Bachelor Ski Resort, which makes this a pivotal location for the perfect getaway to experience all that Bend has to offer.

Newly remodeled and updated with new stainless steel appliances, ductless air conditioning and heating, light fixtures, blinds, paint and furnishings in 2025, this home offers three comfortable queen bedrooms, two bathrooms (newly added/remodeled), living room with three ceiling fans, large smart TV, natural gas stove fireplace, fully equipped kitchen, seated dining for six, two work stations w monitors, complete with a washer and dryer.

The location of the home is so convenient. I was able to walk downtown within a few minutes and ran into some deer on my morning walk. I really enjoyed how quiet the neighborhood was.

Relaxing stay!

Everything we needed was either in the house or a beautiful half-mile walk away through mid-October fall foliage. Quiet, peaceful, somehow both cozy and spacious at the same time for three guests. We had a minor issue with the TV and they sent someone out within 30 minutes. Would definitely, definitely stay again!

Wonderful location, well stocked home

The location is AMAZING. We could easily walk to the river, drake park, downtown and Old Mill. The neighborhood is quiet and nice. The home itself was very well stocked. The bedding was comfortable with ample amount of pillows. The kitchen was stocked well with nice dishes and all the utensils you would need as well as the essentials like salt and pepper, laundry detergent, etc. We are planning to come back again next year and will be staying at this home again!

Nice location, needs some improvements

St Helens Place Cottage has an incredible location. Right near downtown and walking distance to the river. Finding it was easy, although it was tricky to find the alley where the parking spots are located. The size of the space was large. There is lots of light and the updated bathrooms were a great addition. Unfortunately, the floor was not very clean. Our feet were black after walking around without shoes on. The couches were stained too, but maybe that's to be expected in a rental. We didn't feel completely safe (although I'm sure Bend is a safe town), since they only update one of the digital locks for the new renters. I reached out to agency about this, but they said it was something that they couldn't control and that most visitors aren't local anyway. This wasn't very reassuring. The other issue, which had I known before renting may have been a make or break, was that there is someone living or renting below this unit. I have 2 loud toddlers and we were left a very kindly worded note about trying to keep the volume down so as not to disturb the other renter below. The rest of the trip we were constantly trying to keep the kids quieter which is a hard thing to do for their ages. I completely understand about sharing walls or floors with another unit and the last thing I want to do is to disturb others. However, while on vacation, I did not want to be bothered by this. All in all, it was a good spot for us as a family and you can't beat the location near the river. The rental agency was helpful and responsive as well.
