The location is great--right on the beach and great pool and facilities. Gym, tennis, pickleball and tranquility.

Very old and poor patio furniture, BBQ was good, the unit was good, but the patio furniture killed me, other wise we would have rented again next year. Every uncomfortable patio chairs, have hurt our backs, they should be upgrade. Thank you Larry Arnal

Disappointing condo amenities and absentee host

Resort lovely Condo needs a facelift Lots of appliance issues that we had to deal with ourselves. Fridge worked on and off. Lost lots of food, milk, meat as things would go off quickly Pillows lumpy, bedding too small, and very low quality old towels. 1 face cloth and 2 hand towels for entire place. When asked landlord if we could buy more and he could reimburse us, he refused Rather than trying to help, he said others hadn’t complained, as if we were the problem When I stressed the poor linens we’re not up to standard, he said I was being rude And he said you hate the condo, so what’s the point? We never said we hated it, we just had valid complaints Enjoyed the resort very much though

Worst Host Ever

Peninsula is a beautiful property with awesome staff. We recommend staying there. However, our host definitley had some issues keeping up with usQuestion prior to arrival. What kind of coffee maker do you have?Sergio-"I don't know".Am I the only one who thinks this is a big deal?Upon arrival we noticed a ton of ants. Reported multiple times and totally and I mean totally ignored. No response.Both the tv's in the master and guest bedrooms were broken. Hosts reply was "well I'm not in PV and it's not like I can just fly down to install a new one". Dishwasher broke half way through our 6 week stay. Never got fixed. AC in the master bedroom was not working. It took 2 weeks to get someone to come fix it.Host is not on site and does not have a responsible maintenance person. We spent at least 3 days in the room waiting for a maintenance person that never showed up. To top it all off, not once did Sergio even apologize for any of the inconveniences.

Excelente Lugar

El lugar está increíble, tienes acceso a la playa, es muy seguro, el departamento cuenta con todo lo que necesitas para para tener una estancia agradable. El complejo está muy bonito y completo, la verdad es que es una muy buena opción, lo que hay que considerar si lo usas es rentar un auto porque moverse es muy complicado, el Uber aún no funciona del todo bien y es muy caro transportarse en taxi

Great property.

The unit is on the first floor with views to the courtyard and gardens. The beds are comfortable and has a big balcony. You can hear the waves crashing from your balcony and the unit is close to the pool and beach. It’s nice that unit has beach towels, small cooler to bring drinks to pool and even a few sand toys and bogie boards. There’s A/C in every room. The only complain they could get a few extra pots and pans for the kitchen but we where able to cook with what they had. A few nights we ordered Uber eats delivery. The peninsula complex is beautiful and secured with great staff. From the front desk where you check in to the bell men and all the servers at the pool bar/restaurants. The pool is huge and the lounge chairs with umbrellas are great to lounge in and the servers are always ready to bring you a refreshing drink or food poolside( Tony and Alonzo where great!) or you can enjoy one of the many palapa shades on the beach with lounge chairs right on the sand. The pool and the beach make you feel that your at a top notch resort. I would definitely stay here again.

Overall go for the exterior property

I didn't love it but didn't hate it. The inside of the condo is really showing wear and tear and needs some maintenance. We also had an issue with cockroaches which freaked us out a bit given people we spoke to from other units didn't have that. Possibly since it's on the first floor. BUT, the condo facility is amazing. Best pool and beach you can ask for and having such a great restaurant with pool and beach service was so awesome. I would go back but not sure I'd stay in this specific unit unless I got a better price. But Sergio is very responsive to messages and super friendly which is great. The facility had a few problems while we were there,they shut off our condo's water 3x but once we called the front desk they tried to fix it as quick as they could.

Wonderful Stay

We were very pleased with the property and the location. Sergio was very responsive when we had questions. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The only thing we had trouble with was Wi-Fi and the ability to stay connected. We would recommend this property and will be back again.

Our second visit and we continue to be very happy. Well kept and excellent beach.

Air conditioning could use a little work and dishwasher needs to be replaced....other than that we were very happy and well cared for. Highly recommend this facility and we do plan on being back next year.

A nice setup

If you are looking for a quiet option outside the resort-all-inclusive format, this complex offers great value. Sergio has been responsive and accommodating. There are some basic food options around the pool. The infinity pool with an ocean view may be the best design you can find anywhere in Nuevo.

Peninsula Resort is an amazing place to enjoy one of the most beautiful beaches in Mexico. The location is ideal, just a few steps from the beach, and the pool is amazing.
