Sunset Cabin: cabaña apartada y agradable en 210 acres en las montañas y el lago Ouachita

Sunset Cabin es una cabaña de calidad en Cornerstone Mountain Retreat Property con excelentes alojamientos en un bello entorno. Ubicado en su propio valle y la única vivienda en 210 acres con un lago privado de 12 acres, vistas a la montaña y maravillosas puestas de sol. Pesca, paseos en bote y natación en el lago. Aislado, pero accesible y a solo 1/2 milla de la autopista. Las mascotas son bienvenidas por una tarifa de $ 25 por mascota.

Sunset Cabin es una cabaña de tres pisos que se encuentra en el medio de nuestra propiedad Cornerstone de 210 acres. Lots of activities

Or while family loved this property. My nephew wanted a cabin in the woods experience and we were not disappointed. My other nephew gets bored easily so this property also had lots of activities to keep the teens entertained. Kayaking, canoeing, and fishing (catch and release) and some hiking trails. We also were able to bring a 4 wheeler and rented an ATV from a local company that picked up and dropped off at the cabin. There are lots of local atv trails we could easily access and enjoy not too far from the property.My family lives in Dallas and it was only a 4 hour drive. We would live to come back to this beautiful property that slept 4 adults and 2 teens comfortably.

We loved our stay in this lovely peaceful home! We loved the seclusion and the distant sounds of the trains. We enjoyed the hot tub and the trips to the pond so we could canoe and go fishing. Perfect location

Delightful seclusion

If you live in DFW this is about the shortest drive you can make to get into some Arkansas woods. A tiny 4.5 hour drive from FW and we were eyeball deep in harmonizing crickets and sweet summer hay. Drive for a 45 minutes to an hour and you can be in several different state parks amd trail area. It's an awesome home base as it is off the highway enough to provide privacy, but close enough to pop on in for a quick drive. We usually travel to Arkansas in the winter so I was not prepared for the vibrant and terrifying insect life. I'm sure it's a sign of a healthy ecosystem, but as a horror film fan, I take issue. 😆 Anyway, those walking sticks are otherwordly.

The Best

This was our 3rd visit and did not disappoint again. Cabin is comfortable and clean. The property is gorgeous. Love the little jaunt through the woods to the lake. Fishing is fabulous with catfish bass and crappies. We used the kayaks and canoe. Took a lovely nature hike. The hosts are wonderful and accommodating. We will be back for a 4th visit.

Cozy clean cabin

My family spent Thanksgiving here. The cabin was clean, had comfortable beds! And All the supplies you would need. Mary was available with quick responses to anything we asked. Hot tub super clean. Having a Fire pit and grill was great too! We Loved that the cabin had cable. And the pond was super close with easy access. Just a beautiful place!

End of summer getaway

Living in East Texas, I get sick of summer after 6 months, so we were hoping a stay in November would bring cool weather along with some changing leaf coloring. We weren’t disappointed. The cabin and grounds are a perfect getaway and it’s well taken care of. Mary is precise with the cabin instructions and it is well stocked with everything you need (besides food, and there is even some flour, sugar, spices, etc). The hot tub and fire pit on the deck was very relaxing. It was a very worthwhile trip and I hope we will be back soon.

Perfect Place to Stay!

This cabin was amazing! Everything was so clean and the scent diffusers added so much to the experience! I couldn't have asked for a better place to stay while taking Talimena Drive. If you're looking for a staycation destination, this is it! There's enough room for a group to spread out and do your own thing. We tried out the hot tub and it was amazing! We didn't have enough time this trip to start a fire in the fire pit, but will definitely do so next time, along with taking a trip down the road to the gorgeous lake. Mary was very accommodating with any needs we had, and let us stay a little over check-out time when our laundry wasn't dried completely, even though she didn't have to. Overall, I wholeheartedly recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a place to stay near Mena!

Don and Mary enjoy the Arkansas mountains and rural atmosphere for their home. Don personally built the cabin so the beautiful location could be shared with others. Everyone needs to 'get away' and relax from the hustle and bustle of life. Come to Cornerstone!!

We have a self-check-in system which everyone seems to like. It is the only rental on the property and lots of open space, beautiful forest setting, lake for swimming, fishing and kayaking!! There are kayaks, a canoe and life jackets available at no extra charge.

Not only is the cabin a warm and comfortable space for your friends and family, it is also a retreat, and a chance to get away for the hustle and bustle of life. The cabin is the only one on the 170 property and is surrounded by a mixed forest of hardwood and evergreens which provides privacy.
In addition, there is our 12 acre lake for your use, fishing, kayaking and canoeing with life jackets provided. In addition, there are many trails for hiking or riding your ATV's. Truly and special piece of property.
