Sleepy Deer Chalet! Spacious, Well-Appointed home on Beautiful Lake Wapogasset!

This wonderful, private Chalet-Style home is the perfect place to gather with your favorite people! Open-concept/very large, comfortable entertaining areas on two of the four levels. 4200 square feet! TONS of room to gather…or sneak off for a nap! The spacious, well-stocked “chef’s” kitchen is a great layout…and has all the essential cookware to prepare great meals without being crowded…or being excluded from the activity on the main level and patio. The wonderful, large dining table and benches seats 16 adults…and seemingly countless kids. It is great for games and puzzles. The adjoining granite kitchen island seats many more…and a covered patio is just outside the dining area. The large covered deck/patio features a propane gas grill, table space up to 18…and lots of deck space. Everyone can eat together! Plenty of service and storage space, too! Indoor and outdoor dining areas offer built-in buffet/bar serving space for your meals and “happy hours,” too! Bedrooms galore…7, in total- on 3 of the 4 levels. 4 bathrooms, all with bathing facilities. 2 TV areas…with cable channels, streaming and DVD use…to curl up for a movie night- or watch a ball game together. There is also lots of indoor and outdoor privacy- with quiet spaces to connect, play board games, try your hand at Hammerschlagen, create crafts, enjoy a book, or just enjoy the solitude. The largest of the decks overlooks the lower level patio area/fire pit area and the private lakefront beach. There is space in the yard and parking areas for most yard games. There is a swing-set/kiddie swing area around in the front yard, opposite the lake. An additional lakeside deck (and sand beach area) await! On the waterfront, a flat sand beach area…and an additional 16x14’ deck rests atop the boat house. It is an ideal spot to soak up some sun, keep an eye on the lake activity, or enjoy a cool beverage as you wind-down your day with an epic lake sunset….or some star-gazing. We provide Adirondack and Beach chairs. Lots of inflatable toys, a Lily pad float, 2 kayaks, 2 paddle boards and a canoe are available for you to use. A variety of life vests are provided- and required, please. Bring or Rent a boat…Take a dip off the private 40 foot dock, drop a fishing line, put your feet up, hop a boat…or paddle off for an adventure! Shallow graded access is ideal for all ages and swimmers. The lake offers excellent year-round fishing. Lots of “first fish” are caught- right off the dock! *Nearby “City of Lakes” Amery has small town charm with all the necessary amenities. Great food, multiple public golf courses, an apple orchard/maple syrup farm, and a great micro-brewery. Putt-putt golf, go-carts, and horseback riding. There are some very good dining options…quaint cafes, a bowling alley, taverns, antique shops, parks…and Apple River tubing and paddling. Multiple wineries, ice cream, coffee and candy shops, as well. On the north end of Lake Wapo- The Waterside Bar and Grill, a newly renovated restaurant/bar, is always a fun outing…It is 15 minutes by boat or car. Excellent food…and Live Music is often performed on the patio area. Our winter guests enjoy the “Miracle at Big Rock” Festival, Late Nov-January, each year. Wild Mountain Ski area is about 20 miles away, as well.
