6/10 Normal

This small unit is extremely convenient and reasonably priced for downtown. One review notes it being very small, but that is very clear from the description. Parking is an added plus. So why only 3* ?There is a stained glass window high in the wall, and light from the adjacent building / parking garage let light into the room all night. If you are sensitive to light while trying to sleep, bring a sleep mask. More problematic is the 'window' a/c unit mounted in the wall 3 feet above the head of the bed. It is VERY noisy, and while I sleep with a white/brown noise machine normally, the "on - off" cycling interfered with sleep. Due to the proximity to the bed, it is very loud. The second night I tried turning it off - but an hour later I woke up with humidity in the room making me sweat (and this was wintertime), so I had to turn it back on.Upon raising these concerns (and a couple of others I won't address) with "Downtown Travel" (I assume they manage the unit) one response was something to the effect that this is a 'downtown crash pad' at a cheap price, what did you expect? I expected something a bit more conducive to sleep, not looking for anything special just a good night of sleep.
