Historic Charm: Built in the early 20th century, our “Shotgun Style” bungalow retains its historic character with original hardwood floors, decorative molding, and stained glass windows. You'll feel like you've stepped back in time while still enjoying all the modern amenities and comfort.

Guests will have access to the entire house, private backyard, and one dedicated parking spot and street parking, accessible via the rear alley. Also, there is street parking available, please read signage for hours.

The home is updated and although historic has the comfort of a modern home.
We employ stringent cleaning practices after every guest, including the use of non toxic cleaning products.
There is a QUEEN sized bed in the front bourbon room, this room is not private but there are blackout shades, instructions for the very comfortable trim-fold bed including video are on the console. Please move the bed away from the wall to open.
Dining table has a leaf in the laundry closet.
Kids: Pack n play with sheets are in the master closet.
Highchair in the storage closet by the main bathroom.

We stayed here for the Kentucky Derby and it was the absolute perfect spot. Close enough to Churchill Downs that we easily ubered there but far enough away to be nestled in a peaceful and quiet neighborhood. The house was GORGEOUS. The attention to detail-from the coffee maker options, hand blender, high quality shampoos and conditioners, nice hair dryer, Derby-esque wall decor, dimmable lighting, furniture, security of the door locks, etc. We absolutely loved it here. Picture perfect.

We loved staying at Brenda’s house. Not only was it the cleanest Airbnb we’ve ever stayed in, it had luxe extras such as a super comfy bed, thick towels, extra blankets and more. Will definitely stay here again!
