Carobella Carriage - 2 Bedrooms, Bikes, Walk to Beach

Property includes dedicated Rosemary Beach® community Beach Access via 9 Private Beach Walkovers. Beach chair service available for an additional cost through RBPOA Beach Service. Complimentary access to Rosemary Beach® Fitness and complimentary court time at Rosemary Beach® Racquet Club also included.

Renovated in December of 2019 for a gorgeously clean feel, Carobella Carriage House is one of the largest carriage houses in Rosemary Beach and feels more like a two bedroom. Main floor includes small living room with sofa and chair, kitchen has full size range, an under counter gourmet frig with ice-maker, dining area is for 4 people, full bathroom and private 2-person bunk room. You can have privacy and watch tv while the kids go to sleep or watch their own tv. Enjoy 2 balconies. Lovely full staircase leads to the master loft with its king size bed and sitting area. Very bright carriage with lots of windows and natural light. A new washer/dryer is located downstairs in the garage, along with an additional refrigerator.

Street parking only.

Conveniently located one block from Kilwin's in North Barrett Square. Enjoy a close walk to indoor Sky Pool, Fitness Center, Racquet Club and Cabana Pool.

Carobella Carriage House is comfortable and convenient to the beach, 4 pools, tennis, restaurants, and all things Rosemary Beach has to offer.

**Property requires 7 night rentals Saturday to Saturday during peak season. 3 night minimum all other times.

Fall Stay

This was our second time staying at this property. It is perfect for a family our size (two adults and two young kids). Close to everything, we brought wagon to walk things to the beach which was perfect. We used every space in the house from cooking small meals to hanging for short periods of time between beach and pool time. We did dinner at the beach or at restaurants by choice and this was a great stay.

Great stay!

Great location in Rosemary! We have been coming down for 15 years. The carriage house was central to everything in Rosemary. Very clean owner was very communicative. Carriage house as well appointed Would definitely rent it again

Amazing time in Rosemary!

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Rosemary. The carriage house was plenty big enough for the four of us. Kitchen is fully equipped with access to a regular sized refrigerator in the garage. The owner is very accommodating and responds quickly to any communication. We highly recommend staying at this little gem in the heart of Rosemary!!

Great Carriage House

Stayed with my family of 4 - two kids ages 5 and 7. The space was perfect. My kids loved the bunk beds and it was nice to have the upstairs to ourselves. We were able to utilize every space in the house. Will definitely stay her again.

Super location park side Rosemary Beach!

Well, located property. Close to shops, restaurants, and the beach. The community pools were a fun surprise. The property is well appointed, perfect for the two of us. Clean and even more spacious than the pictures indicate. When booking this property, be mindful that the bathroom is on a lower level than the master bed room. Nicely freshened decor, responsive host, and all that Rosemary Beach has to offer made this a terrific stay for us!

Quaint and cozy!

Comfortable and cozy for our family of 4! It was a little aged and unfortunately the view off the balcony looks over the back of another house and pool. But is in close proximity to town square, pools and beaches!

Perfect for a family of 4!

My only complaint is the shared trash can was very small and constantly overflowing. Trash was also thrown on five sides of the can making it unpleasant to walk to and from.

Great location but a little dated and not cleaned well.

Property was in a great location for all the action at Rosemary. The house was not cleaned well before our arrival and had long black hairs from previous stays all over….gross. Would be nice to have access to washer and dryer and also the property just needs a little TLC to bring it up to really be nice. Probably will book elsewhere on next trip to the beach.

Great location

We LOVED Rosemary Beach. We were a little disappointed that this rental didn’t provide beach or pool towels and or any shampoo/bath soap. Although the rental stated it was renovated it’s been beat up a bit. The location is perfect but for the price it should provide some necessities the renters need. The ice maker wasn’t working either. After some trouble shooting we got to work. The key cards for beach and pool weren’t working but that got resolved. Management was responsive but there are certain things they just didn’t provide.

Super cute and an amazing location

This place is small but well organized. It is super cute and well decorated. The communication with the owner was great. The location of this cottage is amazing. It is walking distance to everything. I would suggest a full length mirror as the only mirror is the bathroom mirror. With a family of four staying here and just one bathroom it would be nice to have another spot to get ready while other family members take showers. Also shower curtain should be washed between visit as there was mold on it.

Another great Rosemary vacation

We just completed our fourth consecutive vacation at Rosemary. Our small family finds that a carriage house works well. Carobella Carriage house was our favorite so far. The bunk room worked amazingly well for our teenage daughters and gave the feel of a 2 bedroom unit. Although the unit does not have a full size refrigerator, we were able to use the full size fridge in the garage to keep additional food and drinks. Access to the washer/dryer in the garage was also very helpful. Great location right off of Barrett Square. We loved our stay again this year and would recommend Carobella Carriage house.

Loved our stay here at Rosemary!

The place was in a great location to downtown Rosemary and the beach! Although the beach was a longer walk than expected it was still overall a great location. The upstairs bedroom loft area was such a unique touch to the place and we loved it! The bed/bedding was incredibly comfortable! The only thing the place is missing is a full length mirror. Overall I would recommend!

Great place!

Carobella Carriage House is a great place to stay in a great location. The king-sized bed is incredibly comfortable, as is the cozy couch. The kitchen is well-appointed and the entire place is quite clean. The location is beyond incredible... just STEPS away from the center of Rosemary Beach. Communication pre-arrival with the owner was clear and quick. Once we arrived, the property manager was just a text away. My husband used the bunk room as storage for our luggage and to spread out his clothes (there are drawers underneath the bottom bunk-- bonus space!). We made good use of the washer/ dryer in the garage and stored our bikes in there. Lots of leftover "toys" for the beach in there.. not sure what will be there when you get there, but there were multiple pool noodles, boogie boards, a beach wagon, and lots of sandcastle-building pails, shovels and other stuff. Oddly, there were also a number of bicycles in there including some that looked like rentals, but we didn't know if the garage was shared with the main house so we didn't touch them. The refrigerator in the basement was nice, but was a little too dirty inside the fridge portion for us to use for anything other than keeping 12 packs of soft drinks cold. Yes, I could have cleaned it, but I was on vacation! The small fridge in the unit worked out fine for us, size-wise. We had rented this location for three main reasons: location, a real staircase and a porch (actually, two). Fair warning: the steps on the staircase are tricky unless the lights are fully on, so don't wander to the bathroom (downstairs) in the middle of the night without turning on the lights! Something about the placement of the first railing post being AFTER the steps start threw me and my husband off, as well as the placement of steps in the middle of the turn. YMMV. We didn't use the porches at all, because they are quite compact. Buildings are so close to one another that one porch faces a wall and overlooks the next house's pool (didn't want to be creepy!) and the other faces a bend in the street so you really don't have any sense of space. I knew there wouldn't be a "view" but that was a little less than I expected. The location has some obvious ongoing issues. The floor in front of the mini-fridge is clearly damaged and stained black from prior leak(s), which we also experienced just after arriving. The back door also has clearly had multiple leaks. Overall a great place.
