Beautiful Summer Getaway with Friends

Property is brand new and beautiful. The location is lovely and has amazing access to the beach and lots of great options for dining and fun. Thanks so much for the quick and helpful responses from Foster, the property manager with the few issues and questions that we had! We hope to be back to visit again!

Spectacular!

House was awesome! Long weekend with 3 familes and we all fit comfortably. House is clean, beds and bedding are comfy and kitchen is fully stocked. The property manager was accessible and responsive. Highly recommend this property!

Oh, the views!

We had the best week at On the Rocks! We have 19 in our party and all slept comfortably on wonderful beds. The kitchen was perfectly stocked with all the things you could ever need with plenty of plates, cups, silverware, pots and pans you could ever need. The two dishwashers were the best for our large party. Walking out to the beach at low tide was so fun to looks for shells. We enjoyed watching the sun rise each morning off the left side of the back decks. The house is beautifully decorated and had plenty of social space on all three floors. We were on the quiet end of the island, which we preferred, and it was only a 7 or 8 min drive to restaurants and shops. Missing the house and that ocean view already!

On the Rocks was FANTASTIC!!! Everything was well thought out in this layout and provided plenty of spaces to hang out from pool side games, bottom floor game room with the ping pong table, second floor common area for games, large sectoinal in the family room for chiling and a HUGE 12 person table. Everything in the kitchen was labels to know how many and where everything went. This touched a special place for my OCD nature :) The decks on each floor were very spacious and relaxing in both the front and the back of the house. The rooms/bathrooms were great and provided plenty of comfortable living space. When we arrived everything was very clean and you could tell a lot of pride is taken in this place.The close proximity to the beach made it a short walk to go to/from the beach whenever we wanted. Plus, there was an uobstrucuted view to the water. Great to sit on the deck every morning/evening and take it in. The only minor onte would be for a house this size meant for large groups could offer a larger beach shade beyond the umbrellas.

Blew Away Our Expectations

This is a new property, very well designed and cleverly decorated. Add to that: it was immaculately clean. There is a large, high def TV and ensuite bathroom in all adult bedrooms and the game room and poolside. Bed linens were super crisp and comfortable, I think they were pressed/ironed, reminded me of a high end London, UK hotel. Towels, coffeemakers (incl.Keurig), beach gear, pool gear, family games, were all provided. The Kitchen had tons of cooking gear and utensils, cups/bowls/glasses of all kinds, 2 fridges and 2 dishwashers, all new. Very nice pool and hot tub. Host was very responsive to requests. The big, round dining table had 12 chairs (!!!) and we all loved the oversized kitchen island seating. This would be a perfect place for big sports or event fans, or just people wanting to keep up with the news while cooking, swimming, ping pong. Nearby new construction was going on, but the house is very quiet on the inside, nor could we hear each other in separate rooms. Toilets and showers ran quietly. The beach is at one end of Ocean Isle and had tidal pools at low tide, which the young ones loved. The elevator worked well and had many safety features: I would emphasize that with all home elevators everyone MUST read and understand how to use them BEFORE getting into one, they do work a bit differently than commercial elevators. Honestly, I have no complaints, super attention to detail here.
