Great Place & Location

This was a perfect place to stay while my husband and I visited Quebec City. It was clean and spacious. We loved how close it was to Old Quebec. It was easy to walk everywhere. I highly recommend staying here!

Great location

The room was very good size and only a few blocks away from Old Quebec. The hosts were extremely helpful and very accommodating of our late arrival. I would highly recommend this unit for anyone visiting Quebec.

Quebec Central!

This is an excellent location to explore Quebec. Almost everywhere in the city is accessible on foot, with two nearby grocery stores and a great coffee shop (St-Jean) a block away. The staff was very nice and very helpful! Highly recommended *****

Nice stay

Being within walking distance of the Old City was great. Overlooking a bus stop was not ideal and noisy at times. The condo was comfortable enough and well outfitted - a bit sterile in terms of decor but functional. Bathroom was large for the size of the condo, bed was comfortable and one of us slept on the couch and it was comfortable too.

Loved it

Had a great time. Close to shopping and restaurants. The apartment itself was a joy, loved the modernist decor, certainly more than enough room for two, one complete wall of windows so there was plenty of light, and perfect for watching it snow, and with all the accouterments we needed. The concierge was friendly and very patient with a pair of English speakers. No complaints whatsoever..

Great location

We particularly enjoyed the stay in the condo. For the same price as a hotel, you get a lot more than usual. The negatives are the administrative fee (very high and not included in the posted price), a hard bed and a stove that did not work. The location is great however. Overall, a mixed blessing as they say.

Nice condo, great location

Large studio unit will full kitchen and W/D had everything we needed for three days in Quebec City. Location is a quick walk into the old walled city with lots of restaurants and shops, and not much farther to the riverfront. We would definitely stay there again.

Excellent location

It is a central location to everywhere. The room is clean. The queen/double bed is comfortable. My teenage daughter slept on the sofa bed which usually is terrible but she said it is comfortable. Will book again if we come back next time.

Great location, simple and comfortable

Great location. Nice place: good aesthetic, simple and comfortable, all basics covered. We let the concierge know about the few things that were not working properly- hopefully those will be fixed. We found the hvac confusing with no instructions. We enjoyed our stay very much.

This was a great stay. Upon arrival the front desk staff member was very helpful and kind, and provided clear information about the property. The room, though small (as advertised,) was spotlessly clean and had all the amenities you'd need for stay of nearly any duration. The location was perfect... right in the heart of the city and a short walk from many top attractions. 5 minutes to the best pastry shop in the city (Epi Fanny) and 15 minutes to Frontenac and Quartier Petit Champlain. We'll be back!

Excellent location and lovely apartment

Perfect location- close to the old city and to Sainte Jean. All the conveniences you need - kitchen, laundry, etc. Reception staff was extremely helpful with airport transportation and touring the environs. Would definitely stay here again.

Excellent studio, location & organization - family friendly

I strongly recommend this VRBO. It is perfectly located for walking to old quebec, very nicely appointed and hosted by the condo organization that staffs the front desk 18 hours a day (or so) and is very clearly there to keep you happy. we will be back. it is noteworthy that there are many rentable units in this building and the organization itself rents them directly through their website. So why the 4 stars for accuracy of its ad? If you look at the excellent pictures of the space it is very clear that the "bedroom" is fully open to the living room, the base the bed being only 2 feet from the living room couch. The room is however advertised as "one-bedroom" and not studio. From the pictures we knew what we were getting, however I believe there is a studio designation that would be more accurate you get. In turn, renting within the condo, gives you access to a gym space and some very reasonable looking cardio equipment... Which they could also advertise, so things balance out. After walking dozens of kilometres each day up and down hills of Québec city, we didn't cardio equipment. Overall, this is an excellent space, great organization, and we most certainly will be back. We have already recommended this unit to family members and will likely rent here explicitly every time we return to Québec city. Highly recommended

Perfect place for our weekend in QC

For our three night stay in QC we tried to choose a convenient, well priced location, with basic apartment amenities. The Montcalm was perfect; more than we could have asked for. The front desk staff was so friendly and welcoming, parking was easy, and the apartment was clean and very well equipped. Best of all it was so close to everything; restaurants, cafes, the old city, and the park. We enjoyed every minute.
