Recently renovated and furnished with outdoor fire pit & games!

Bring your entire family to this fun filled home with lots of room for fun. Enjoy all that Clear Lake Retreat has to offer. The whole family can enjoy not only the home, but the outdoor fire pit, corn hole, and horse shoes. The outdoor area is a great place to enjoy a bbq. Just steps from the bike/walking path around Clear Lake and a 5 minute drive to Pine Lake where you can find many restaurants, hiking, and parks You can even rent a boat or go fishing. Our home sleeps up to 8 guests.

Our 3 bedroom, 2 bath home sleeps up to 8 guests (6 adults with children comfortably). We are a short 20 min drive to the Indiana Dunes National Park, Lake Michigan for a day at the beach, and the Washington Park Zoo. If you enjoy the outdoors there are also many parks near the lakes and hiking trails. We provide coffee, sugar and creamer to wake up and enjoy your morning. We provide all the essentials for cooking, sleeping and even have toothbrush/toothpaste in the event that you forget yours. Each bathroom has shower essentials (body soap, shampoo, and conditioner), towels, and a hair dyer

Our home offers free wifi and a smart/roku tv for your relaxing time. You will need your own Roku account.

Washer and dryer is available for your use, but you will need to provide your own detergent and dryer sheets.

Great home away from home!

We stayed here for a girls weekend and it was fantastic! The layout was great for hanging out and relaxing both inside and out. We loved the large living room for playing games and the kitchen was pretty well stocked with essential items for making meals! The fire pit and outdoor games gave us something to do in the evenings and we loved how close it was to the lake! We visited the nearby farmers market and wineries and of course the dunes! Every part of our stay was great and it truly felt like a home away from home. We had a group of 6 end up spending the night and it was a good size for that! My only suggestion would be to add a bottle opener to the kitchen utensils! We had a can opener and a cork screw but couldn’t find a bottle opener. I ended up finding one in my car so it was no big deal but all of the other essentials were present! We loved it and would stay again!

LaPorte house stay

Everything was clean and nice! The host was very responsive. The location was perfect for our event at the Civic Auditorium but lots of outside traffic noise at night. Overall, a really nice and affordable option for our visit!

Very comfortable location in a decent part of town. Beds were very comfy. Location was close to a lake and public park that had some music.

Nicely Renovated Home

Recently and nicely renovated home just a block away from Fox Park and Clear Lake. The place had it's own parking lot which was nice because in an older neighborhood, parking can be tight. The outside has a nice deck with lights, grill and Horeshoe and cornhole games set up. Lots of shopping and local eateries nearby. Our family stayed here because it was close to the Lake Michigan shore, Indiana Dunes, hiking trails and other historic sites nearby. We will definitely visit the area again and book this home.

Cozy home

We really liked the property. It was easy to get to and it looked just like the pictures. We loved that they had security lights on the outside of the home, it made us feel safer, the only suggestion we’d have would be to put some curtains up in the downstairs bedroom as one of the security lights was right outside of the window which lit up the whole bedroom every time a car drove by. We cooked on the stove once, made spaghetti, and it set of every smoke detector in the house multiple times. Even with the fan under the microwave running it still made them go off. So maybe some sort of ventilation would be better. There are no vents to the upstairs bedrooms which made the bedrooms pretty warm but the kids opened the windows which seemed to help a lot. Even with the minor issues we felt the price was very fair compared to other listings we had viewed. Overall, we really liked the home and felt comfortable there and the host was very easy to get ahold of and answered any question we had very quickly. We would definitely book again if we are ever back in that area.
