Welcome to Sand Castle Sanctuary at The Galvestonian — a relaxing beachfront escape where coastal comfort, Gulf views, and resort-style amenities create the perfect island getaway.

This beautifully inviting two-bedroom condo comfortably sleeps up to 6 guests and offers the ideal balance of relaxation and convenience for families, couples, or beach vacations with friends. Wake up to the soothing sounds of the waves, enjoy peaceful ocean breezes from your private balcony, and experience beachfront living at its finest.

The spacious primary suite features a luxurious king bed, while the guest bedroom offers two comfortable twin beds. A sleeper sofa provides additional accommodations, making this retreat both flexible and family-friendly. For added comfort and privacy, the condo includes both a combination tub/shower and a separate full walk-in shower.

Natural light fills the open-concept living area, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere perfect for relaxing after a day spent on the beach. The fully equipped kitchen comes stocked with dishes, cookware, and appliances, making meals and entertaining effortless throughout your stay.

We had an excellent stay in Sand Castle Sanctuary! The beach view was so beautiful ! Sitting on the lovely porch listening to the waves& watching the birds fly by in their patterned flight was so relaxing. The unit is clean, decorated nicely and updated very tastefully. The beds are comfortable & the kitchen had what we needed. We plan to stay here again. So grateful for our wonderful time!

New favorite place!

Reviewer Comments: We stumbled upon the Galvestonian last year when trying to find a decently priced place for our little family with 2 Littles to get away for a few days. We decided last minute to stay there again this year with now a third little and it was just wonderful. Everyone from the staff to other guests were incredibly nice and helpful, and the place as a whole is very family friendly! They have a huge pool with PLENTY of shaded seating around it, a huge deck for picnics and hanging out, and tons of grass spaces for play near the grills. This will be our new yearly spot to stay!!

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great location but the mgmt company is stuffy and a little overbearing. They act like renters are an inconvenience. Not all of them but many. Unit 203 was clean but needs some TLC. One hairdryer cracked. Other so old it blew silver paint all over you when you turned it on. Cabinets water damaged in bathroom. Lampshade cracked. Fridge opens wrong direction so hard to get things in and out. Standing shower super tiny.

Room was very clean. Everything we needed during our stay was provided (paper towels, toilet paper, dishes, dish soap, shampoo, conditioner, etc.) We could see the beach from the master bedroom and living room. Very nice!!

It’s not bad but not luxury

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: It’s a good property that is conveniently located and decently maintained. It’s aging though, and it shows: sticky doors, scuffed and chipped tiles, stains, cracks, and general damage from just being a beach property. Inconsistent amenities in the rooms, broken appliances, the worst toilet paper and paper towels ever (hint-bring your own!) We come here to be with family and since that’s our focus, we are fine. But it’s definitely not a luxury stay.
