Connemara/Westport Eco glamping pod No. 2
We are only 12 minutes from Westport on the N59 towards Leenane. This peaceful retreat makes it an ideal location to venture into the mountains just minutes away. This is our smallest pod of the two pods available with two single beds and is very comfortable and warm. You will love it. The showers and compost toilets are beside pod (green unit). There are two showers and two compost toilets. There are no flush toilets as this is eco-friendly.
The space
If you like camping with a touch of luxury then our glamping pods are the place to stay. With two single beds a small heater keeps the pod toasty even in freezing winter. A small porch on the outside is ideal for cooking or just relaxing watching the wildlife in the surrounding wood. Tea making facilities in pod include electric kettle, water, mugs, tea coffee and sugar and powdered milk.
The small porch is ideal for relaxing reading or have a glass of wine while watching the stars at night time. Check out our larger pod that sleeps 3 people. We are close to Connemara National park, the Western Way walking route, beautiful beaches, while our pods are located in one of the small natural oak woods still in existence in Ireland. Showers and compost toilets are available in a separate unit. This is a unisex unit with two showers and two compost toilets and a wash hand
hot and cold water. This is also drinking water.

Please respect the privacy of guests in the lodge. Do not ring the doorbell looking for instructions. Contact Michael directly on his mobile or leave a message or whattsapp.

It is a green unit with a metal roof. Led lights light up the path. It's only a small walk about 30 steps from the car and not steep.
Wifi is not fully working at the pod but is nearer the main lodge.
