Descripción de propiedad:

Un refugio confortable para unas vacaciones de playa muy necesarias. Decoraciones náuticas, pisos de madera originales y un balcón superior con una hermosa vista al mar te harán sentir como si estuvieras navegando en barlovento en mar abierto. ¡Trae a tus mascotas para la experiencia también! El acceso a la playa está al otro lado de la calle, y las tiendas, restaurantes y otras actividades no están muy lejos.

Windward ofrece 3 dormitorios y 2 baños. Los tamaños de cama incluyen 2 reinas y 2 gemelos. Se proporcionan almohadas, colchas y mantas. NO se proporcionan sábanas, pero están disponibles para alquiler.

Windward se encuentra en la segunda fila del océano en 2003 S Shore Drive en Surf City.

Esta propiedad admite mascotas. Se aplicará una tarifa no reembolsable de $ 125 + impuestos por mascota. Límite de 2 mascotas por reserva.

Last minute July 4th weekend availability

Quant beach house, that reminds me of staying with family. House is nice with a veiw of the water from the second floor deck. Everything we needed was there. Short walk directly accros the street from the beach access. Definitely staying here again. Only recommendations is new mattresses and leave access to a vaccum just incase sand inevitably get stracked in.

Great place for our business trip!

This home was available last minute when we planned our business trip and we needed to take our dog with us. It was a very nice home, nicely laid out. Our only qualm was the water leak in the master bedroom closet. I hope the owners can get that fixed soon! We also decided to pay homage to Rocky as we were leaving; we put some beautiful shells that we found on the beach on his gravesite. What a beautiful way to remember a pet! My daughter said "he must have been a very good boy." Thank you!

Great Access…Terrible Beds…Needs a Deep Clean

The location is amazing…the access to the beach is absolutely perfect. The house could use a deep cleaning…corners and blinds were quite filthy. The return vent and ceiling fans were also covered in dust and grime. The thermostat also only allowed the temp to be lowered to 72 degrees. The warm temperature and the extremely uncomfortable mattress made for miserable sleeping conditions. We moved our oldest child from the upstairs Queen bed to see if the mattress was better…it was slightly better but since heat rises, the sleep was still terrible. I ended up trying to sleep on the couch in the living room two of the nights, but since it’s a loveseat, it was not long enough. The pots/pans are also in need of updating. The other thing that I will say is that the coins above the doorways are odd; they are quite literally over every door frame.

Horrible/Weird

The photos didn’t match the listing, the washer cut out many times during the wash cycle, the ac unit was stuck on a high temp for very uncomfortable sleep… would not recommend to anyone. Not to mention the random pictures of families and babies left my group very uncomfortable, and the random Pennie’s above the door frames which dates back to suspicion and witchcraft practices, this place didn’t suit my group for a week, wouldn’t recommend.

Wonderful location, comfortable house

This beach house is like a cozy cabin. It has a great location, almost directly across the street from the beach access. Two front decks for enjoying the ocean breeze and a nice ocean view from the top deck. With teenagers, we appreciated the two separate living room areas, one on each floor. We had a minor maintenance issue during our stay. We made one quick call to the rental company and within an hour they had a repairman at the house and the issue was fixed very quickly. Our only complaint was the beds are not the most comfortable. Overall, we will definitely look this house up for future vacations!

Second time staying here. Great price and great location. Fulfills all our needs without breaking the bank. And this time we didn't have an overnight hurricane to keep us up.

Nice but needs a deep clean and updates

Let me start off by saying we LOVE topsail, however this house kinda left us w a bad taste in our mouth. The house was DIRTY, sand and dog fur everywhere, dust on everything which would have been a simple fix except there was no vacuum and the broom was a straw style from 20 years ago and had no dustpan at all to be found. The bathrooms were dirty as well. The charcoal grill outside hadn't been cleaned in who knows how long and the wire brush to clean the grates literally had like three wires left on it and was bald. There was also no tool to pull the grates out which left me with greasy hands and covered in charcoal dust b/c there was nothing to scoop the old ash out. The linen service we paid for didn't provide linens for one of the rooms, The house was built in the 80s and it showed, even the furniture esp the beds were in rough shape, the one in the master bedroom was a old spring mattress and so worn out that it was sunken in the middle. My wife and I joked that it was the bed that promoted togetherness. The kitchen stove needs to be updated we got a seafood steamer pot from Topsail steamer(please try this place we love it) and it took 2 hours to cook it where its supposed to take 40 minutes b/c the eyes on the cook top wouldn't heat up enough to keep the water boiling to steam the food. The utensils, cooking items, pots and pans they had were filthy, a decade old, and seriously unorganized, how hard is it to have a sharp knife, decent flatware and some pots and pans that didn't look like they need to be sandblasted clean. There is no outside shower unless you count a shower head attached to the hose spigot outside.... They also claim to have satellite TV, they dont. Which I know that you don't come to the beach to watch TV, however it does rain and in the evening it would be nice to have something to watch before you go to bed. It did have antenna for local channels but you got like 3 channels and it the signal was horrible. We did reach out to Lewis Reality who managed the property who listened to my concerns and said they would get back to me but never did. We spent several thousand to just stay here for a week, and at that price point there are other options available, I would suggest you keep looking.

Great house with all the comforts of home!

We loved the house and the location. It was very clean when we arrived. Access to the beach was right across the street so very convenient when carrying our things to and from the beach. This is the first place I have ever stayed where the kitchen is truly a "well stocked kitchen." It had absolutely everything we needed as far as cookware, dishes, utensils and much more. I was so pleased with everything. We had to go without a TV in the living room and one of the bedrooms for 1 1/2 days which were the last days we were there due to lightning hitting them. Really no big deal and outside of anyone's control. Lewis Realty was great in responding to us about the TV's even though they weren't replaced before we left. They had to wait on owner approval which is completely understandable. I would definitely stay here again and again. Thanks for a great "home away from home!"

Average home for average price.

Nice relaxing place. Very easy access to the beach. This was a last minute pick for us because we had to bring our dog. It's not the nicest house on beach. But a good value for price you spend. I feel the cleaning company could do a little better, but it's a rental and I'm sure it gets plenty of use. Outdoor furniture could use a good cleaning also. Overall we had a good time.
