Such a delightful space! We stayed here for the weekend while visiting friends and going to a wedding nearby. It was in such a convenient location, and covered all of our needs for the weekend.

We really enjoyed our stay. The landscaping was lovely when you sit outside on the patio. Feels secluded but you are really close to so many things to do. Was unsure when booking about the cedar wet room but absolutely loved it while we were there. Our host was great, met us on arrival and gave us the quick tour. He had left great recommendations for local places as well. I would definitely recommend a stay.

Beautiful surroundings with birds chirping, interesting flora & stone spaces. Room is comfy and the japanese soaking tub is a real treat.

Where to begin - this stay exceeded my expectations, quiet, private, clean, safe and the wet room is amazing, a soaking Japanese tub and a rain shower! The hosts were both very hospitable. The bed was super comfortable, kitchen came stocked with condiments, a French press and Italian blend coffee, outside seating and an outside dining area, beautiful garden view, plenty of parking, ten minutes from either Easthampton or Northampton, great location. I slept with the windows open listening to the outdoors, dog friendly, also a sound system - Sonos, will definitely be back, worth the long journey from Florida.

It’s a lovely setting off the beaten path. Quiet. Lots of crickets and starlight. It was also a good spot to chill out with AC and a spa like shower with two choices of shower heads in the open style shower bathroom. Jim and John were kind hosts who even looked after my dog one afternoon. Highly recommend. And I’d definitely stay there again.

Restful and unique

We enjoyed a relaxing few days in the Bamboo Cabin. The bed was comfy and the linen sheets were a treat. John (the host) was kind and amenable.

Great place to stay

The owner of the property was very nice and accommodating. The location is great. Everything needed was within 5 minutes while the property made you feel out in the country. Was a very cozy place to stay.

Lovely spot

I love staying here. John and Jim have created a quiet, artsy spot in a beautiful meadow which feels far away from town but it isn’t. The apartment has everything you need and is so well taken care of- full of vintage vibes. You can see the care they put in their property as well and I love taking walks and sitting in the garden in the evenings. Can’t wait to return.

Very Enjoyable Stay

Great area and great location -- particularly enjoyed watching the chipmunks from the patio. Great wifi, quiet despite being adjacent to other unit (thick walls!), halfway between Northampton and Easthampton, both worth checking out

Lovely stay

John and Jim have created a real oasis of beauty and calm. We loved this place - the garden, the quiet and the hosts' attenton - friendly, caring, helpful. It is a wonderful location for exploring; and access to wonderful restaurants, bakeries and the Smith College campus.

Great Place for a Getaway

My stay was amazing! The apartment is clean, quiet and comfortable, and John provided some great restaurant ideas. The chairs are super comfortable, and the soaking tub is great for relaxing. I can't wait to come back in the summer, because the outfoor seating areas look like they'll be amazing when the weather is nicer.

Great place to stay

Cute little place. Easy to find with hosts specific directions. Very quiet. Host told me about a plumbing issue discovered before we arrived and kept me updated on status of repair. We were only minimally inconvenienced. Would stay here again.

We owned and operated a popular natural foods restaurant for over 20 years (1991-2012) on the Smith College campus. Green Street Café has been featured in many national and international publications (Gourmet, Bon Appetit, Yankee, New York Times, Boston Globe...). We now farm Greens Treat (the Cafe's former gardens) and provide organic fruit, vegetables, herbs and flowers for 20 garden share members. We have 2 friendly dogs.

The house and gardens sit on a south facing slope. Sunny and warm all year round with spectacular soil for our gardens. And the view - calming.
