Villa situada en Burn Brae plantación. Estamos convenientemente ubicado a sólo cinco minutos de la ciudad en las primeras colinas del pie. Descansando a pocos pasos de la playa y la vida silvestre. Ofrecemos un gran refugio del ritmo alto de la ciudad con nuestros 50 acres de propiedad bien diversificada. los sitios más frecuentes son los loros y muchos otros tipos de aves, grandes árboles, la fauna de todo tipo, y el mono ocasional.

Awesome stay!

Our stay was awesome! The house was cleaned and looks like the pictures posted. The host was super nice, reasonably and kind he made sure every room in that house was nice with everything in working order, we loved the kitchen. What else can you ask for. Will recommend to family and friends, book without hesitation.

Excellent option in Bocas

Beautiful property and well-equipped apartment. Josh was very welcoming and helpful sorting out transportation around the island. Would definitely stay here again!

Comfortable Stay in Bocas

The house was in a good location... out of Bocas Town but still pretty close to it for convenience. It was well-appointed, clean, and air conditioned. Communication with Veve, the property host, was excellent. She was very friendly and responsive.

Nice house, good location

The house is very nice and in a good location. It also had everything we needed to cook. We were also able to watch the Super Bowl as well as movies, etc. William was very helpful and quick to answer any questions we had. We would definitely stay there again!

We really enjoyed our stay. The house was very clean with wonderful amenities. The area is tranquil and beautiful. The owner was very friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. The property is a short taxi ride to town, and you can either call a taxi for pick up or hail one a little further down the road. Transportation is not an issue. Thank you for a wonderful experience!!

Nice Place Good Location

Enjoyed our stay here. Nice modern , well equipped home. My only complaint was having to pay extra for the extra room. For the price paid, it should have been included.

We almost became surfer wannabes here!

We were a group of 3 couples (2 living in Canada) in our early 50s, meeting up for our annual week of winter escape and this house suited our needs well. Though not on the water, there are distant views from the balcony of the tropical Caribbean water. The beds were super comfy and each bedroom has it's own spacious ensuite bathrooms. Kitchen is huge and modern. This place was built with high quality everything, appliances, fixtures, furniture and beds even! The gardens are pretty too. There is a full on water slide you can rent (we didn't but if you had teens or kids they might LOVE it!) I thought we might miss having a pool, but in all honesty we spent all our time at beaches that when we arrived home in the evening we welcomed being inside in the A/C with a cold beer and wifi!!! We rented the 2 golf carts which allowed us to do things (go to beaches, to the water taxi, to shop or eat) on our own timeline. We'd go into town for dinner each evening (there are some good places to eat- we all LOVED the Indian restaurant "Om" and La Casba.) Also we recommend taking a boat to the various islands. Make sure to include Isla Zapatillos. We were well-above the average age bracket of the 'surfer and backpacker" crowd, but still had a great time exploring the area for 4 days. Take a water taxi across to the nearby island to learn to surf and be sure to go to Bibi's for drinks and lunch and Happy Hour. We actually liked being a bit of a distance from Bocas town. It was REALLY relaxing being away from the crowds during the Carnaval holiday. If you turn left coming out of the gates of the estate, you will drive through an amazing jungle rainforest. Also try Scully's place on the beach (by the pizza place). We didn't care for Drago beach- too many people, dirtier feeling sand and more trash all strewn about.

Tanned and thankful

I am delighted to write this review as I was very happy with my stay. The home was beautiful and clean. The check in process was seamless. Leny, who checked us in, was very helpful and provided us with valuable information. She connected us with taxi info to get us back and forth into town. She also provided us with her phone number in the event that we needed additional information. The home was well known to the drivers due to the large water slide at the home, which made it easy to return to the house. The grounds keeper, Castillo, was friendly and as well. The grounds is very well kept and has many exotic flowers, which was a delight to this photographer. The house was conveniently located close to town, which made for a very short commute. the home also provided opportunity for relaxation. we had breakfast on the out door porch, which was a delight with the great weather. there was also a great view of the bay from that area as well. The owner Bill, was accessible and returned texts or emails promptly. We also communicated frequently before arriving to the home. The checkout process was also seamless. we called Leny, and she was there promptly with our damage deposit. I would highly recommend this property, as it is very beautiful and provided great opportunities for relaxation. You will not be disappointed with your stay. If the opportunity presents itself for another visit to Panama, I would definitely want to stay at this home. Thank you.

Well maintained, had everything we needed.

Loved staying in Bocas Del Toro. Nice to have Xbox for kids in evening. Great to use golf carts to get around! Saw plastic bottle village, playa Drago, Playa Bluff, and Paki point in less than 48 hrs. The water slide was so much fun!

Very nice property in Bocas - totally recommended

We had a great time in this property. We used all the rooms available to accommodate a large group and the house was impecable. Super clean kitchen with all the necessities and more. The rooms in the second level house were beautiful and the bathrooms as well. Great living room space, too bad that the cable tv did not work. Bill apologised many times for this and it was simply bad luck. The housekeeper forgot our arrival date and the rooms were not cleaned when we arrived but she worked until late at night to fix and clean everything for us. She was super nice as well. Great house if you are looking for a location outside town with great accessibility. Nice balcony and dining table and decent rooms on the ground floor. Would totally recommend and come back as soon as i can!

Beautiful property and a unique experience on the island

The home is beautiful. Everything is very high end. The property manager is very helpful but not at all intrusive. The property itself is amazing and we thought it was pretty cool to walk outside and see 3 horses just hanging out 100 feet from the door. The waterslide looks pretty cool but unfortunately it was under repair so we didn't get to use it. Bocas Del Toro is a fantastic place to spend a vacation. Downtown has a great eclectic vibe with locals, surfers, and backpackers. The food is amazing and almost everyone speaks English so no worries if your Spanish is terrible. The beaches offer something for everyone. Bluff beach has fantastic surf and definitely feels off the beaten path (even though it's only 20 mins from the house). Starfish beach is a 20 min cab ride and a 10 minute boat ride and offers completely calm water to just lounge around. There is also a small beach about 5 mins walk from the house which we found very convenient. We really enjoyed our trip and will definitely be staying at Brae Burn next time we visit Bocas.

One of a kind, perfect place!

We really couldn't have asked for a better experience. We didn't get to the home until later in the day, after dark, and the property manager was there waiting for us. She was extremely friendly and welcoming, and was excited to show us around. She encouraged us to make ourselves at home and to explore the property. The home itself is unreal. Sitting atop a hill on a quiet road with a private gate, the view of lush green trees and the water slide was amazing. Inside, the home is entirely updated with a big, fully stocked kitchen with nice copper cookware. The beds all had clean, good quality linens and the place was exceptionally clean. Each room had air conditioning that worked almost too well! It was also very up to date with WiFi, a large big screen TV, among many others. But not like it mattered too much as the outside property was perfect. It sits within the rain forest and horses wander the property. They're used to humans and would commonly come up to us while we lounged in the pool after exhausting ourselves on the waterslide. It was a HUGE water slide and just the right amount of adventure. Not to mention William had great communication when preparing for our visit. It put our minds at ease when arranging arrival times and had great site seeing recommendations. After extensive research for our trip on multiple home rental sites and hotel websites, we can easily say that we stayed in the most beautiful home on the island!

Great Home in a beautiful location.

Thanks to Leah, the property manager for all the help with our stay in Bocas. The home was great, Leah gave us an orientation and was very straight forward, the home is a gated property about a 5 minute drive to town. Taxi drivers are familiar with the property, just refer to it as CASA DE BILL and tell them its the house with the waterslide. The waterslide is NOT included with the price of the house, there was an hourly fee for the slide and there is also no pool at this house, just the landing zone where the slide ends. Home has modern finishings, very open and has a great balcony to enjoy, No complaints about the house, only docking 1 star for the "hidden cost" of the slide, we didnt end up using it. Also we all thought there would be a pool, but i guess thats our own fault for not doing research. I recommend this home to everyone, we were a group of 11, we slept pretty comfortably, any less than 11 will have ample room. Thanks again Leah, you were very kind and accomodating.

Great home in a quit area

This is a beautiful 3 story home very clean and well taken care of. The property sits on 50 acres with lots of vegetation. The owner was very accommodating. The only drawback was having to take taxis to get back and forth to town and not having the water slide working which was one of the reasons we booked the place.

The Perfect Panamanian Get Away

Our experience at the plantation was amazing! Even from the time of booking, Bill was extremely helpful and thorough with making sure we knew what to expect on our stay. To provide a little insight, we had a group of 10 (couples and friends) and had no issues with space while were were there. Frank and Stacy were very accommodating to anything that we needing, and even when we arrived a bit early, they allowed us to drop off our bags and head out to explore. The property and villa are gorgeous, very clean and well maintained. I had traveled and stayed at an eco-lodge similar to this one before, so I had a better understanding than the rest of my friends on how a rainwater recapture system worked, so we did find ourselves out of water one time, but luckily it rains just about everyday at some point, so it was quickly replenished. The location of the plantation is really great, and exactly what we wanted. Out of town and off the beaten path, however it was still very easy to get into town when we wanted to. It's also very close to the new Bocas Brewery and Beach. Taxi's to town are about $1-$3 per person depending on how busy it is. All in all, I would recommend this property to any large groups, families and friends. We loved our time there and can't wait to go back to see how the island continues to grow!

Very Impressed. Great Family Vacation Home

The home exceeded our expectations. This was our first time to Panama / Bocas and we didn't know what to expect. We were very happy when we arrived at the home that it was private and large enough to accommodate our family. The home was clean, tidy, and had everything you would expect (plus some) for a vacation home. The property was very nice as well. The owner was doing renovations to the property outside so there were always workers and noise present. However, we were allowed to have our family time. In time, we forgot about the work being done around us. The owner was accommodating with keeping the work as far away as possible while we were outside. Bill is a great owner. He was available at all hours and patient with all of our questions. Even when we needed him after hours, he was polite and accommodating. Everything we asked for from Bill, he provided. The location is great. The island is small so I don't think your ever too far away. However, we were in the middle of it all. Close to downtown and also close to the beaches. The best part about the home was the waterslide! You won't find one of these anywhere else on this island. We truly thought the waterslide was going to be similar to what you get at a nice hotel. When I saw the waterslide was the size of a waterpark slide, I was very impressed. Again, Bill was accommodating in getting it going during the times that worked best for us. The kids had an absolute blast...I think I was more disappointed than my kids when we had to go inside for the day! I would recommend Bill's property to friends, relatives, and others. Bill is a great owner and the property is truly a fantastic vacation home. We will be staying there again.

Wonderful property and owners!!!

This property is more than a house...it has it all!!! If you want to be a little away from the noise and the craziness of the town when it gets crowded but be close enough to ride your bike there for groceries or dinner then this is the perfect location. Plus you are within a property that is quiet, peaceful, has horses, and has a WATERSLIDE!!, and you can take nice walks among the property and feel like you are in the jungle, and then walk a few minutes and you are on a beautiful beach! What is not to love! Plus the inside is appointed with gorgeous cabinets, appliances, furniture, big screen tv and oh so comfortable beds!!! Love this property so much we are buying a lot and building our own home here. So warning do not come here unless you are ok with ending up wanting to stay forever! Bill and Caitlin the owners are wonderful..great decision to rent this place! Made wonderful life time friends.

Honeymoon memories we relive regularly

My wife and I traveled to Bocas Del Toro immediately after our wedding last year and stayed for 10 days at Burn Brae Plantation. This property is truly one of a kind in the area, while we scoured the island we never saw a more interesting place to stay. The amenities are like home and even better. The plantation property is simply beautiful. The first morning there i woke up very early and had coffee on the second floor porch. This is when I heard the howler monkies for the first time, that is one you won't forget! We spent all our time on adventures like hiking, sightseeing, photography, boating, snorkeling, zip- lining and the list goes on. We were very impressed with the dining choices in Bocas town and can't remember a bad meal. We used our legs, mopeds, bikes and taxis. Thank you to both Bill and Caitlin for their hospitality, we will be back soon for our anniversary.

EXCELLENT!

This was my first trip not only to Bocas, but to Panama. I travel to Costa Rica often and wanted to see something new. I was hesitant in my search for a hotel or house because I didn't know what to expect and finally booked Bills place. My friend and I were pleasantly surprised just how hospitable Bill was when picking us up at the airport and taking us to a good sized grocery to get supplies. I did all the planning, and my friend was very impressed the minute we stepped for in our condo. Everything we could have possibly needed was there, including a state of the art and fully equipped kitchen, spacious dining area and living room and very large washer and dryer. There was plenty of room for privacy, as my friend and I love our alone time with two ensuite bedrooms with very spacious bathrooms and a separate guest bathroom in the hallway. We really enjoyed our mornings and evening on the porch where we listened to music and drank local beers. Our condo was very clean, neat and had all of the amenities listed. Bill was super helpful with recommendations where to go and swayed us away from some common touristy things like boat tours which I appreciated as I like to live like a local when vacationing. I would highly recommend Burn Brae Plantation to any family member and friends. It was a 5 minutes taxi ride into the hustle and bustle of Town and far enough away to really feel like you are on holiday! I will definitely return!!!

Wonderful!

We stayed in the Villa at Burn Brae for three nights in August. There were six adults. The home is absolutely beautiful. The beds were very comfortable, the bathrooms nicely appointed, and the kitchen state of the art. Bill and his wife happened to be on-site during our stay and were very helpful with a number of things. Bill even brought us coconuts one day so that we could enjoy fresh coconut water. It is important to take note that this property is a bit out of town, so taxis are necessary. Unfortunately, not all the taxi drivers know where it is, so you may have to show them where to go. We would stay here again in a heartbeat. Thanks Bill and Caitlin--cant wait to come back and see the progress on the rest of the property.

I built this building. It took 4 years to finish because I was so picky and demanded only the best materials. I am also the owner of the development (Burn Brae Plantation). The property is 50 acres and very diverse. Great to explore.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

I love Bocas for it's great location in the world. Nice warm and clear waters. Great breezes most of the year. Five minutes from either town to the South or the big beaches to the North. Or a short walk down to a small beach in the bay. Wildlife just out your window. Great way to wake up.
