Are you looking for the perfect place for your family getaway to Okoboji, IA? The yellow house on East Lake is set up for all your family needs! Relax and sleep comfortably in this 4-bedroom, 2.5 bath, plus bonus area home! Bonus area includes a pull-out couch that comfortably sleeps two. Parking right on site. The patio boasts lake views, with 4 Adirondack chairs, a grill, & picnic table. Watch the sunset every evening from the patio and enjoy fishing and kayaking right off the dock. Paradise pad and kayaks for use with rental. There is yard space for lawn games both in front of & back of the house. Equipped with all kitchen utensils and amenities. Washer/drier on site. 1.2 miles from Bridges Bay Waterpark, 1.8 miles to Arnolds Park, 2 miles to golf courses, and more! This property is best set up for 8 guests, with a max of 10. Two external cameras on site. Dock usage for boat or any PWC requires pre-approval and is an additional $50 per night. Max of 10 guests firm.

Really nice house right on the lake! Kids loved being able to fish off the dock. Easy check in-check out process! Would definitely stay here again.

Yellow House Paradise

Awesome place to stay! Close to Arnold’s Park and amazing restaurants. The Yellow house is well equipped and to top it off the sunsets are AMAZING! Will definitely be going back there!

Great Lakeside Property

The location on the lake was great! The house was decorated cute and was clean. We loved all the windows facing the lake and it gave the house such a relaxing vibe. We will definitely stay again!

We loved staying here right on the lake, the sunsets were amazing! Amanda was a great host and loved the house, the place was clean and close to everything. If you’re looking for a relaxing place to stay on the lake, this is it. Highly recommend!

Wonderful Okoboji Stay

This home was perfect for our 10 ladies to stay on our annual girls weekend! The location was amazing, a short drive to dining and shopping! Some of our favorites from the weekend were hanging out on the dock at the house, karaoke at Lost Gar & Paddlefish Bar, Mojito sandpails at Barefoot Bar, and renting a boat (and captain!) for a day to experience the lake! The home had everything we needed- and then some! :)

Would love to stay again!

The Yellow House was just what we were looking for. Easy to find. Close to activities. Awesome dock and lake access. Established shade trees. Kayaks and lake mat were very nice to have. Plenty of sleeping room. Kitchen very functional. Great to have 2 1/2 baths and laundry. Very comfortable for 10 people. We all really enjoyed the Yellow House!

** 6 stars - exceptional stay with a stunning lake view!

Our stay at this property was nothing short of amazing! The house was impeccably clean, beautifully maintained, and offered a breathtaking view of the lake that we couldn't get enough of. Waking up to that view each morning was an absolute dream. The location is perfect for anyone looking to enjoy everything Okoboji has to offer. We had easy access to all the amenities, from local restaurants to water activities. Whether we wanted to relax by the lake or explore the area, everything was conveniently close by. The host was responsive and accommodating, making our experience seamless from start to finish. We can't recommend this place enough and will definitely be returning!

Hi! My name is Amanda. As a little girl I grew up going to Okoboji EVERY summer. My mom started that tradition with our family as her parents took her and her brothers to Okoboji every summer while she was growing up. My best childhood memories include Okoboji! Arnolds Park, go-karting, mini golf at the ranch, boating, the beach, arcade, Betsy's Diner, pool, bike-riding, and all things summer! I wanted to share those same memories with my kiddos and create new family memories for years to come. Our family (my husband, two kiddos, and three dogs,) are happiest when out on the lake!

We have been busy this winter making our "home away from home," and we are excited to share it with you! If you have any questions about the little yellow cabin on East Lake, or travel to Okoboji, please reach out and ASK. We look forward to chatting with you.
