The Vidanta Group of resorts is celebrating it’s 50th anniversary in 2024! Five decades of offering the highest level of comfort and luxury. It now operates 6 separate resort destinations across Mexico. Vidanta Nuevo Vallarta is the largest and I think the finest of them all! If you might be interested in one of the other locations, I can make reservation at any one of them, just let me know. Also 2024 will see the opening of Vidanta’s 7th resort in Los Cabo as well as Vidanta World at Nueva Vallarta. Vidanta World is a theme park offering rides, entertainment, shows, restaurants and more.

I have been coming to this Vidanta for several years and am always amazed by the resort’s beauty and an amazing staff that treats you like royalty. Here at Vidanta, luxury vacationing meets the natural beauty of this tropical paradise. During the day activities and adventures await or maybe just relaxing at one of the many pools at Vidanta. The Lazy River is a good way to do both. A gentle current carries you slowly through the Vidanta grounds, past numerous pools, through the tropical landscape and wonderful views.

If you have young family with you, I recommend The Kids Club! It welcomes children 5-12 for supervised activities during the day. They also offer an evening program of events for children; in case you may want some time for just adults.

Vidanta offers so much more than just a resort. Besides numerous pools and a mile+ of beach there is much more to do. Check with the Joy Club. Their counselors have lists of daily and weekly activities for children, adults and families.

There are 3 golf courses to try. The Lakes is a 10-hole, Par 3 course. The Nayar course is an 18-hole par 70 course. Originally designed by Jack Nicklaus. The latest is The Vallarta Vidanta course. Designed by Greg Norman and is now the home of the PGA Mexican Open

Then there is La Plaza. A 3-story shopping Boutique. I try and keep all on level 1, the mercado. Level 1 is our favorite area….a selection of fruits and vegetables, a deli, a wine shop!, chocolate shop and bakery!!! Levels 2 & 3 are more for clothing and accessories. Very handy when you realize someone did not pack their bathing suit.

While there is a kitchen in your suite there are over 40 restaurants and lounges to choose from. From Salum, a collection of food trucks, to Fine Dining. Of course there is Mexican food, from handheld tacos to sit down fine dining. How about a gourmet burger? French, Italian, Asian and more.
This reservation is for a seven-night stay at a Master Suite in The Grand Mayan Resort. This 2 bedroom/2 bath suite is over 1200 Sq Ft (approx. 112 Sq M) with 1 King bed and 2 Full beds and a sofabed. The open living area has an entertainment area, kitchen and dining areas. Each bedroom and the living area seems even bigger as one end has glass wall with sliding glass doors leading to the outdoor terrace. The large terraces come complete with views, chairs, loungers and a plunge pool! There is daily maid service To tidy up the suite each day and an evening turn down service which will prepare your vacation home for your return every evening. They also leave a small treat for my guests.

An added benefit is the platinum level wristband you will be given. I an owner/member of The Estates resort at Vidanta, it’s highest level and the platinum wristband offers my guests most of my privileges. It is your room key and also is the way to charge things to your room. The wristband has a electronic chip that will unlock your door and also allow you to charge items to your suite account. Vidanta is a cashless resort. Credit cards are fine but your wristband lets you leave your wallet back at your suite! Very handy when at the pool or beach.

7 nights here never seems like enough time for us. I think you will find the same thing. Do plan to spend a day in Puerta Vallarta itself. Don’t miss this colorful vibrant city that dates back many centuries. Be sure to visit the Malecon and the old city. Search out the artists and craftsmen scattered among the storefronts. Leatherwork, jewelry, ceramics are just a few things we have brought back.

Reservations are for 7 nights with a Friday, Saturday, Sunday or Monday check in. ALL resort fees are prepaid by me. Guests will be responsible for paying the local hotel tax, approximately $20 US, per night. A valid ID and credit card are required at check in. Vidanta also requires a deposit of $1000 to fund your room account. Upon check out all unused funds will be refunded.
