Round The Corner is a lovely bungalow style beach cottage that sits directly across the street from the sparking Atlantic Ocean. It is precisely positioned in a location that allows for direct ocean views (almost oceanfront) with nothing built directly in front of the home. Right out front is a convenient beach access which is only steps away. This is one of only a few houses on the entire island which is architecturally designed as a round home which makes for a very fun and interesting vacation destination. This special design allows for much better views due to the massive walls of glass facing directly out towards the ocean.
This lovely home has been renovated and has a like new appearance with colors in a vision of white.
There are two bedrooms with one full bath and the bedding arrangement includes 2 queens, 1 double futon and a twin pullout which allows for a sleeping capacity of 6 guests.
The living area is very spacious with an open concept (living room, dining and kitchen) which allows for great family time together.
The living room is equipped with a sleeper double sofa, a large pullout chair (which doubles as a twin bed), a comfortable recliner, end tables and lamps, ceiling fan and a large flatscreen TV mounted to the wall. WiFi is provided throughout the home. From the living room the views are simply breathtaking as the large windows face directly out to the ocean. The living room provides direct access out to the oceanside deck which is equipped with very high-grade resin captain’s chairs which enhances the views of the beautiful Atlantic Ocean.
The kitchen is absolutely wonderful and is equipped with everything needed for basic meal preparations including all required major and small countertop appliances. The major appliances include a refrigerator with water and ice dispenser, range/oven combination, dishwasher and a built-in microwave. The countertop appliances include a coffee pot, toaster and blender. The kitchen cabinets are custom shaker style with solid all new countertops and under cabinet lighting. The views from the kitchen are simply fabulous.
The dining area adjoins the kitchen and living area and is positioned directly adjacent to a wall of windows which provides for maximum ocean views. This is definitely “dining by the sea”. It just doesn’t get much better than this.
The master bedroom (bedroom 1) is equipped with a queen bed, end tables and lamps, storage chest, ceiling fan and a flatscreenTV. There is direct access to the Jack and Jill bath which is equipped with a tub and shower combination. The master provides direct access out to the rear deck and on down to the back yard area.
Bedroom 2 is equipped with a queen bed, night stands and lamps, storage chest and a ceiling fan. There is direct access to the Jack and Jill bath which has a tub and shower combination.
Underneath the house you will find a wonderful space for just hanging out and enjoying the cool ocean breezes while shaded from the sun. Here you will find a picnic table, comfortable chairs and even a hammock for those lazy days that you just want to take a leisurely nap while listening to the surf as it crashes along the shoreline.
On this ground level you will find a laundry room equipped with a full-size washer and dryer and also there is an outdoor enclosed shower with hot and cold water.
As you can see, Round The Corner is a wonderful home for a small family and it provides lots of features/amenities, and most of all the excellent location only steps to the beach. The views are simply mesmerizing.

Check-in will be in person at the Coastline Realty rental office which is located at 965 Old Folkstone Rd. Suite 108 Sneads Ferry, NC 28460. ID’s will be required at check-in and must match the name on the reservation contract. At check-in, guest will be given a CHECK-IN PACKET that will include: WiFi information, keys or key code whichever applies, parking passes, pool passes (if required), any additional house rules if applicable, directions to property, emergency contact information, things to do info sheet, and check-out procedures. PLEASE DO NOT GO DIRECTLY TO THE PROPERTY BEFORE CHECK-IN AS IT WILL ONLY DELAY THE PROCESS FOR YOU. IF HOUSEKEEPERS OR INSPECTORS SEE CARS IN THE DRIVEWAY, THEY WILL MOVE ON TO THE NEXT HOUSE AND YOU MAY MISS YOUR EARLY ROTATION WITH CLEANING/INSPECTING.
