

We had a great stay. This is truly a mountain home with wildlife right outside your door. We enjoyed seeing the many deer and fawns. Even though the area is older, the duplex home was extremely clean. The house hold items were updated as well as the furniture. The back yard is great! The bedding was very comfortable. Kim and Steve were excellent hosts (they live right next door in the other attached duplex home) and are always available if needed. The home was extremely quiet. We couldn't have asked for better hosts! We appreciated their kindness and generosity as well as all the essentials they provided. Other than food that you want to eat, you do not have to bring anything. We really enjoyed the gift basket of treats as well as the delicious Pallisades Peaches. How lucky we were to be there when they were in season! We had a great time and hope to return in the future Joe and Joanne

Lovely Duplex close to Red Rocks

A friend and I stayed here for three nights as we had tickets to a show at Red Rocks Amphitheater. The location was great, a 15 minute drive to Red Rock. The nearby towns of Kettridge and Evergreen had cute little restaurants and coffee shops that we enjoyed. And it was an easy drive to nearby hiking trails. The property was just as shown in the pictures. Plenty of space for me and my friend. In fact you could easily fit 4-6 people here with no problem. Easy parking, easy check in. There was a great patio that we unfortunately didn’t get to spend a ton of time enjoying but it was set up well. The host, Steve, was very helpful and friendly. He had left treats and fresh peaches for us. He and his wife live next door but they weren’t intrusive. He left us alone but was available if we needed him and friendly when we ran into him if we were leaving or coming back for the day. Which was perfect. We would totally stay here again.

Kim and I grew up in different places including California, Oregon, and Minnesota. We both came together in Colorado and have settled here in the small town of Kittredge for 15 years. We have traveled many times and now have the opportunity to provide travelers like you the kind of experiences we have appreciated. We Know the area very well and wish provide very special travel memories to all of our guests. We are located in a very unique spot in a duplex that has private entrances and yards which is not far from the all the hot spots most travelers want to see. We very to many convenient stores including Walmart, king Soopers, Safeway, natural grocers, and liquor stores.

Por qué escogió este alojamiento

The neighborhood will often post pictures of wildlife that often walk the roads and yards. It is not unusual to see domesticated deer walking the streets, an occasional fox. The elk often are right in town during the spring and mating season. Black bears often run around but are looking at people for a meal. We enjoy the variety of birds and other wildlife while being off the main road with all the noise.
