Terms & Additional Fees:

In addition to the platform’s terms, a signed rental agreement is required to complete your reservation and will be sent after booking. Please note that failure to return the signed agreement may result in cancellation of your stay. Depending on your booking method, we may also require a copy of a government-issued ID and confirmation of the last four digits of the credit card on file.

Violations of agreement terms and house rules are subject to additional fines. Guest will be charged what is agreed to be nonpunitive amounts as follows:

>> Parties and events of any kind are strictly prohibited. Violations of this rule are subject to the following fees: $1,500 event fee, $300 trash removal fee, $500 refundable damage deposit.

>> Up to 2 dogs allowed with approval and a fee of $200. Please clean up after your dog and do not allow them on the furniture. All pet waste must be picked up. A $50 fee will apply if waste is left in the yard. Unattended pets must be crated. Unauthorized animals will result in additional fees. No cats allowed. Unauthorized animals are subject to a $500 fee per animal.

>> $500 or portion thereof for every 4 hrs of unauthorized late checkout.

>> Max occupancy: 10. A $150/person/day, or portion thereof, fee applies for unauthorized guests not registered with the booking or exceeding the occupancy limit.

>> Smoking or vaping in the property is prohibited. A $500 fee applies for smoking and/or order removal due to smoke or otherwise.

>> The invoiced amount plus $100 (or $100/hr. or portion thereof for staff hours) for replacement of missing/moved items, damages not covered by damage waiver, stains, bedbug treatment, technical support, pay-per-view purchases, tampering with equipment (pool [a crime], pool alarm, air conditioning, smoke/fire detectors and extinguishers), failure to return keys/passes/fobs, failure to keep pool gates and doors secured, extra cleaning (including due to illness), and similar acts and omissions.

>> $500+ for plumbing misuse, including flushing anything other than toilet paper.

Code compliance with local noise ordinances is required. Quiet hours are 10 PM - 8 AM.

Failure to comply with house rules or agreement terms may result in immediate removal from the property and cancellation of the remainder of the reservation. In such cases, the guest will not be entitled to a partial or full refund.

Cancellations and date changes are not permitted outside of the cancellation window, including for personal emergencies, weather, or other unforeseen events. We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance to protect against unexpected changes to your plans, particularly when traveling during seasons that are prone to extreme weather that may disrupt travel.

Wonderful view of the Matanzas area. Dolphins frequented the immediate dock area several times during our stay. The covered decks were helpful as they allowed us to enjoy being outdoors during both rainy and sunny days.

A relaxing and restful stay

We had such a wonderful stay here! There was plenty of space for everyone to spread out and feel comfortable, which made it especially relaxing. One of our favorite parts was watching dolphins right from the river view — such a special and peaceful experience. The setting was incredibly quiet and serene, making it the perfect place to unwind. We would absolutely stay here again!

Fantastic views

We recently stayed here and enjoyed it immensely. We enjoyed the multiple decks, views, lower deck kitchen and fire pit. We grilled out and experienced some fantastic sunsets from the dock.

Had a wonderful stay. Paddleboarded with dolphins. Wonderful balcony and a downstairs outdoor kitchen. Fresh water hose at dock and porch.

Very nice! Could've been a bit cleaner, but overall it was worth it. Also there were a couple of pet stains in one of the bedrooms and on the stairs. Water damage coming from the upstairs bathroom, leaking through the floor onto the other stairs. This should be addressed sooner than later. I would stay here again, as it was beautiful.

Dolphin Cove

We really enjoyed our stay with family of six and a couple dogs. It was a beautiful home with beautiful view from top two decks. So many small beaches to go to right up the road. Would stay again in heartbeat. Set up beautifuly for great family gathering and enjoying time together. The Shayla management company were wonderful and so easy to dealing with as well as extremely friendly. When pest control came out one day they called and kept us informed when they would be there. You can’t go wrong with this great house!!

Mixed Feelings

My family and I thourougly enjoyed the views of the water that the home provided and the kids LOVED chasing all the little crabs in the back by the dock. The dock was great for fishing but I found it misleading as to whether you can dock a boat there. We brought a boat and we’re unable to keep it at the house because of the tide which was not a part of the information in the house and would have been helpful being that we had to find a marina to accommodate us last minute on a holiday weekend and drive to and from the boat each day. BUT I should have also asked about boat access and I did not. The upstairs shower has old soaps and scum in it and my toddler niece found old food under the couch and the outdoor spaces did not appear to have been cleaned recently. The indoor spaces accommodated are family well but I think the bathrooms and entry ways need rugs to keep down the spread of dirt in the home. Overall we had a great time and would visit again if we don’t need our boat!
