It was also a pleasure connecting over our shared hometown area and seeing the photos of your crafting that you later sent — I always enjoy those personal touches with guests.For clarity, the basement is a fully separate apartment with a locking door, two bedrooms, a kitchen, and a bathroom. The curtain provides privacy by dividing the access to the laundry/garage area, and I’ve been working toward replacing it with a door for added privacy.As for the moment you noticed at 4 a.m., I understand how that may have felt unsettling. It was simply my son returning quietly to the basement after spending time in the garage on his artwork. I can assure future guests that privacy is always respected, and I never enter the guest space unless invited.I encourage anyone considering a stay to also read the many 5-star reviews on the Evolve booking sites."
