Nestled in the heart of the tranquil and family-friendly Warrendale neighborhood of Waltham, MA, lies a charming residence with suburban and yet city life, located about 20 minutes from the heart of downtown Boston, 15 minutes from Harvard Square, and 10 minutes from the campuses of Brandeis and Bentley Universities. 10 minute to Waltham's popular Moody's Street which offers dining and shopping options and historic Gore Place for weekend family events. Walgreens pharmacy and grocery stores are all in close proximity.
This home has 3 good sized bedrooms, one master bedroom with queen bed and 2 bedrooms with twin sized beds; 1 full bathroom, all in the second floor.
The first floor has a living room, a good sized kitchen with working area, a dinning room, a half bathroom and a sunroom converted into home gym with basic workout equipment.
Outdoor, you will have a nice backyard deck with umbrella for outside entertainment and a welcoming front yard. During the summer the backyard and front yard trees provide a calming tree shades. You have free parking for up to 3 cars!

Everything was really good except I couldn't find the washer and dryer listed. It might have been in the basement but I couldn't go there because of the really bad smell. Another minor problem was that even though I am not a very big person I had a difficult time getting into the bed as the space between the bed, the wall and the dresser was really tight. But this was very minor. The bed and sheets were wonderful. We had a very good stay and I would go back in ever in that area again.

This is a great home and a nice neighborhood, and 11 minute drive to Brandeis. We stayed there over a weekend while moving our kid into college. We had everything we needed and great communication. Highly recommend!

Close access to Bentley University

Our teen had a weeklong conference at Bentley University, and this location was perfect in proximity to the university and other areas of interest. The property is an older home in process of upgrades. We were comfortable, though the Queen bed is a snug fit in the bedroom and my husband had to climb over the footboard because there was insufficient space to squeeze between it and the dresser. He is a larger guy, so he also did not appreciate the size of the downstairs half-bath (a converted hall closet). It was fine for me! The window units proved beneficial for the summer heat, and the bed itself is comfortable.We mostly ate out, so were not impacted by the kitchen's limited cookware, flatware, and utensils. We had to wash dishes daily to ensure the three of us had enough for the meals we did take at the home. The water has a high amount of mineral content (hard water), so we were grateful for the Brita filter in the fridge.The homeowner was excellent with communication and reliably answered any questions we had. The neighborhood is well-established and has a lovely community park just around the corner, complete with playground, ball field, tennis courts, and splash pad.

Waltham stay

Pleasant, quirky home — clean and comfortable. We especially enjoyed the back deck. The host was attentive and available. The lack of a railing on either side of the top half of the staircase to the bedroom level could make the house a challenge for older adults and those with mobility or balance issues.

Not exactly "gorgeous"

The place met our needs as far as location but was a disappointment in several ways. They may be actively working on the place but there were paint splatters all over the house, broken drawers, cooked food spills on the stove from a previous person, and the downstairs bathroom makes some crazy banging noises for quite some time after flushing. The beds were comfortable as were the TV and couches and the shower was good with nice towels. The decorating is minimal. It is a pretty shabby place. It is clearly a bachelor's pad type set up.

Amazing stay

To start off the neighborhood was very nice and quiet. The house was very welcoming and spacious. Check in process was so smooth and easy with absolutely no trouble contacting the host. House had all the amenities we needed and the listing was completely accurate. Would 100% come back and stay here given the opportunity.

Okay but needs some work

The house was in a nice neighborhood and a good location for our needs. The house has been partially renovated but still requires a "little love". I was concerned about the plumbing, we heard some strange sounds coming from the downstairs bathroom and some pipe was leaking in the basement.

Harvard Graduation

The house is an older home but was nice and very cozy. Having 1 bathroom with all guys wasn't as hard as it may have been if my daughter wasn't living on campus. This home had great TV subscriptions options available (which is not typical) and it came in super handy after long days of graduation activities. My boys and I sat on the back deck.... and omg!! it was so peaceful. My late wife would have enjoyed it too! Thank you Hamza for opening your home to us.
