One of the first houses built on the East side of Fishhook River. It is arguably the nicest lot on all of Fishhook River. 200 ft of clear shoreline with a large deck on the water and a dock! The Heartland Trail, convenient boat access into Fishhook lake and a 5 minute walk to Heartland Park starts here! Heartland Park amenities include tennis, frisbee golf course, pickle ball and basketball courts along with a large playground. Take off from the dock in a kayak, canoe or paddle boat (available for guests) and explore Fishhook River! Endless swimming to stay cool in the summer! Bring your boat and be on Fishhook lake within minutes. The property is about a 15-20 minute walk to Main Street where you can enjoy lots of shopping and a variety of dining options. Lots of summer fun starts here. Enjoy Park Rapids and all it has to offer! Spacious, updated and very clean house for multiple families if needed!

Wonderful Vacation Stay

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay on the Fish Hook River. There were only 4 of us, ( 3 generations) and there was plenty of space. The view of the river is amazing. My son and I enjoyed kayaking to the park to play pickleball, playing corn hole in the yard and riding bikes to Dorset. We had great seats for the fireworks on the property dock. We walked or kayaked to town a couple of times. The house was very well stocked with everything we needed for the week. It was a great trip down memory lane for my dad, who graduated from Park Rapids High School in 1955. Would definitely stay here again.

Great Location

Large comfortable space, great windows, new mattresses, quiet setting, sweeping lawn for play and an extensive shoreline and dock. The Heartland trail is one block away for easy access to the park, racquet courts, playground, boat launch, restaurants and shops. Fish Hook is 3-6 ft deep in this area and busy with Pike, Sunnies and loons. The kayaks are full-size and beginner level width.

Great

We thought the place was great, a lot of room for everyone. The dock was awesome and we used all the water "toys". The only thing that would be nice to have screens on the windows and doors.

Awesome property right on the river in town. The kids loved swimming and using the pedal boat. Walking distance to Skoe Park and downtown. It was also nostalgic for my wife and her brothers as they grew up just across the river from this property. Already thinking about booking next summer.

We had a family long weekend getaway & loved it and hated to leave. We plan to stay again but for a longer stay. The location is perfect - in town but you don’t feel like it. We especially enjoyed the morning & evening hours & watching the wildlife. The host was great and very helpful. We loved the large living area & the bedrooms were very comfortable. We made use of the kayaks, canoe & paddle boat and the kids enjoyed all the water time they could get. Great for families of all ages - we were 9 to 75!

Three Night Stay for Nephew's Wedding

Eight family members traveled to Park Rapids for my nephew's wedding. This house on Fishhook River was excellent and more than met all of our needs. The kitchen, bathrooms, bedrooms, and laundry room were stocked with everything anyone would need. We appreciated the air conditioning units and loved that each bedroom had separate AC control. The quality of the space was impressive. We would stay here again.

Nice location!

Nice home with a great location. Super close to Park Rapids and the Heartland Trail. Nice shoreline of Fishhook River. Property has a large lot for lawn games. We were visiting family, but wish we could have spent more time enjoying the property.

Great getaway with a great location

If we had to describe our stay in one word, we would say AMAZING! We had our kids and their families stay with us for a total of 12 people, 8 adults and 4 children. The property was spacious inside and out. We never felt like we were on top of each other. The kids absolutely loved the playground equipment and playing in the water. The adults really enjoyed the paddle boat, kayaks and canoe. The water was perfect for enjoying those water toys as it was calm. The location was perfect! Five minutes from Walmart and within walking distance to the park which the kids loved. Even though it is in town, we felt as if we were not. It was pretty private. The hosts, Greg and Jade, were very responsive to all of our questions and never made us feel as if we were a bother. They were always helpful and very friendly! During our stay, we were talking about planning another family vacation and everyone agreed that we would love to stay at this vrbo property again! It is a gem hidden in Park Rapids. Thank you for the memories!!

Family Lake Weekend

We had 7 adults stay for 3 nights and loved our stay. The location is great and the young adults took several trips out on the paddleboat and kayaks. We would definitely stay again!
