Kiahuna Plantation Unit 53, Stunning View, Near Beach; AC; Free Pool, Gym

Hale Kamaluhia Poipu (Hawaiin meaning is House of Serenity at Poipu). Please feel free to check out the condo website at www.halekamaluhiapoipu.com. Kiahuna Plantation (Unit 53 in building 10) is a renovated one bedroom, one bath condo, upstairs corner unit, in a two-story plantation style building. Unit has a stunning view of the great lawn and the Twin Bridges Garden, as it is centrally located. The end, upstairs unit allows for more open louvers and great cross ventilation and is a short stroll to Kiahuna's sandy beach.

The condo comfortably sleeps four, with a king size bed and a queen size sofa bed available. The condo comes with complimentary use of the pool, fitness club and tennis courts at the Poipu Beach Athletic Club which is across the road from the complex. Kiahuna Plantation is the only condo complex in Poipu on a swimming beach; beach chairs and towels are complimentary to guests at the onsite Beach Hut.

All towels, linens and toiletries are provided to our guests. Guest services are managed by an onsite management company. The condo has air conditioning in the bedroom as well as ceiling fans and an abundance of louvered windows and doors to create cross breezes. Free wireless internet access is provided to our guests. A large flat screen television is available in the living room. Gas grills are nearby and available for our guests' use. The kitchen has a recent renovation which included stainless steel appliances, quartz countertops, cabinets, sink, pots and pans. The kitchen is fully stocked should you wish to cook "at home"; there are two local supermarkets and, for those who prefer not to cook, there are many restaurants in the area. The shower was also recently renovated and has both rainforest or jet control options.

Our lanai provides a tranquil setting to dine, to have your morning coffee or to simply sit and watch the day go by or to experience the setting sun in a kaleidoscope of stunning color and splendor.

This is a remarkably peaceful place, with the manicured lawns and gardens, the stunning beach, and a true sense of the spirit of Kauai as a place for relaxation, rejuvenation, and renewal.

Great stay at this condo!! Easy check-in and out! Property is very nice. Owner was great at communicating. Lots of shops and restaurants within walking distance. Great beach and beautiful grounds.

We really enjoyed our stay at Kasey & Mike’s home! The house had everything we could have needed—beach gear for our days by the water, a fully stocked kitchen for when we wanted to cook, and the A/C was a lifesaver in the warmer weather. The home was clean, comfortable, and felt very welcoming. The location was perfect—beautifully maintained grounds and just a short walk to a swimmable beach, which we loved. It was also super convenient being close to the guest laundry area.Kasey was such a wonderful host—communication was so easy, and she was very responsive to every question or request we had, which really made our stay stress-free. We felt taken care of the whole time. Overall, this was such a great spot, and we’d definitely love to come back!

A great place to be at Poipu beach. Easy walking acces to a long stretch of beach and awesome location to able to reach anything on the Island. This property has great extras beach gear to use. We will definitely book this again when coming back. Btw this area of Kauai has also the most choices for food.

great location for an extended stay (1 month) with short walk to the beach (our favorite in the Poipu area), laundry facilities, gym/pool (Poipu Beach Athletic Club which is included), Poipu shopping center and Poipu beach to watch the sea turtles come in at sunset. The kitchen is well stocked for in home meal prep, AC works well and great lanai to enjoy your morning coffee. Comfy bed. Would definitely stay here again

Lovely property and condo

The location was great. Just a short walk to the beach. The condo was well equipped and great communication with the vrbo owner. Only thing I would highlight would to make sure to either bring your own towels/wash cloths or make sure you utilize what you have. You can get them swapped out for 16 a set. Or i guess you could wash them as there is laundry service area just across the drive.

Excellent condo and location!

We had a fabulous time at Kasey & Mike’s Kiahuna Plantation condo. It was just the right size for a family of 3 and very well-equipped. It was great to have the beach gear to use as well. The location was perfect, walk to the beach, close to shops and dining. Kasey reached out the day we arrived and was so easy to work with, even helping us out when we needed a late check out.Wonderful stay!

Kauai time

The unit is wonderful and has a great view of the smaller grass areas and bridges. The owners have stocked the place for families and made all the amenities available to them. The unit is open and nicely remodeled compared with other units we’ve stayed in.

Excellent Poipu location

Stayed for 3 nights in April, and fortunately had some nice weather (with intermittent warm showers). The property is lovely, and the unit is well kept and spacious. The bedroom is not soundproof from the living room, but closes off conveniently. We did hear the downstairs neighbors playing music one night- didn’t mind, but something to note that the sounds carry. The beach supplies in the closet were a HUGE plus and one of the reasons for staying here. No ocean view but pretty close walk! The kids enjoyed running around the meadow/field out back,

Kiahuna Stay

The condo is perfect for a quiet place on a wonderful resort. This place is great for kids with plenty of outdoor areas for them to run around and play. The surf shack offers good options for beach necessities and snacks. Plenty of places to eat and shop within walking distance. I would definitely recommend staying here and we will too.

Fabulous!

The condo was perfect! It is very well stocked (great cookware and knives!) and in a great location, about halfway between the road and the beach. Kasey and Mike were lovey and very communicative and check in/out was a breeze even though we arrived after the Castle office had closed. Loved that the condo was on the top floor and an end unit - the breezes were great and cooled things down at night. Can’t wait to come back!

Great location

Great place to stay, although no ocean view(30sec walk to the beach), the greenery view from the lanai was beautiful and relaxing. Condo was clean and no issue during the stay. Owner was very helpful and responsive which made our reservation process quick and simple.

What a fantastic experience dealing with Kasey and Mike! The condo was immaculate and well cared for - perfect for an ideal getaway, in paradise. We are a repeat visitor to this unit, which checks every box ... is well appointed, clean, comfortable and convenient with the added delight of a stunning view and ideal location to stroll to local beaches, restaurants & amenities. Truly delivers on their description as a place for relaxation, rejuvenation, and renewal. Kasey went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. She was pleasant and quick to respond to all inquiries... kindly incorporating added touches and detail throughout the unit, to ensure her guest's stay is memorable. The best hosts and an amazing unit!

My wife and I vacation on Kauai regularly, and have even stayed at the Kiahuna Plantation three times. Kasey and Mike's unit was by far our favorite place so far (11 trips and counting)! The unit itself is really nicely done, and even has AC which isn't in every unit. Their view of the gardens is amazing at sunset and sunrise as well. Additionally, Kasey and Mike were incredibly responsive, proactive and kind. We think the Kiahuna is the best place to stay on the island, and this is one of the best units with two incredible hosts! We would absolutely love to return!

Nice property...

Nice property...Great balcony and high-top chairs had most all things needed. Could have used a few more wash cloths. Building 53 was right across from the dirty old maintenance buildings/shop, with trucks starting up around 5 am each morning. Clean up fee of $300 was steep for a small one bedroom and a stay of 3 nights.

Great Kauai location

We love this condo as it had everything we needed! A real bonus for us is that it had swimming noodles, boogie boards, snorkeling, equipment, small cooler, etc. all those things you can’t bring with you on a plane. It’s very close to Poipu Beach, where we saw turtles every day in the water and on the beach ! There was an excellent place for snorkelers, especially like me. The resort gave access to Poipu athletic club where there was a really nice pool and we loved eating at the very casual cabana club at the end of the day. This unit has such a beautiful expansive view, I think one of the best in resort There were rainbows almost every day. We would recommend choosing this unit.

We have been coming to Kauai for many years; the first time one of us ventured to Kauai was in 1980 and have loved it ever since. We have both been regular visitors since 2001. We live and work in Washington State spending our free time on our boat cruising the Salish Sea, but this place has always had a special place in our hearts, for its beauty and peace.

Kauai is our favorite island and particularly the Poipu area. We have stayed in many resorts in Poipu but feel the amenities and location can't be beat. We fell in love with Kiahuna Unit 53 due to its location being on the second floor of a smaller building while also being an end unit with great ventilation. It also has an expansive view of the beautiful green lawn, Banyon tree, and twin bridges. On top of that it is only a short stroll to the beach. We are delighted to call Unit 53 ours and have decided to keep it named Hale Kamaluhia (House of Serenity) as did James and Shaun the previous owners, we feel it is quite fitting. Not too long ago, the condo had a major renovation, installing a new kitchen with brand new appliances, countertops and cooking supplies. New travertine tile shower with a shower tower providing both a rainforest or jet option. Along with the bathroom, other items such as new plantation shutters, upgraded electrical system and many other items were replaced. We welcome you to share in our joy and peace by spending some of your own time and finding your own place in this space we feel privileged to call our own.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

It's a great thrill to wake up to and spend time with a view of the great lawn, to take in the splendid setting, and the twin bridge gardens, knowing full well that the beach is a mere two minutes or so away but never feeling compelled to go anywhere if sitting still and simply daydreaming works for you. Kiahuna is so well situated that you can choose from a range of options from doing nothing to heading to the beach or planning for activities like horseback riding, kayaking, surfing, or touring some of the stunning natural beauty that is Kauai (ie. Waimea Canyon comes to mind). It's the kind of place that never gets old and where each day is as new as the countless ones before: filled with beauty, with peace, and with endless possibility.
