Welcome to Casa Del Sol, a charming 2/1 retreat nestled in Historic Downtown St. Augustine! Built in 1928, our family and dog-friendly abode offers a cozy atmosphere and unbeatable proximity to all the treasures this historic city has to offer. Just steps from vibrant St. George Street, immerse yourself in St. Augustine's rich history and culture. Flagler College is a short stroll away, and the shores of St. Augustine Beach are just a 15-minute drive from our doorstep.
Located just a stone's throw away from the vibrant St. George Street, our Casa Del Sol (house of the sun) cottage boasts a prime location where you can immerse yourself in the rich history and culture of St. Augustine.
As you step inside, you'll be greeted by an inviting living area seamlessly connected to the kitchen and dining space. Relax on the ample seating while enjoying entertainment on the large smart TV, or gather around the dining table to enjoy time together.
Our well-equipped kitchen features stainless steel appliances, including a range/oven, dishwasher, and more, allowing you to whip up delicious meals during your stay. The dining room offers ample space for gathering around the table, allowing guests to spread out comfortably. Additionally, a separate desk space and chair are provided for those needing to catch up on work or attend to tasks. And for coffee enthusiasts, our coffee/tea station offers a variety of brewing options to start your day off right. Enjoy the flexibility and convenience of these dedicated areas during your stay!

Rest and rejuvenate in our two cozy bedrooms, each appointed with king beds, blackout curtains, and smart TVs for your entertainment. The bathroom, situated between the bedrooms, offers a convenient shower to freshen up after a day of exploration.
For moments of harmony and balance, our Harmony corner provides a basket full of essential self-care amenities, including a yoga mat, foam roller, yoga blocks, stretch bands, essential oil sprays and more. And for our furry friends, we offer a range of amenities, from a crate & bedding, bowls, leash, poop bags and toys to assure your pet's stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible!
Nestled in a peaceful neighborhood at the end of a historic, narrow street, Casa Del Sol offers a tranquil retreat where you can unwind and recharge amidst the charm of St. Augustine. Great place. We walked to everything except the beach (easy drive). Clean, comfortable, quiet, very well appointed. Loved the porch (with the fun festive lights) and the coffee bar. The snacks and pet supplies were a nice touch. Our pooch also enjoyed and we appreciated the pet friendly. Responsive host with great detailed instructions. Easy check in and out. We left an item and the host found and offered to ship back. Would stay again.

Perfect getaway

First time in st Augustine and it was the perfect location! Spacious accommodations and coffee bar was amazing!!!!!! They provided absolutely everything you could need.

I cannot say enough about our stay at Casa Del Sol. The location could not have been better. It was walkable to absolutely everything. The house had everything you didn’t even think you might need. The home was spotless, beautifully decorated and super comfortable. I really appreciated the little things like how fresh the towels and sheets and blankets smelled. I know it sounds silly, but those little things can be big things! We had such a wonderful time and highly recommend staying at this property. We will be back. thank you Heather and Shaun.

Great place in heart of St. Augustine

The house is in the perfect location and has so many amenities that you may need throughout your stay. It was very clean and was exactly as described. I would definitely love to stay again.

Hidden gem in the heart of St Augustine. 2 blocks (walking distance) from St George St. Home was super welcoming to us and our pup. Extremely clean and well furnished. The property owner went above and beyond with all the little extras, which we greatly appreciated. Extra pillows, dog treats, a fully stocked coffee bar. It felt more like home than a vacation stay. Parking is tight. My car fit. My husand's full size truck would not have. Overall a great place to stay.

Concert weekend

Beautiful house in an absolutely great location. Didn’t need for anything. They had chairs, bikes, beach towels, beach blanket and a tent. All the amenities in the kitchen. Cute, quiet street. Would stay here anytime we are back in town.

Perfect location and home

Great location to everything in old St. Augustine town - we walked everywhere. The host was very supportive and the home came with everything we needed - including a sweet welcome gift for my pup. Love the private street and enjoyed hanging out on the deck

Even more perfect than it sounds

The description for this rental doesn’t adequately describe how awesome it is. Location is amazing and it’s such a comfortable spot to relax after walking to the sights all day. Communication with the hosts was prompt and very courteous, we had no problems while here but feel like they would have been very attentive if one had presented itself. Will be staying here again when we return next year.

We have stayed at many....but this is THE BEST! Dog friendly (just 2), every supply you can think of, 2 comfy King Size beds, dog dishes including toys and treats and a bed, beautiful artwork, phone and computer charging stations, an incredible coffee bar, clean as a whistle, dead end street that happens to be the best location in historic St. Augustine, motion lights under beds, a loaded kitchen with great drinking glasses, dishes and silverware, ice cold AC, TVs in every room, sweets from a local store....I could go on and on. Hope to stay again much longer!

Lovely cottage close to everything!

The most charming cottage! Attention to detail was paid to everything. Beds were cozy, house was clean, we needed for nothing. The house is so close to everything that we parked the car when we arrived and didn’t get back in until we departed. Would highly recommend!

Couldn't be more perfect!

This property is everything you could ever want. Impeccably clean, with every kind of amenity you could imagine. Also the location couldn't be better--it's right there in the middle of the historic district of St Augustine yet down a quiet little street that is tucked away. It is within walking distance to all the attractions, restaurants, and bars. This property is worth every penny.

Fantastic house!

Casa Del Sol is a great house and an amazing location! The house is very well appointed. The owners really thought of everything. It's just a few blocks to the busy Historic District area so it's easy to walk everywhere! We even walked the 2.5 miles over to the lighthouse! The house was clean and the beds were comfortable. The parking is really tight but the owners explain how to get in and out, and you can park off site too. We would definitely stay here again!

Exceeds your Expectations!

Casa del Sol is a hidden treasure in the heart of the historic district of St Augustine. The house is a private and quiet oasis at the end of a dead end street. An earlier reviewer called the house whisper quiet and it is true. It's incredibly charming with so many thoughtful touches throughout the home: Plush towels, quality linens, a generous coffee bar with anything you could want, dinnerware from Pottery Barn, comfortable couches and seating, games for rainy days, motion-detector nightlights, and all the pampering comforts for your furry friend. The hosts have created a welcoming atmosphere with their hospitality and the home’s decor. We will definitely return!

New memories in America’s oldest city!

Casa Del Sol was a dream vacation property. The home was immaculate and provided a luxurious space to relax after a long hot day of sightseeing. The owner has thought of every little necessity and the extras to pamper their guest. We were welcomed by a lovely gift bag and a warm welcome greeting card. Communication with the owners was fast and productive. I have stayed at several properties and this has by far been the best experience I have ever had.

Perfect Location

We like litttle 3 - 6 days Business detachment / R&R gettaways and love the rich history of St.Augistine Casa De Sol Checks all our boxs / needs Cleanliness, Quiet, Pet Friendly and Conveniant.....We've been to St. Augistine a few times last cpl years staying at the iconic Casa Monica, Renaissance hotels to another Vaca Rental and this place Casa De Sol is undeniably one of the best from location, cleanliness, whisper quiet location and over all amenities from the biggest to smallest detail you dont even think about, just an overall well thought out set up where most other Vaca rentals (our honest opinion) lack or do bare bare minimum but want premium price for sure, The host went above and beyond... regardless of what you drive they have the parking covered and its a location where you Park the car and and no need to touch the keys until departure/check out EVERYTHING is within a 3 min to 10 - 15 min stroll....Its saved as our favorite Chad / Iris S. Fl.

Truly cared about their guests

This house was perfect for our family getaway over Mother's day weekend. It was nice and clean. Booking was easy. All the fun, food, and entertainment is within minutes which made it super easy. We never had to move our car from the house ( since it seems like parking can be a challenge in town). We easily walked everywhere!! The beds were comfy and linens smelled nice and fresh. Kitchen is fully stocked, they even left goodies for us. The owners carefully selected all the essential items one can possibly need; from toiletries, to beach items, to a wonderful well stocked coffee bar. They really went above and beyond. We have been using VRBO for years and this house definitely tops it for us. You can tell all the thought and care that was put into the house, from the inside out, the spaces are so well thought out. We loved its charm and decor. It was a Perfect family home away from home. Highly recommend to everyone and would definitely stay again for any future trips to the area.

Hop, Skip and a Jump

Phenomenal location. Ability to walk to everything that historic downtown has to offer. The cute craftsman bungalow was very well appointed. Heather and Shaun considered every small detail to make our stay a pleasure. From a lovely basket filled with goodies (to include a bone for our four legged kids and 4th of July items) to various provisions that provided the comforts of home, such as a completely stocked coffee/tea bar, the all important kitchen seasonings, and great bath towels, to name a few. If we needed it, it was there (to include a bandaid). The bungalow comes with both onsite and offsite parking, if you have a very large vehicle. The offsite parking is in close proximity, so not inconvenient. Heather communicated very well prior to and during our stay, so all needs were met. We cannot emphasize the location enough. Breakfast, lunch, dinner, midnight snack - you can walk to it within minutes. In general, St. Augustine is a beautiful historic Spanish Colonial City. There is something for everyone. Great history, architecture, dining, shopping and oh yes, water views and beaches. Great stay!!
