Con impresionantes vistas al mar y grandes espacios abiertos, disfruta del lujo de una hermosa casa de planta abierta en Cape Cod, donde el calor y la luz solar son abundantes. Se encuentra a poca distancia de la playa y 10 min. de LAX. Situada en una calle tranquila en la atractiva sección de Hill, la casa tiene televisores y puertas panorámicas que conducen a la amplia área de la piscina. Este oasis de 4300 pies cuadrados es perfecto para relajarse. Hay chimeneas en la sala de estar y la suite principal, con una hermosa fogata junto a la piscina. Arriba, la Master Suite es un santuario de calma y tranquilidad. La suite de invitados puede dormir 2; Las 2 habitaciones de la planta baja pueden dormir 4 y tienen 2 baños compartidos. Arriba, la cocina tiene una gran isla central de granito con taburetes y una acogedora área de desayuno de gran tamaño. También hay un baño y medio fuera de la cocina. La habitación familiar bien equipada se abre al área de la cocina con un televisor de plasma y cómodos sofás. La barbacoa en la terraza de la cocina da al área de la piscina, con tumbonas para tomar el sol. El área de la piscina tiene una gran cantidad de muebles de patio para una sensación zen perfecta. El cuarto de lavado tiene una lavadora / secadora / tabla de planchar y ropa de cama completa. Hay 3 espacios de estacionamiento en el camino de entrada y un montón de estacionamiento en la calle a lo largo del porche envolvente con una gran loma cubierta de hierba.

Very satisfied with our stay!

I rented this house to throw a surprise bridal shower/bachelorette weekend for a close friend. 10 ladies in our early 30's met here on a Friday afternoon and had a fantastic weekend. The house is very spacious. There were beds for everyone and no one slept on a couch. There were enough bathrooms for 10 women to get ready at the same time (in particular the master bathroom is monstrous) without any incidents. We used the pool on Saturday and it was really nice, because despite being in the low 70's out, the pool was heated and we really enjoyed that. We had plenty of common space inside to have different bridal activities and games, and we especially liked that the kitchen was upstairs with the amazing ocean views. We put the house-wide stereo system to good use (we plugged in our iPhones directly), and didn't have any problems using the TV or wifi. Really, we were all thoroughly satisfied. I got feedback throughout the weekend that the house was a great choice and incredible find, and I know for certain that it was cleaned inside and out both directly before we arrived (I saw the pool man leaving) and as soon as we checked out (I had a nice chat with the cleaning lady). We would definitely rent again, especially at that price!

Exceeded my high expectations! Lots of attention to details by owner!

I stayed with my family for a short vacation here, and could not have asked for a better home to enjoy during our stay. Very very spacious, great layout, lots of separate spaces for family to spread out away from each other, but still all together in the same home. The owner maintains the property in superior condition, there is a lot of attention to details to help make your stay cozy and enjoyable -- you come here to relax right? Fantastic sunset and ocean views from the entire second level, we were lucky and had a great sunset with lots of beautiful clouds and colors. High ceilings in the entire second level, and two large living areas with a great open layout kitchen. Purified drinking water spout in the kitchen sink also. The house was very clean and well kept, the photos are very accurate, you will not be disappointed. The owner put together a wonderful binder with information about the house, and lots of great recommendations for restaurants and local eateries. "Martha's" for breakfast was great! Very kind, honest, and helpful owner, a pleasure to rent from. All in all, highly recommend this house!

Response to unfair review

This is in response to the totally unfair and inaccurate review given in Dec 2012 by "sorely disappointed". If I hadn't seen the owner's response, I would have really thought that this person was reviewing a completely different house. I rented this house for 4 weeks in 2012, and loved the house so much, that I am renting it again this summer. The owner was always so helpful and made the renting process so smooth. I experienced none of the negative things that this renter wrote about, and it doesn't seem that the people renting right before and after him, had as well. In fact, they both seemed to enjoy the house as much as I, and every other renter here, did. I just had to respond because I think it's so unfair to use this site for a "revenge" review. I am looking forward to our next stay at this house.

Amazing stay

We stayed a long weekend and really enjoyed Carol's house. Carol greeted us at check in and showed us around. she was also very accessible and helpful with any questions we had. Thank you very much for making our stay so enjoyable. I would rent from Carol in the future and would encourage others to as well.

Awful - bug bites and other nasty bits

We paid for a week, but only ended up staying 3 nights it was so nasty. We left after much tossing and turning on night 2, and waking up with bug bites. The owner still charged us for the whole week. But let's back up... When we walked up we could see the house is in poor condition with peeling paint and the siding riddled with dry rot. We were greeted by 1 ply toilet paper, 1 garbage bag for the week, detergent for 1(!) load of dishes, 1/2 roll of paper towels, little hand soap, no other bathroom supplies (shampoo, bath soap, etc) and a cold shower upstairs. Instructions said to replace any laundry detergent we used or she would charge us for it. And the carpeted master bathroom with the plunger sitting next to the toilet, stains surrounding it, and sketchy plumbing (clogged on us once, and that plunger went in there and then right back on the nasty carpet where we found it) - let me just say ick! Speaking of stains, the blue quilt in the upstairs bedroom had several white ones. Yuck. The pool was cold and it was two days before we could get it warm enough for a swim. The downstairs shower head was about shoulder height for an adult. The exterior of the house had some serious dry rot going on, and the bathrooms had moldy/rotting base boards. Electrical was sketchy, with a missing fixture and dangling cover in the master bath, the light randomly flicking on and off in the pool (thought we were going to get electrocuted), switches for the jacuzzi jets that didn't work right and randomly turned back on in the middle of the night, GFCI that wouldn't come back on for the backyard lights, and missing light bulb in the master bedside lamp (dangerous for our toddler). The dead bolt on the master bedroom was missing, so we had to barricade the door with a chair to keep the door closed. To add insult to injury, the owner charged us for the missing deadbolt! If you're looking for a nice play to vacation in the South Bay, this place isn't it. We were hoping for a nice week's vacation with the extended family and were sorely disappointed.

Spacious! Great views! Great owner!

We had fantastic stay! We live close by so I was able to sneak a peek before we rented, and the house is so much more than the photos show. There are amazing views from virtually every location in the house. The layout is unique offering ample room for gatherings while allowing private space to get away at the same time. Very spacious and very comfortable. There was ample parking and while I would recommend a car, it's not absolutely necessary. We missed having that wonderful fire pit when it was time to leave. Also, it was nice to have an enormous front yard, which is hard to come by in the area. The house is located in one of the most sought after neighborhoods of Manhattan Beach. It's less than a 10 walk to the beach and less than 5 minute walk to Valley Park (very nice park!) The house is equipped with everything one would need and Carol was accommodating and available to answer any questions at any time during our stay. We wanted to buy the house, but she politely declined at the time.

Beautiful property in Manhattan Beach, excellent place to stay!

We had an absolutely wonderful time at the Ocean View Cape Cod Villa in Manhattan Beach. The property is immaculate, even more beautiful that the photos suggest! (They really do not do the inside of the house justice!). We had everything we needed in the house, and the hot tub and pool were wonderful after a long day. The fire pit (which is a gas pit) was awesome-we spent many evenings sitting around the fire pit talking. I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking to stay in Manhattan Beach with family or friends.

A wonderful beach home!

We stayed here for 5 weeks with our two small children, and it was a lovely home for our family. It was so spacious and very comfortable. We spent most of our time in the kitchen/family room area - which was wide open and great for entertaining and cooking dinner at night. Centrally located with views of the ocean in a safe, quiet neighborhood. Would highly recommend and would stay there again!

Wonderful Accommodation

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to go back again next year - for longer!! The beach is walking distance and the pool was an added bonus for our three boys. Great location and great views. The house is very open and light, but cozy. The open kitchen/family room is perfect since everyone always hangs out in the kitchen. The kitchen was very well stocked to meet all cooking needs. Thanks for sharing your house!

Great 4 week stay

We rented this property four weeks this summer, for us and my extended family. This house worked perfectly for us. Although we were many, it did not feel crowded at all, not even when we had even more guests over for dinner. The house is full of light an sun, with great views of the ocean. The pool was an added bonus for everyone. The listing describes the house accurately, looks better in real life! The owner was always available when minor issues with house came up, and fixed them quickly. It was a pleasure to rent from her, and we were happy with our stay. We definitly hope to rent it again.

Amazing Property!

We stayed here for my son's wedding w/my whole family and this house was more than I could have asked for: family room, living room, sitting room as well as large kitchen, dining room, laundry room and wonderful pool & jacuzzi; easily sleeps 10. The owner was so helpful in answering all of my questions and the house was beautiful & clean w/room for everyone to spread out. This house was so awesome, all of my sisters want to find a time next year when we can stay here again! 15 minutes from LAX, close to any store you could need, and within walking distance to the beach. Thank you for sharing your wonderful home.

Manhattan Beach House

The house was lovely and very spacious! We felt comfortable in the kitchen and had many great meals as our friends and family gathered. The beach was a quick drive and I was thrilled we selected this home for our conference in LA. We would definitely stay here again!

This location is a short walk to the beach ( located west of Sepulveda!) 10 mins to LAX and 30 mins to Disneyland.
